Food Industry Hammers Kamala Harris With Inflation Facts
Inflation is what caused all the high prices when Joe Biden’s handlers dropped the value of our dollars through the floor. America’s food industry is steaming over Kamala Harris trying to pin the effects of Democrat policies on them. She’s out to battle their “price gouging” in an attempt to score votes. Economists say her plan is the sort of left-wing trick which put Russian communists out of business. “Kamala Harris’ plan for American-style communism is a $1.7 trillion giveaway, when our budget deficit this year is $1.9 trillion, and our national debt is already $35 trillion.”
Blame Joe Biden’s handlers for the inflation, food industry leaders tell Kamala Harris. She recently accused them of “price gouging.” All the food suppliers raised “the cost of groceries.” That makes it “more expensive for Americans to eat.”
Andy Harig explained the economic facts of life to her, wearing his hat as “vice president at FMI, a trade group representing food retailers and suppliers.”
Kraft and Mondelez aren’t sitting around in smoky back rooms conspiring to keep prices high and profits robust. Those are Democrat tactics and Kamala is projecting again.
“To automatically just say there’s got to be something nefarious, I think to us that is oversimplified.” Her attempts to counter the effects of inflation by price controls “could have unintended consequences.”
Since Joe Biden usurped power, “the costs of labor and raw materials have soared due to high inflation.” The only way to stay in business was raise prices. Making money is a good thing, it’s called capitalism and drives a growing economy. Harris is a hardcore communist at heart.

Upsetting sticker shock
The grocery industry understands “why there is this sticker shock and why it’s upsetting.” It’s Kamala Harris who can’t understand basic laws of economics. She was one of the pioneering prosecutors who decriminalized crime in San Francisco so laws have never been inside her comfort zone to start with. Inflation raised the cost of raw materials.
If the food maker doesn’t raise the price of their product, it puts all their workers on the unemployment line, when they go out of business.
It also puts all the workers of their suppliers on the unemployment line when their business goes under, along with the company they supply. That’s the reality of inflation on economic systems. Kamala doesn’t believe in reality.
Michael Sinkinson, an economist at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management has another piece of advice for Kamala. “It can be very hard to create any price control that is not gameable.”
Not only will price controls have no impact on the underlying inflation, who sets the controls? How much does it take in bribes to influence their decisions? More corrupt Democrat business as usual, disguised as a way to help the starving masses.
