Dear Lord Jesus,
I know I am a sinner. I pray that you will forgive me for all of my sins, that you will come into my heart and be my Lord, the savior of my life. I confess that you died on the cross to save me from my sins and I am committed to turning away from those sins. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can be born again. I ask that you give me the strength and abundant faith to overcome any and all attacks by the enemy, including my desire to sin so that I may serve you completely.

I pray that you will give me discernment so that I may know all things that are truth, and the knowledge acquired from reading your Word. Use me this day as I am a willing vessel Lord, in leading others to your kingdom. Wash me as white as snow. Put a hedge of protection around me as I go forth in doing your will. Thank you Jesus for saving me, as I know that only through my faith in you that all this is possible. Amen

Trump Pick Terrifies Both Foreign Enemies and Domestic Democrats

A group of senators locked themselves in a room with “embattled Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth“. The conservatives in the conclave “offered a full-throated defense” of his approval. By now, Republicans understand that the more scandalous but un-provable allegations Democrats raise against a nominated official, the more effective that person would be on the job. Everyone on Capitol Hill can smell the progressive panic, this time.

Hegseth committed to military

Pete Hegseth was joined by his wife Jennifer Rauchet for a private conference with around a dozen Republican senators on Monday, December 2.

That was clearly meant to show that she’s not particularly bothered by the “fresh reports of financial and sexual misconduct,” which Democrats hope will prevent his official confirmation.

Bits and pieces leaked out of the meeting indicate that the scandals in the news never even came up. Hegseth is so perfect for the job that the Republican senators really don’t care if the allegations are true or not.

Florida Senator Rick Scott noted that “he’s clearly committed to making sure we have a lethal military that scares the crap out of our enemies.”

A year from now, Scott predicts, “military recruitment numbers will have skyrocketed under Secretary Hegseth.” Democrats decided to solve the problem of low recruitment by lowering the standards.

They know that Trump’s choice to replace Lloyd Austin will put a stop to that sort of nonsense instantly. That’s why the scandals are whirling around like snowflakes in a blizzard.

Everyone on Capitol Hill can smell progressive panic.

Media in on the smear

Texas Senator Ted Cruz pointed out that Democrats have a whole lot of incentive to make the Hegseth confirmation hearing “a spectacle.” He wishes the media would cover the issues fairly but knows they never will. The networks, he griped, need to “have an equal amount of ink to the actual substance of the job.”

Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis agrees. “We were embarrassed by our departure from Afghanistan, and we want to restore American confidence in our military. All these other issues are side issues.”

In general, Republicans have agreed to put political differences aside in favor of shoulder-to-shoulder solidarity behind President Donald Trump and his agenda. This meeting is clearly an example of trying to hammer out their differences behind the scenes.

Hegseth clearly has full approval of the far-right. Thankfully, Democrat in disguise RINO sleeper cells like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney have been purged from both chambers of Congress. Even so, there’s a chance that four Republican senators may be “moderate” enough to tank his approval.

That means Democrats are going to pull out all the stops and make Brett Kavanagh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court seem tame in comparison.

You can expect the anti Hegseth rhetoric to ramp up to record levels of hysteria before the Senate finally puts a stop to it by confirming him anyway.
