I know I am a sinner. I pray that you will forgive me for all of my sins, that you will come into my heart and be my Lord, the savior of my life. I confess that you died on the cross to save me from my sins and I am committed to turning away from those sins. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can be born again. I ask that you give me the strength and abundant faith to overcome any and all attacks by the enemy, including my desire to sin so that I may serve you completely. 

I pray that you will give me discernment so that I may know all things that are truth, and the knowledge acquired from reading your Word. Use me this day as I am a willing vessel Lord, in leading others to your kingdom. Wash me as white as snow. Put a hedge of protection around me as I go forth in doing your will. Thank you Jesus for saving me, as I know that only through my faith in you that all this is possible. Amen

Dairy Items Recalled Over Listeria Concerns

(LibertyInsider.org) – The FDA has added more products to an existing warning about a longstanding listeria outbreak linked to certain dairy items, including cheese, yogurt, and sour cream. According to a notice issued on February 13, a CDC investigation found evidence connecting products manufactured by Rizo-López Foods, Inc. in California to cases of illness dating back to 2014.

The manufacturer initiated a voluntary recall on February 6 in response to the Center’s findings. The recall involves various dairy products sold under a long list of brands at several major retailers, including Costco, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s, as well as smaller stores in at least 11 different states. Some of the contaminated items may have also been used in unlabeled prepared foods, such as meals, taco kits, and wraps.

A full list of affected brands is available on the FDA’s website and within a recent press release published by Rizo-López Foods, Inc. Several of the most commonly known labels include Dole, Fresh Express, H-E-B, Marketside (Walmart’s brand), Ready Pac Bistro, Trader Joe’s, and 365 by Whole Foods Market.

Consumers are advised to carefully check the FDA notice to identify whether any of the dairy products in their possession fall are affected. The agency has provided helpful details to guide the process, including images of product packaging, descriptions of recalled items, package sizes, and UPC codes.

You can also contact Rizo-López Foods, Inc. directly at 1-833-296-2233 for more information or to get guidance on products you have at home. Both the manufacturer and the FDA are advising consumers not to eat or use the affected items. Dispose of them promptly instead.

Public health officials say that at least two people have died, and another 26 became ill as a result of the suspected listeria outbreak. Each of the cases recorded occurred between June 15, 2014, and December 10, 2023.

Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in certain patient populations, including young children, adults over the age of 65, and the immunocompromised. Symptoms may include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. It may also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

It’s important to note that signs of a listeria infection do not always manifest right away. According to the CDC, symptoms can emerge anywhere from 2 to 10 weeks after exposure. If you suspect that you or a loved one may be infected, seek medical attention.

Maggots In Delta Airlines Overhead Compartment Fall On Passengers

Passengers aboard Delta Airlines recently showered with maggots upon falling from the plane’s overhead compartment.

The bugs contained infested fish that a passenger had stored in their carry-on luggage, according to The Independent.

In a since-deleted post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a user named Kelce wrote, “Really lovely to be 2 hours into an 8 hour @Delta to Amsterdam and find out there is rotten fish and maggots hitching a ride with us.”

Considering the incident, the Delta Airlines flight was forced to reroute to Europe, according to the New York Post.

The X user called Kelce told the Daily Mail that the passenger responsible for inserting infected fish into his suitcase was detained by authorities. The luggage is set to be burned.

The incident garnered the attention of a Reddit page dedicated to Delta Airlines, with commentators claiming they witnessed what happened.

“My family and I were in the row directly in front of the maggots. The lady right behind us told the flight attendants the maggots were falling on her head,” one of the alleged passengers wrote. “Ugh. I turned around and they were wiggling around on the seat.”

“They moved us further in front though. One of our carry-on bags was right nearby the disgusting one so at the end of the flight when I went to get it after checking it over thoroughly, the passenger in question was still sitting there and didn’t exit the plane,” the individual added. “Some kind of consequences but unclear what.”

The Daily Mail noted that Delta’s Air policy allows food as a carry-on, with such an action not considered dangerous by the airline.

The recent incident is not the first time such a matter has occurred aboard a Delta flight.

In January 2024, passengers aboard the airline after a fellow traveler failed to make it to the bathroom on time, leaving human feces on the flight.

On Reddit, a user explained that they were traveling on an early morning Delta flight from Birmingham, Alabama, to Atlanta, Georgia, when their eight-year-old daughter began complaining of a “terrible” smell on board.
