A horrible attack on a sleeping 13-year-old American citizen living in Jerusalemoccurred on Thursday and so far, President Obama has made no effort to make a comment.

Hallel Yaffa Ariel, verified a U.S. citizen by the State Department, was asleep in her bedroom when a Palestinian teen climbed over the wall of her village in the West Bank, sneaked through a window and stabbed the girl multiple times in the upper body. Her assailant fled and also stabbed a civilian security guard arriving to help. He was then shot and killed by Israeli officers and identified as 17-year-old Muhammad Nasser Tarayrah. The girl was rushed to the hospital but ultimately succumbed to her fatal wounds.

The mother of the Palestinian boy praised her son's actions, as noted by Pamela Geller:

"My son is a hero. He made me proud. My son died as a Martyr defending Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, he has joined the Martyrs before him, and he is not better than them. Allah willing, all of them will follow this path, all the youth of Palestine. Allah be praised."

Here's what Obama said about the murder of a U.S. citizen by an Islamic terrorist: "…"

Nothing.

(He could barely muster a statement even after the recent terror in Istanbul.)

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had plenty to say, just as he didafter Orlando, and wholeheartedly condemned the attack on an innocent girl:

“You don’t murder a sleeping child for peace. You don’t slit a little girl’s throat to protest a policy you don’t like.

“You do this because you’ve been brainwashed. You’ve been brainwashed by a warped ideology that teaches you that this child isn’t human.

“We will not let barbarism defeat humanity. There’s no middle ground between beautiful Hallel and her unspeakably evil murderer.

“Today, each of us is going to fight back… We fight back first by fighting back, fighting the terrorists, fighting their backers, fighting those who incite for such murder, whether in Hebron or in Orlando, or in Berlin, or in Ankara, or in Belgium, anywhere.

“We fight back by making sure that our collective moral compass doesn’t waver even a millimeter."

It's nice to know there is a real leader out there.

How is this for poetic justice? 

A George Soros-funded watchdog group dubbed Transparify, which ranks U.S. think tanks in terms of their openness and accountability, just released its official 2016 transparency report. Number one on its list of "least transparent" think tanks is the other George Soros-funded group, Open Society Foundations. Newsbustersreports: 

Transparify, a 3-year-old organization that ranks think tanks from “Highly Opaque” to “Highly Transparent,” released its 2016 transparency report on June 29. For the third year in a row, Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF) occupied the lowest spot in the United States, having ranked below the other 42 American think tanks evaluated.

“We are aware of the irony," Transparify spokesman Dustin Gilbreath told the Thomson Reuters Foundation. "Transparify applies the same criteria to all organizations, including our own donor."

The organization ranks the transparency of an organization by how well it publicly disclose its funding sources on its website. When Transparify released its first report in 2014, it noted “The OSF website highlights George Soros as their founder, but does not specify the funding source on its expenditure page.”

Best of all, Open Society is now arguing its affiliate's ranking on the basis of semantics, saying Open Society has "incorrectly been labeled a think tank and should not have been included in the ranking."

According to Reuters, Open Society has used the same excuse two years running. 

Newsbusters astutely notes that Soros used his Open Society Foundation "to influence the FCC, fund the Black Lives Matter protest movement, determine the Progressive political message, and even pushing for President Obama’s most recent Supreme Court nominee."

Of course this isn't even the tip of the progressive iceberg when it comes to the vast number of subversive groups and causes funded by the leftwing billionaire. We can, however, take some cold comfort in the fact that his own watchdog group turned around to bite him.

One minute a poll finds that the majority of Democrats want Hillary Clinton to continue her presidential campaign even if indicted, the next they say they wish Obama could serve a third-term in office.

Polling data provided to The Hill by WPA Research reveals that 67 percent of Democrats would opt for an Obama third term over a Clinton-presidency. Yes, despite the record number of people out of the work force, a stagnant economy, and the ravages of Islamic terrorism on display near-daily, only 28 percent of Democrats say they are "ready" for Obama to leave office. Another 6 percent just have no clue. The Hill adds: 

Obama is enjoying a surprisingly strong approval rating for a president serving out the final months of his second term.

A Washington Post-ABC News survey released this week found Obama’s net approval rating approaching 80 points in positive territory among Democrats. Former President Bill Clinton was at about 60 points positive within his own party at this point in 2000, while former President George W. Bush was under 40 with Republicans.

At the same time, a Gallup survey from April found Clinton’s net approval rating among Democrats hitting a new low. She had a 63-point net positive approval rating last November. That plummeted to only 36 points in April.

“The results should give pause to the Hillary Clinton campaign as Democratic respondents clearly prefer the status quo to a Clinton presidency,” a memo from WPA said.

Polling data have become increasingly erratic. For instance, recent polls indicated that 84 percent of the nation believes we cannot defend ourselves from another terrorist attack -- clearly indicating that Americans have no faith in the administration when it comes to national security -- and that they are dissatisfied with the nation's trajectory, yet the same polls conversely give Obama high favorablity ratings. In another poll, the majority of Americans indicated that they find Hillary Clinton dishonest and untrustworthy, yet that same poll also shows the same people view Donald Trump less favorably than Clinton.

One day a poll finds Clinton leading Trump, the next day Trump is leading Clinton -- sometimes within the margin of error, sometimes not. A recent Wall Street Journal poll pegged Trump and Clinton in a dead-heat while an ABC-Washington Post poll gave Clinton an 11-point lead. When you read the fine print barely visible below the WaPo-ABC poll, it is revealed that the survey was also "conducted in Spanish." 

Disparate polling criteria and framing bias reflects further inconsistency. Just recently, a poll revealed that the majority of Democrats believe Hillary Clinton is best suited to lead the country even if indicted, yet soon after, the poll cited above reveals they wish Obama could have a third term instead. Another poll, conducted again by ABC-WaPo, found the majority believe Obama has done a great job, but "hope the next president does things differently."

Huh? 

The point is that polls and their credibility need to be taken with a grain of salt. Pundits and campaign strategists are on the airwaves daily touting the set of polling data that best prop up their side, but it is for naught. Trump and Clinton have yet to take the debate stage, the national party conventions have yet to take place, and we are still four months away -- light years in the political arena -- from the November election. Much can change in that time, as history has already proven.

For people who are supposedly "completely innocent" they sure don't act the part. 

The Department of Justice sought a motion to delay the release of thousands of Clinton Foundation emails by 27 months -- in other words, well into a potential Clinton-presidency. The Daily Caller, which first broke the story, reports: 

Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

If the court permits the delay, the public won’t be able to read the communications until October 2018, about 22 months into her prospective first term as President. The four senior Clinton aides involved were Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Michael Fuchs, Ambassador-At-Large Melanne Verveer, Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin.

The State Department originally estimated that 6,000 emails and other documents were exchanged by the aides with the Clinton Foundation. But a series of “errors” the department told the court about Wednesday evening now mean the total has grown to “34,116 potentially responsive documents.”

During Clinton’s four years as America’s chief foreign diplomat, her aides communicated with officials at the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings where Bill Clinton was formerly both a client and paid consultant, on the average of  700 times each month, according to the DoJ filing. 

The documents are being sought through the Freedom of Information Act by the conservative nonprofit group, Citizens United.

"The American people have a right to see these emails before the election," Citizens United President David Bossie told the Daily Caller.

State Department spokesman John Kirby cited an overload in FOIA requests as the cause for the State Department's extension request.

Right. 

The Citizens United motion was filed just two days after Attorney General Loretta Lynch "coincidentally" bumped into Bill Clinton at the Phoenix airport, where they, you know, just "chatted about their grandkids."

In the video clip featured above, Fox News' Greta Van Susteren and guests say it's as if Clinton and the administration are going out of their way to "look guilty."

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced on Thursday that men and women who identify as transgender will now be allowed to serve openly in the military, reports NBC News. And by next year, each branch will allow transgender people to join. This means all new handbooks, training, and medical protocols are forthcoming to deal with the various gender identities. 

From the report:

Current members of the armed forces with a diagnosis from a military physician that gender transition is medically needed will receive that care.

However, DoD "policy will require an individual to have completed any medical treatment that their doctor has determined is necessary in connection with their gender transition, and to have been stable in their preferred gender for 18 months, as certified by their doctor, before they can enter the military," according to the Pentagon.

These are all big changes for the small amount of active duty troops who are transgender. Out of 1.3 million, only 2,500 are transgender. As the report notes, the U.S. now joins Israel and the U.K. who have already lifted its bans.

This move follows the confirmation of the U.S.'s first openly gay military leader in Army Secretary Eric Fanning. It also follows other gender-friendly changes, including allowing women to go through Ranger training and Marine training. As TruthRevolt reported on Wednesday, the Marine Corps announced the removal of "man" from 19 job titles and are replacing it with "Marine." No longer is it Reconnaissance Man, but Reconnaissance Marine.

The Obama administration has been pushing to be more inclusive of the LGBT community, but many fear this is a move that puts "politics over policy," like House Armed Services Chairman Mac Thornberry said:

"Our military readiness—and hence, our national security—is dependent on our troops being medically ready and deployable. The Administration seems unwilling or unable to assure the Congress and the American people that transgender individuals will meet these individual readiness requirements at a time when our Armed Forces are deployed around the world."
