I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the floor of the Cleveland Right to Life–sponsored "Bringing America Back to Life" symposium, the most highly attended annual right-to-life conference in the country.
One of the most visible hallmarks of the right-to-life movement is that it's mostly populated by Catholic laity, laity who have been forced to grab the reins because of the woeful lack of Catholic leadership in the persons of the bishops. Even to this day, the presence of the episcopate in the fight for the lives of the preborn is almost nonexistent.
But it's not just the pro-life movement that bishops have been "MIA" in; it's virtually every single moral teaching of the Church — most especially sexuality. And at the top of the list in this area has been clerical homosexuality.
GabTweetThe diocese of Lafayette has been a hotbed of homosexuality within the clergy for decades now. It also has the very dubious distinction of being the first diocese in the country where the issue of homosexual sex abuse reared its ugly head in the secular media, all the way back in the 1980s (a full 20 years before the Boston Globe unleashed its "Spotlight" exposé in 2002).
So local Catholics and former seminarians have teamed up and decided to do something about it. They've founded the organization the Society of St. Peter Damian, named after the 11th-century Doctor of the Church who fought ferociously against homosexuality in the clergy in Rome.
He was so impressive that Dante placed him in one of the highest places possible in Paradiso. Another SSPD member, Peter, says that it's time for the laity to take back the Church.
The spillover of all this gay garbage in the Church for the past half-century knows no bounds, corrupting morals everywhere and warping priestly formation.
Last fall, Church Militant Resistance leader Joe Gallagher and shooter Ryan Seybold went down to Lafayette on special assignment to meet up with serious Catholics and do a deep dive into the destruction of the local church that has happened there.
