FoxNews host Jesse Watters has observed that the five hours of recorded testimony President Joe Biden gave in his recent federal case could scuttle his reelection efforts.
Special Counsel Robert Hur conducted an investigation into whether the president mishandled classified documents. He concluded that the president likely did commit the crimes as described — but that he is too old and memory-challenged to stand trial.
“It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness,” Hur stated in his report.
Of course, this poses a significant dilemma of “you can’t have it both ways” to Biden’s supporters. If he is too feeble-minded to stand trial, one wonders how he can function as president of the United States.
Alex Pfeiffer, spokesman for Trump’s Super PAC “Make America Great Again” said in a statement: “If you’re too senile to stand trial, then you’re too senile to be president.”
Several teasers from these tapes have leaked to the public, notably that Biden could not remember when he was vice president and that he seemed not to recall the year of his son Beau’s death.
Watters speculates that with five hours of Justice Department interviews, these items may be tip-of-the-iceberg soundbites in a much more damaging arsenal of blackmail material.
He said on his Fox News segment: “That tape’s now being leveraged over the president and can be used against him at any time…he’s now subject to blackmail by his own administration. Worst of all– Biden’s base is now breaking off into factions, which is fatal to political power.”
Some of Biden’s allies have dismissed the issue of his memory and mental acuity. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NJ) called it “right-wing propaganda” in a Fox News interview. Former California Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, also on Fox News, noted that Biden is “Very sharp — He’s younger than I am.”
But others in the progressive camp have recently acknowledged Biden’s declining mental abilities — and conceded that he might be replaceable. This includes the New York Times, former political strategist James Carville, and left-leaning commentator Bill Maher.
That does not mean they are now MAGA Trump supporters.
The left-wing The Atlantic ran a recent editorial from Damon Linker that has called for a new Democrat nominee, referring to Trump as a “sociopathic menace” who “must be defeated.”
The piece concluded: “The time to fix this mess is now – before it really is too late.”
A disturbing angle here is the game of 4D chess possibly being played — involving the recruiting of another candidate for the Democrat nomination. There has been talk about California Governor Gavin Newsom being drafted for the role. He takes progressivism to evil and extreme levels. It has resulted in a California overrun with illegals, soft on crime, taxed to overwhelming levels, with draconian gun restrictions and endless lifestyle-crippling climate alarmist legislation.
Gavin Newsom represents all of this — and at 56, he is much younger, more handsome, more dangerous — and more electable.
Perhaps conservatives should back off on Biden’s mental decline for the time being and let it be what removes him from office in November.

According to Bobulinski, China, yes that China, “infiltrated” the highest levels of power by cozying up to none other than then-vice president, Joe Biden himself!
Bobulinski revealed that the Chinese Communist Party, through their puppet company China Energy Company Limited (CEFC), successfully wormed their way into the Biden family’s business dealings. It turns out that millions of dirty Chinese dollars flowed directly into the pockets of Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden through CEFC China Energy. And this shady conglomerate just so happens to have close ties to Beijing’s authoritarian regime. Coincidence? We think not.But here’s where it gets even more scandalous. Bobulinski spilled the beans on a secret venture called SinoHawk Holdings, in which he, Hunter Biden, and CEFC were all involved. According to Bobulinski, the deal was so big and so important that he even had a face-to-face meeting with Joe Biden himself. Yes, the former vice president had his hands deep in the cookie jar. Or should we say, the communist cookie jar.
Shockingly, Bobulinski claimed that Joe Biden was fully aware of the CEFC transaction and did absolutely nothing to put an end to it. In fact, he actively enabled it. That’s right, folks, our dear old Sleepy Joe disregarded his constitutional responsibility to protect the American people and instead chose to dance with the Chinese devil. Talk about betrayal!But hold up, there’s more! Bobulinski accused Biden of employing a cowardly tactic known as “plausible deniability.” Essentially, Joe Biden tried to cover his tracks by creating a false sense of distance between himself and the shady dealings of his family. Nice try, Joe, but we’re not falling for it!
Remember Devon Archer, Hunter’s buddy and business partner? Well, he also spilled the beans last year, describing Joe Biden as the “brand” behind their lucrative escapades. Hmm, it seems like these testimonies are piling up faster than Hillary’s deleted emails.
Of course, the Democrats will do everything in their power to paint Bobulinski’s bombshell testimony as a nothingburger. But let’s be real, my fellow conservatives, this is nothing short of a smoking gun. It’s time for the truth to come out about the Biden family’s web of corruption and their troubling ties to China.
For years, Joe Biden has been playing dumb, pretending he knew nothing about his son’s sketchy business dealings. Well, the walls are closing in, and mounting evidence is making it harder for him to keep up the act. If Joe wants us to believe he’s innocent, he’ll have to do better than claiming “high-level awareness.” Nice try, Sleepy Joe, but we’re not buying it.
