Obama’s Disgraceful Departure

Although President Barack Obama acted friendly toward Donald Trump, aiding him in the transition and meeting with him, behind the scenes he left Trump with a number of policy landmines that our new President must confront as he pursues his agenda.
“We didn’t discuss the negative, we only discussed the future and the positive. And we really get along well. Now again, he may say differently, but I don’t think he would,” said Trump, according to The Hill. He told the press that he received a “beautiful letter” from Obama upon taking office.
No matter how friendly he may have appeared in person, President Obama signaled that he would stand up to Trump if the latter engaged in certain policies. “There’s a difference between that normal functioning of politics and certain issues or certain moments where I think our core values may be at stake,” said Obama. Those core values included “systematic discrimination,” rounding up DREAMers, and silencing “dissent or the press.” All of that sounds quite reasonable.
Yet Obama had already done much behind the scenes to embarrass Trump and put up obstacles in his way. In a last-ditch effort to derail the agenda of incoming President-elect Trump, President Obama issued an edict preventing future gas drilling in our oceans and dismantled a registry designed to stop potential terrorists from entering the United States. His actions were calculated to raise the potential for future protest against Trump’s policies. Otherwise, why didn’t President Obama act on these policies sooner?
These policies were deliberately designed to cause trouble for the incoming president.
“In his enviro-extremism, President Obama is attempting to tie President-elect Trump’s hands by blocking vast swaths of the Arctic Ocean and stretches of the Atlantic from oil and natural-gas drilling,” noted Andy McCarthy for PJ Media in December. “The gambit…is part of an eleventh-hour wave by which Obama is flooding the regulatory zone: Promulgating so many rules—of the unpopular, hard-left variety that Democrats dare not unveil before Election Days—that he hopes the Trump administration will find it too cumbersome to undo all of them.”
Obama likely didn’t try to prevent this type of drilling earlier because he knew that Democrats would have faced a referendum on his controversial policies when they ran for re-election. But when Obama became a lame duck, and the Democrats had already lost the House and Senate, there was little left to prevent him from taking extreme action.
“See, the anti-drilling edict was not issued as a rule,” wrote McCarthy. “Obama’s lawyers combed the statute books and found a stray sentence in the 1953 Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act…” By basing this new policy on a statute, Obama hoped that it will be more difficult for Trump to overturn.
After all, it could also become a public relations nightmare for Trump to be cast early in his first term as anti-wilderness and anti-environmentalist, promoting drilling in the pristine Arctic and Atlantic.
One of Trump’s campaign promises was to stop immigration from dangerous parts of the world. In advance of Trump’s reexamination of our immigration system, The New York Times reported that President Obama was “dismantling” a “dormant national registry program” which gave additional scrutiny to persons from countries with high levels of terror.
The Times admitted in December that this was an attempt by Obama and his cohorts to “prevent, or at least slow, what Democrats fear may be a swift rollback of President Obama’s efforts on immigration and climate change.”
A draft of an executive order by Trump indicates that he will temporarily stop immigration from “seven Muslim majority countries: Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and Iran,” reported Politico on January 25.
“Some people could get in, Trump suggested, but only after what he called ‘extreme vetting,’” reports USA Today.
Does this count as the “systematic discrimination” that Obama warned would prompt him to action? To many people this is basic, common sense.
The dismantling of this registry system was another blatant effort to stop Trump even before he took office. “Since the most controversial part of the Bush administration’s registration effort was abandoned in December 2003, the Obama team’s move to dismantle the regulations [of the Nseers program] is largely symbolic,” reported Politico.
But what these news outlets failed to mention is that the so-called Nseers program was very successful. The program “stopped at least 330 known foreign criminals and three known terrorists who had attempted to come into the country at certain official ports of entry,” wrote Michelle Malkin in 2013. “But grievance-mongering identity groups and the American Civil Liberties Union could not stand the idea of an effective national security profiling database.”
Also, just “hours” before he left office, President Obama “released $221 million to the Palestinian Authority,” reported the Associated Press. As of January 25, this action was frozen and under review by the Trump administration.
Obama had released the money over the objections, and Congressional hold, of Republicans. “Republicans have increasingly called for blocking or canceling funding to the Palestinian Authority, not only because of unilateral diplomatic moves toward statehood, but also because of increasing evidence that funds are used to incite violence and provide financial rewards to terrorists,” reported Breitbart.
In December, the Obama administration chose to abstain from a UN Resolution condemning Israeli settlements as illegal, allowing it to pass. Alan Dershowitz, who had voted for and supported Obama throughout his presidency, said that Obama was “stabbing Israel in the back,” and would go down in history “as one of the worst foreign policy presidents ever.”
Obama’s ongoing antipathy toward Israel, and his attempts to bind the hands of Trump, create a stark contrast between the current and former presidents. In essence, Obama is forcing Trump to break continuity with the former administration in order to fulfill his campaign promises. Only time will tell whether Trump will look better or worse because of Obama’s many landmines.
Little could accentuate the difference between Obama and Trump than one of the former’s commutations. Trump has signaled his desire to build a border wall and decrease crime from illegal immigrants. Obama, instead, commuted the life sentences of four Mexican cartel leaders. “Four family members who ran one of the largest cartel smuggling operations in south Texas had their life in prison sentences commuted and will likely be returning to this border city from where they ran their criminal empire,” writes Breitbart. “They ran a criminal organization made up of close to 80 men and women who worked with Mexico’s Gulf Cartel to move between 100,000 to almost 750,000 pounds of marijuana into the U.S. during a 10-year period.”
One more thing: Does anyone believe that if Hillary Clinton had won the election in November, Obama would have expelled 35 Russian diplomats, opened an investigation into FBI Director James Comey, and opened another investigation into Russia’s hacking?
All of these actions have one thing in common. President Obama waited until the elections were over and he was walking out the door. No profile in courage here.
The media continue to give Obama a pass, highlighting and even manufacturing his policy successes while ignoring his many scandals. While the outgoing president encouraged the press to hold Trump “accountable,” they failed, utterly, to hold Obama accountable. They were much more concerned with protecting his legacy. In contrast, the media’s long knives are out for Trump, and they have been since Election Day.

Ohio State University Features Black Communist

Donald Trump’s adviser Stephen K. Bannon told the truth, but not the whole truth, when he described the media as the main opposition to President Trump. He neglected to mention academia as another important bastion for anti-Trump organizing and action.
Speaking at the January 21 so-called Women’s March on Washington, communist Angela Davis declared, “The next 1,459 days of the Trump administration will be 1,459 days of resistance: resistance on the ground, resistance in the classrooms, resistance on the job, resistance in our art and in our music.”
(Our media somehow overlooked the significance of Davis, a life-long unrepentant communist, as a speaker and co-chair of the event.)
The phrase “resistance in the classrooms” has a lot of meaning, since Davis is a former professor in the “History of Consciousness Department” at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She is now a popular speaker on college campuses.
On Tuesday night, the publicly-funded Ohio State University (OSU) hosted a Davis speech at an event sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center.
As part of a campus debate, the Davis appearance might be justified. Instead, her philosophy of communism was presented as the sole truth for students and young people. It had the approval of black organizations on campus.
Davis was advertised as merely a “political activist, academic scholar and author.” What makes Davis unique is her dedication for decades to the communist philosophy that ruled the Soviet Union and its client states. Davis even traveled to East Germany during the time of the Berlin Wall and had a friendly meeting with East German communist dictator Eric Honecker.
Her receipt of the Lenin Peace Prize in Moscow was recorded in an Associated Press video that is now posted on YouTube. You can see Davis hug a Soviet official and pay tribute to the Soviet revolution, with a bust of Lenin in the background. Davis showed her subservience to the Soviet Union by running as the vice-presidential candidate on the Communist Party USA ticket. The party was funded and controlled by Moscow.
Lawrence Williamson, director of the Hale Center at OSU, was quoted as saying that Davis was chosen as this year’s speaker because she demonstrates Martin Luther King’s dream “in a way younger generations can relate to.”
Hence, young blacks are being told that obedience to Moscow was a way to get ahead in life and a positive contribution to humanity’s progress.
Davis was even an associate of Jim Jones, the religious cult leader who led his followers in a mass suicide and left his estate to the Communist Party.
Since the demise of the old Soviet Union, Davis has been calling herself a “democratic socialist” and trying to appear mainstream.
With the support of George Soros and his money, she started the group Critical Resistance, in order to agitate among prisoners, seek abolition of the death penalty, and even to abolish prisons. She is a lesbian and a vegan, with the cause of animal rights as her latest crusade. She also speaks more and more about “Justice for Palestine,” which is usually code for the destruction of Israel.
Davis is leaving the OSU campus for a Saturday February 4 event at my alma mater, the University of Toledo (UT). Again, the campus office of diversity and inclusion is the sponsor. And again, the Davis speech is being presented as the ultimate truth, with no opposing view.
I have informed the UT President in a letter that, as an alumnus, I object to this one-sided presentation.
It is hard to keep up with Davis, whose appearances around the country are numerous. She was recently at an event sponsored by the Mid-South Peace and Justice Center in Memphis, Tennessee, and spokeabout how Trump is “trying to make America white again,” but will not be able to “govern comfortably” because of protests against him.
With these remarks, Davis betrays the real purpose of the Marxist assault on America. The objective is to subvert the European-American roots of America’s cultural strength by deriding traditional values as “white supremacy.”
A one-time puppet of Moscow, she is now an advocate of Cultural Marxism, having learned communist tactics under Frankfurt School Professor Herbert Marcuse, who made Brandeis University into what critics called a “School for Terrorists.”  The school produced female terrorists for the Weather Underground and the Islamic Jihad.
Estimates of Davis’ fee in the past have been around $20,000 a speech. When she speaks on state-funded college campuses, of course, those fees are paid for with student and taxpayer money.
No wonder students are going into debt to obtain useless degrees.
Although college administrators are rolling out the red carpet for Davis at OSU and UT, Trump won Ohio over Democrat Hillary Clinton by 52 percent to 43.5 percent, “the widest margin of victory for a presidential candidate in Ohio since 1988,” according to the Toledo Blade newspaper.
Being a featured speaker at Ohio State, one of the largest universities in the nation, is a major advance for the anti-Trump forces in academia. Her promised “resistance in the classrooms” can only grow, as long as lawmakers continue to permit state-funded institutions of higher learning to sponsor campus brainwashing sessions featuring Marxists like Davis.

5 Biggest Temple Stories of Year Prove Third Temple is Closer Than Ever as Yom Kippur Approaches

5 Biggest Temple Stories of Year Prove Third Temple is Closer Than Ever as Yom Kippur Approaches

“Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Hashem.” Leviticus 23:27 (The Israel Bible™)
While today, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, means long hours of intense prayer, the modern holiday service is really a stand-in for Biblical sacrifices performed by the High Priest as he entered the Holy of Holies in the Temple in order to beg forgiveness for the Jewish people. While the Temple was standing, thousands would gather to witness the holy offerings and pray for atonement. Though the Temple was not built this year, many significant events have brought us closer than ever before to its prophesied rebuilding, and all over the world, Jews are praying that this time next year, the Yom Kippur service will take place in the Third Temple!

In preparation for the High Holidays, the nascent Sanhedrin selected Rabbi Meir Kahane in August to perform the function of the High Priest, should the need arise. Rabbi Kahane has led many reenactments of the Temple Service, and is prepared to perform the service. If a Yom Kippur service is performed on the Temple Mount this year, Rabbi Kahane will not be acting alone. The Temple Institute has initiated a registry of Kohanim (priests) and an institute to educate them, bringing us closer than ever to actualizing our 2,000-year-old dream.

2. Lost Stone From High Priest’s Prophetic Breastplate Thought Found After Incredible Journey

In a remarkable journey that took 1,100 years, a sardonyx was rediscovered in September that many experts believe is actually from the High Priest’s breastplate. The engraving of a Hebrew letter ‘bet’ floats below the surface and has baffled scientists, who have no idea how the engraving came to be. The stone was acquired in Jerusalem in 1189 by a French Templar Knight and was passed down from generation to generation. It has finally resurfaced, and a group of businessmen is working to bring it back home to Jerusalem.

A new attraction at the Kotel Plaza has Temple-minded tourists going wild. A project from The Temple Mount Heritage Foundation and ArchTour opened September 19, recreating the Second Temple in a virtual reality 3-D experience. The virtual tour begins in the Old City marketplace, entering the Temple courtyard through the southern gate, and brings the visitor right into the Temple, where he witnesses the Temple service, up-close and firsthand.

4. Sanhedrin Revives 2,000-Year-Old Blessing for Counting of Jubilee Year

The nascent Sanhedrin jump-started the Torah commandment of counting the 50-year Jubilee cycle as Rosh Hashana went out last year. Not only did this give Jews an opportunity to perform an additional Torah mitzvah, but it officially marked the third arrival of the Jews in the Promised Land. The Sanhedrin counted the first year in a closed room with only a few people to witness it. This year, this special Torah commandment was performed by thousands of Jews, as they marked the second year of the 50-year cycle with its proper blessing, not heard for over 2,000 years.

5. For First Time EVER, Undeniable Evidence of Jewish Temple Discovered [PHOTOS]

A group of archaeologists and volunteers pieced together spectacular marble tiles from the Second Temple courtyard, giving incontrovertible proof that the Temple Mount was home to the Jewish Temples. The tiles were found in piles of refuse taken from the Temple Mount during illegal construction by the Waqf (Muslim Authority). A group of archaeologists and volunteers dedicated themselves to saving the irreplaceable artifacts endangered by the intentionally reckless actions of the Waqf. In September, they completed the painstaking process of piecing together the tile fragments. The result: a glimpse of the glory that once was the Temple.
