Rare Red Heifer Eligible for Third Temple Offering Found, And You Won’t Believe Where

Rare Red Heifer Eligible for Third Temple Offering Found, And You Won’t Believe Where

“This is the statute of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer without defect, in which there is no blemish, and on which a yoke has never come.” Numbers 19:2 (The Israel Bible™)
A rabbi in a remote region of Mexico he went to a dairy farm to purchase milk, and was shocked when he saw a vital element of the Third Temple right in front of his eyes: a red heifer calmly chewing its cud under the Baja sun.
“I’ve grown up with the stories, so I know how rare and valuable the red heifer is,” Rabbi Benny “Bentsion” Hershcovich told Breaking Israel News. “I’ve never seen a red heifer and I never expected to see one. My heart literally jumped when I saw it.”
The red heifer, one of the most perplexing Torah commandments, is a necessary element for purifying Jews in order to enable them to do the service in the Temple.
And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of B’nei Yisrael for a water of sprinkling; it is a purification from sin. Numbers 19:9
Over the course of the approximately one thousand years the First and Second Temple stood, only nine Red Heifers were used in preparing the waters used to purify Jews. According to Jewish tradition, the tenth one will be used by the Messiah.

Rabbi Hershcovich is the emissary to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for Chabad, a branch of Hasidic Judaism which emphasizes the role of the Messiah. He works hard to serve the spiritual needs of the small Jewish community in Baja, but adhering to the extra-stringent Chabad customs regarding the preparation of food presents a challenge in the exotic locale.
“Even though we are in this far-flung region, we decided not to compromise on any of the kosher standards we held in Brooklyn,” Rabbi Hershcovich explained to Breaking Israel News. This adherence to ritual led him to a remarkable discovery illustrating that the Third Temple is very close indeed.
Rabbi Hershcovich’s kosher stringencies require that he personally oversee the milking for making his own dairy products. While visiting a Mexican farm, the rabbi looked up from the milking and was shocked to see a distinctively colored cow wandering among the herd: one which appeared completely red, without a blemish or spot.
Rabbi Hershcovich asked the farmer about the calf. The perplexed Mexican farmer explained that it had been born several months earlier, and that while the color was odd, he considered it to be “just another cow”. The farmer had never heard of the Biblical commandment and did not understand why the rabbi was so excited.
Though familiar with the concept of the red heifer – or para adumah in Hebrew – Rabbi Hershcovich felt unqualified to determine whether this particular cow fulfilled the Torah requirements. The laws pertaining to the red heifer are complex and a tiny blemish or a hair of the wrong color can render the cow unfit.
This is the statute of the law which Hashem hath commanded, saying: Speak unto B’nei Yisrael, that they bring thee a red heifer, faultless, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke. Numbers 19:2
“Regardless of its status, just seeing something that was an integral part of the Temple and Jewish history, was really magnificent,” the rabbi said. “I was mesmerized by this simple cow.”
A very few candidates for the red heifer have been found. Most have been disqualified due to blemishes or pregnancies. In an effort to reinstate the mitzvah (Torah commandment) of purifying with the red heifer’s ashes, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem last year imported embryos of red angus, a distinctly red breed of cow, and implanted them in Israeli cows at a farm in the Negev. Though several male cows were born, no reports of pure red heifers have been forthcoming.
Though it is unlikely the Baja bovine will become part of the Jewish Third Temple service, the random encounter had deeply spiritual meaning for Rabbi Hershcovich.
“It’s part of who we are and represents an important part of our future. Seeing it shows that our hope can be realized,” Rabbi Hershcovich said. “We always wonder if something we read in the news is the thing that will bring Moshiach. Seeing this red heifer in front of my eyes shows that it can indeed happen at any moment, in any location.”

HOAX – “Machupo Virus In Paracetamol”

HOAX – “Machupo Virus In Paracetamol”

Outline:
“Urgent” message circulating via social media claims that a new “very white and shiny” type of paracetamol tablets labelled P/500 contains the dangerous Machupo virus.

Brief Analysis:
The claims in the warning are utter nonsense. There are no credible reports that support the claim that the Machupo virus has been found in paracetamol or any other medication. Machupo is spread primarily via aerosol transmission of dust particles from infected rodents. Sharing this false warning will help nobody.

Example:
URGENT WARNING!
Be careful not to take the paracetamol that comes written P / 500. It is a new, very white and shiny paracetamol, doctors prove to contain “Machupo” virus, considered one of the most dangerous viruses in the world. And with high mortality rate. Please share this message, for all people and family. And save life from them ….. I’ve done my part, now it’s your turn … remember that God helps those who help.
Machupo Virus Paracetamol Warning Hoax

Detailed Analysis:
This “urgent” message, which is circulating rapidly via social media, warns you not to take a new “very white and shiny” type of paracetamol tablets that are labelled “P/500 “. Supposedly, doctors have found that this type of paracetamol contains the “Machupo” virus. According to the message, Machupo is one of the most dangerous viruses in the world and has a high mortality rate. The message asks you to share the information with others in the hope of saving lives.
Thankfully, however, the claims in the message are utter nonsense.
There are no credible news or health authority reports about such a paracetamol contamination.  Nor have there been any official recalls of the supposedly contaminated medication. Of course, if the dangerous contamination described in the message was really taking place, there would be widespread news and media coverage of the incident along with official health warnings to consumers. And, of course, any contaminated products would have been removed from store shelves as the result of an official recall. The complete absence of any official news or government reports about the alleged contamination is enough, of itself, to reveal the warning message as a hoax.
Moreover, the Machupo virus is spread primarily via aerosol transmission of dust particles from the faeces and urine of infected rodents. And, although viruses like Machupo may survive for up to two weeks in blood specimens outside the host, it cannot survive in dry environments. Thus, it would seem extremely unlikely that the virus could somehow survive the manufacturing process of the paracetamol tablets and weeks or months of subsequent storage in shops and home medicine cabinets.
If the claims in the message were true, then, presumably, there would have been a recent spike in reported cases.  But, I could find no information about such a spike. In fact, it appears that there have been no reported human cases for several years.
In short, this supposed warning is just one more variant in a long line of false and misleading contamination hoaxes that have circulated the Internet in various forms for many years. Sharing these false messages helps nobody. Sharing serves only to spread misinformation and needlessly cause fear and alarm.

A kindergarten teacher in Washington state has decided not to let her boy students play with Legos in the classroom, while the girls are encouraged to use them.
Karen Keller, a teacher at Blakely Elementary in Bainbridge Island, Washington, has decided to engage in her own classroom experiment of sorts, attempting to achieve what she calls “gender equity.” Keller noticed that during the 40-minute free play time in the classroom, the boys naturally gravitated toward Legos, building blocks, and other STEM-related toys while the girls wanted to play with dolls and crayons.
“I just feel like we are still so far behind in promoting gender equity,” Keller told theBainbridge Island Review.
Worrying that the girls would be at a disadvantage later on in life, Keller was determined to make sure the girls in her classroom got their fair share — and then some —  of toys linked to improving spatial and math skills. At first, she bought pink and purple Legos in an attempt to persuade the girls to play with them, but they still didn’t show interest in the blocks.
Instead of letting it go, Keller kept at it. She was issued school grant money to use for brand new Lego Education Community Starter Kits, and she bought three of them for different classrooms at the school. She also decided to start a “girls only Legos club” to encourage the girls to play with the building blocks and keep the boys away from them.
Keller admitted she even goes so far as to lie to her boy students when they ask to play with Legos, telling them they’ll get a turn later even though she has no intention of doing so.
“I always tell the boys, ‘You’re going to have a turn,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, when hell freezes over’ in my head,” she said. “I tell them, ‘You’ll have a turn’ because I don’t want them to feel bad.”
“Boys get ongoing practice and girls are shut out of those activities, which just kills me. Until girls get it into their system that building is cool, building is ‘what I want to do,’ I want to protect that.” Keller added.
Keller isn’t concerned with the backlash she will likely receive from parents, because she wholeheartedly believes she is doing what is fair and that her students understand that the term “fair” comes in different shapes and sizes for different people.
“Fair is getting what you need to succeed or to get better,” she said.
TheBlaze reached out to Keller for comment but she did not respond to the request.
