The Schumer Shutdown is hitting Democrats harder than anyone else. They are demanding a $1.5 trillion spending spree, including health care for illegal immigrants and restored funding for NPR. Townhall’s Katie Pavlich noted, “The Democrats are getting crushed by Schumer Shutdown headlines.” Even outlets like The Washington Post, The Hill, The Independent, and the New York Post have pointed the blame at Democrats for the stalemate. Sen. Chuck Schumer and his ally, Hakeem Jeffries, appear to be losing this political fight—but their party is the biggest loser of all.
The era of “woke” social engineering in the U.S. military is over. That was the charge given by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to more than 800 generals this week. For too long, America’s armed forces have been burdened by divisive diversity quotas, sensitivity trainings, and political agendas that distracted from their core mission—defending the nation. Hegseth made it clear that under his leadership, the military’s focus will return to readiness, strength, and victory on the battlefield, not social experiments in the barracks. This total rejection of leftist ideology is a turning point for the US Military. Hegseth emphasized that we must remain the world’s most lethal fighting force—not a testing ground for progressive activism. His remarks were met with strong applause and a renewed sense of clarity among the ranks.
