Today's Israel Inspiration

Kinneret is the Hebrew name for the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s main source of fresh water. Kinneret in Hebrew comes from כִּינור kinor, which is a violin or a harp, like the shape of the Sea. It is a wonderful place to swim in the hot summer months and a beautiful Hebrew female name. Want to learn your name in Hebrew?

Blessings at Aaron's Gravesite

This week, on the anniversary of Aaron the Priest’s death, a group of Israelis trekked to his gravesite, praying with deep devotion in his merit.

"Praise Him" With Your Very Own Shofar!

Now you can "praise Him with the Shofar blast," using an authentic Shofar from Israel! The sound of the shofar is likened to the wailing of man as he turns to God. Get your own Shofar, made in Israel, a sure way to evoke a connection to God.

Today's Israel Photo

Yehoshua Halevi's beautiful photo of Lake Kinneret. As one of Israel's primary sources of drinking water, Israelis listen eagerly to weather reports which measure the rise (and not the fall, please God) of the lake during the rainy winter season.

Thank you for your e-mails, I am A Christian Zionist from N.E. Ohio. Every e-mail you send is a reminder to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the peace and protection of the Jewish people, whom I love. I believe Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the sovereign, G-D given state of Israel. I believe the land of Israel was given once and for all time by covenant from G-D to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He that keepeth Israel never slumbers nor sleeps. Shalom, Bernie Pavilonis
