A 21-year-old illegal immigrant from India who crossed the southern border in 2022 and was released by the Biden administration is now accused of causing a fiery semi-truck crash that killed three people in Southern California, multiple federal law enforcement sources tell Fox News.
According to federal sources, the suspect, identified as Jashanpreet Singh, was first encountered by Border Patrol agents in California’s El Centro Sector in March 2022, and released into the interior of the country pending an immigration hearing.
Singh has now been arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after plowing his big rig into slow-moving traffic on the I-10 Freeway in San Bernardino County. — FoxNews
Here’s the driver’s dashcam footage. Notice the e cars he mows down before hitting another vehicle as large as his own are immediately engulfed in flames… and he still continues rolling ever after the 4th collision.
We keep hearing the Dems assuring us that immigration enforcement is evil, that most of the people who came in are decent, hardworking folks who came here for a better life.
Yeah, well. How many stories like this one do we need to see, where unsuspecting commuters die violently because foreign drivers (many of whom have dubious English language proficiency on top of any other questions about immigration and driving credentials) are unfamiliar with American highway standards for passenger vehicles, let alone for the expectations of long-haul truckers.
It’s easy to take for granted American prohibitions on driving while intoxicated are shared by other countries around the world. But a quick look at how many of the Tom Homan deportees have DUI on their list of infractions tells you that assumption is not based in reality.
The harm done to a family when a man, woman, or child is ripped out of their lives by serial offender drunk driver is no less of a horror to those who endure it than a hardened criminal shooting into a crowd.
It’s time Dems had a reckoning with the real-life impacts of their own policies.
Will it take the son or daughter of a Blue-state Senator or a Governor being among the named victims in a crash like this before the harm of looking the other way is greater than the political gain they think the party can achieve?
Or has the body count finally hit a threshold that even Dems can agree that federal law enforcement is doing the right thing by taking these dangerously unqualified truckers off the highway and (where applicable) sending them on the first plane back to wherever they came from?
