Beginning on August 8th, masks will be mandatory at all outdoor gatherings and in government offices. Leaders are also asking the elderly population to visit health clinics and receive a third booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. "The Delta epidemic is extremely contagious, and is spreading all over the world," Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said. "Avoid crowds, and get vaccinated now. Otherwise, there will be no choice but to impose more severe restrictions, including a lockdown." FACES OF FEED ISRAEL TAL GRIGURI Tal is 76 years old. Iranian officials have denied responsibility for the attack on Mercer Street, an oil tanker owned by a company based in London with ties to an Israeli billionaire. Intelligence officials are suggesting the vessel was targeted in retaliation for a recent Israeli airstrike in Syria. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid issued a bold joint statement, emphasizing how Israel will maintain the right to act independently in the face of any attack or threat to its citizens and sovereignty.
