FedEx offered to match every gift through October 19 to support our Holidays for Heroes program, and 1,785 USO supporters responded. But as you can see, we’re still $8,496 short of our $125,000 goal:
When military members are deployed in extreme, remote conditions where even a tube of toothpaste or a roll of toilet paper is a luxury, there’s nothing like opening a USO holiday care package or making a phone call to hear family say “Merry Christmas!” A Navy lieutenant told us, “Without USO’s holiday packages, we would have no physical reminders of what was happening back home.”

Without patriotic supporters like you, there would be no holidays for our heroes. Christmas and New Year’s would just be more grueling days of training exercises, dangerous missions or exhausting duties. No decorations, gifts or companionship.
