 Brexit: The final deal
Thursday 11 October 2018, 7pm–8.30pm
Conway Hall, London

The October deadline for a final Brexit deal is fast approaching, and without any agreements on what sort of deal we will secure, it is becoming increasingly likely we may have to progress without one.

With Theresa May turning a blind eye to damning reports that a no-deal Brexit will be catastrophic for all British industries, and Jacob Rees-Mogg claiming it will be possible to carry out searches on the Irish border akin to those of the Troubles, it is apparent that the cabinet is in chaos - and the opposition is offering little relief, with Jeremy Corbyn’s stance on Brexit still considered by Labour supporters as too vague.

Join Alison McGovern, Member of Parliament for Wirral South, Anand Menon, director of thinktank UK in a Changing Europe, with chair Heather Stewart, joint political editor at the Guardian, as they discuss our Brexit deal and the key things to take away as they unfold.
