U.S. states are criminalizing necessary tactics to expose animal abuse at factory farms. Tell every state to oppose "ag-gag" laws.

Carl,
The cruelties that happen inside factory farming facilities are horrific. Chickens' beaks are suddenly and violently chopped off, leaving them choking on their own blood. Many animals never go outside a single time before they are sent to slaughter. We know all this because brave animal activists have managed to expose these horrible conditions by videotaping and publishing them for the world to see. But in many states, this kind of whistleblowing is actually a crime. And it's considered worse than the animal cruelty itself.
"Ag-gag" laws make it a punishable offense to covertly film in factory farms and slaughterhouses or to even apply for a job at these facilities without disclosing connections with animal welfare organizations. Why? To reduce the likelihood of any of this information getting out or being made public. Sign the petition to demand that all U.S. states oppose ag-gag laws and work to improve conditions for farm animals, not hide them.
Thank you,

Emily V.
