Pam Bondi Reminds Adam Schiff of His Humiliating Past as Confirmation Hearing Gets Heated: 'You Were Censured by Congress'

Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi got into a heated exchange during her confirmation hearing Wednesday with Sen. Adam Schiff of California, which ended with her reminding him that he had been censured by the House of Representatives.

Schiff first questioned Bondi as she testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee whether she would have the independence to say “No” to soon-to-be President Donald Trump, when necessary.

“Let me start with one very specific non-hypothetical. The president has said Jack Smith should go to jail. Will you investigate Jack Smith?” he asked.

Smith ended up filing two cases against Trump in 2023, one alleging he mishandled classified documents and another claiming he sought to interfere in the 2020 election. Smith dropped both cases after Trump was re-elected and he resigned as special counsel on Friday.

Bondi responded to Schiff, “Senator, I haven’t seen the file. I haven’t seen the investigation. I haven’t looked at anything. It would be irresponsible of me to make a commitment regarding anything without looking … at a file.”

“Senator, what I’m hearing on the news is horrible. Do I know if he committed a crime? That I have not looked at,” Bondi responded.

Schiff later questioned how the nominee would advise Trump regarding his plans to issue pardons on his first day in office to most of those who have been prosecuted for engaging in the Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capitol.

“I’m going to look at everything. We’ll look at individual cases,” Trump told NBC News host Kristen Welker last month. “But I’m going to be acting very quickly.”

Welker wondered how quickly.

The president-elect added, “There may be some exceptions to it. I have to look, if somebody was radical, crazy.”

Bondi told Schiff on Wednesday, “I will look at every case, on a case-by-case basis, and I abhor violence to police officers.”

“Will you be able to review hundreds of cases on day 1?” Schiff queried.

“I will look at every file that I am asked to look at,” Bondi began to answer, but Schiff cut her off, “Of course you won’t.”

“You said, ‘Of course you won’t.’ Listen, I’m not going to mislead this body, nor you. You were censured by Congress for comments just like this, that are so reckless,” she asserted.

The resolution identified multiple other reasons for the congressman’s censure, given his position of trust on the committee.

Schiff closed his questioning of Bondi calling on her to commit that none of the evidence from the House Jan. 6 investigation will be destroyed while she is attorney general.

In December 2022, the Jan. 6 committee — which was commissioned by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi and on which Schiff served — turned over its work to the DOJ prior to the Republicans taking back control of the House the following month.

“Why do you have difficulty answering that question?” Schiff shot back.

“I can’t believe you’re asking such a question,” Bondi replied.

Etsy Mocks Our Lord By Putting A Dress On His Crucified Body

Recently, a friend of mine was looking for something on Etsy, and what he found horrified him.

Someone decided to take a corpus off of a crucifix, put a dress on it, frame it and call it art.

Tell Etsy to Remove Blasphemous Art from Its Website Today!

This seller on Etsy prides herself in repurposing old unwanted items, by turning them into “art”. She says “Repurposing is my religion.”

Her idea of art mocks the crucifixion of Our Lord.

Some of the keywords used to describe this atrocity are “Jesus In A Dress”, and “Drag Queen”.

She even has the gall to call it “Sunday Best.”

That’s truly appalling!

Demand that Blasphemous Art Like This be Remove From Etsy

Unfortunately, this is only one item of many. And this seller is not alone in making blasphemous products like this—products that mock Our Lord Jesus Christ.

When Our Lady appeared in La Salette, she shed many tears because of the sins of humanity.

She said “If my people do not obey, I shall be compelled to loose my Son’s arm. It is so heavy that I can no longer hold it.”

Today you have an opportunity to console Our Lord by defending his honor.

Please sign this petition, and offer your prayers in reparation for blasphemies like these.

‘Not going to be pretty’: Retired NYPD intel officer predicts learning ugly truths on FBI as Trump admin digs deeper

Daily Caller News Foundation

Retired NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro appeared on Fox Business Friday and predicted that the Trump administration will uncover unsettling truths about the FBI.

Trump on Thursday ordered the preservation of all relevant records for a potential corruption investigation. This, as he raised questions about the motivations and implications of the FBI’s actions after the agency suddenly discontinued its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. As the investigation into the FBI and its DEI shutdown begins, Mauro said that this could be just the start of a larger drama.

Federal law enforcement agencies and some of the local agencies, Mauro said, have decided that law enforcement is not their first priority.

“[But] social engineering is,” Mauro said.

“This is stuff that comes from the top when we had a rudderless executive, and very clearly it ends but I think this drama is just beginning, because I’m sure the Trump Administration has a good idea of what they see when they start turning the rocks over and it’s not going to be pretty.”

Mauro shed light on the situation and explained the significance of the preservation order.

“This is really developing into something that we didn’t see coming. The Trump administration has signaled that they were not going to be looking to engage in any lawfare or these sort of backwards-looking investigations,” Mauro said. “But this looks like they’re quite serious about it. When you put them on notice that they better not destroy any records, you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to see some sort of an initiation of a probe here.”

The closure of the FBI‘s DEI unit occurred just days before Trump’s inauguration, which prompted accusations of lawfare. However, Mauro said that the probe is likely justified given the FBI’s recent track record.

“I’m not saying that it’s not justified, just to be clear. What I meant by that is the fact that they’re going to initiate a probe. I think it is almost certainly justified in light of the fact that if you look at the FBI’s history here over the last four years, we’ve had things like the arrival of Tren de Aragua,” Mauro said, referring to the Venezuelan-based criminal organization. “We haven’t had one federal case relative to that agency, that group that I’ve seen. You could have had conspiracy cases of all sorts there. They turned a blind eye to that. At the same time, you had Jewish students on campus who couldn’t even get to class.”

The FBI confirmed on Thursday the closure of its DEI office.

“In recent weeks, the FBI took steps to close the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), effective by December 2024,” an FBI spokesperson said in an emailed statement to The Hill.

This decision comes amid escalating criticism of DEI initiatives, particularly in the wake of a terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day. The incident resulted in the deaths of at least 15 individuals and injuries to dozens more, authorities reported.
