GOP Leader Introduces Bombshell Border Bill – It’s a Perfect $4B ‘Thank You’ for Texas

Since Joe Biden entered office, millions of migrants have illegally entered the U.S. Republicans have accused Biden of deliberately letting the border get overwhelmed by migrants. And despite years of complaints and warnings, his DHS is ignoring the crisis.
It has been left to Texas—and Texas alone—to stop the massive flow of invaders. Recently, Republican governors from other states have begun to send support.:56
Now, one Republican lawmaker has come up with another way to support the Lone Star State. And he’s introduced legislation that could greatly support its efforts to control the border.
From Fox News:
A GOP House lawmaker has introduced a piece of legislation that aims to reimburse Texas for the nearly $4 billion in expenses it incurred to secure the southern border in recent years.Titled the “Operation Lone Star Reimbursement Act,” the measure was introduced Thursday evening by Texas Republican Rep. Roger Williams and would, if successful, reimburse the state for the combined $3,726,400,000 it spent on activities related to securing the southern border from 2020 through 2023.
Rep. Roger Williams has introduced a bill that would reimburse Texas for the massive expense it has incurred defending the border. The bill would provide $4 billion in funds to cover the work Texas has put in to stop migrants from entering.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has called up the Texas National Guard to defend the border. He has erected barriers, walls, razor wire, and other measures to stop migrants from entering. The guardsmen have seized parks and other common entry points, denying even federal officials from entering.
From all appearances, Biden’s administration is working against Texas. They have cut down wire and escorted migrants into the country. Biden’s DHS and Border Patrol are processing migrants and releasing them into the country—instead of deporting them.
Only Texas seems to be trying to discourage illegal immigration. It has been moderately successful, but migrants continue to come in through Arizona (which has a liberal governor) and California.
Without federal support, the border will remain under siege. Millions of migrants have come through, with perhaps millions more just in this year alone.
Key Takeaways:
- A Republican congressman wants to reimburse Texas for defending the border.
- His bill would provide $4 billion to cover Texas’s expenses in fighting the border crisis.
- The White House has refused to address the border crisis, as millions illegally enter.

California Continues Big Spending On Unpopular EV Infrastructure..Yet, this massive financial commitment comes when EV sales in California have experienced a downturn, with a 10% drop in the last quarter of 2023 alone.
California Continues Big Spending On Unpopular EV Infrastructure

The plan, approved by the California Energy Commission (CEC), aims to significantly expand the state’s charging network by adding 40,000 new chargers to the existing infrastructure. This initiative, part of a broader $3.7 billion investment, is designed to pave the way for California’s zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) goals. Yet, this massive financial commitment comes when EV sales in California have experienced a downturn, with a 10% drop in the last quarter of 2023 alone.
Newsom’s vision of a “clean transportation future” is grounded in the belief that over a quarter of new cars sold in the state are electric. This optimism is reflected in the state’s mandate to ban the sale of fossil-fuel vehicles by 2035, requiring ZEVs to constitute 35% of sales by model year 2026. However, with ZEVs currently accounting for 25% of vehicle sales and recent sales trends showing a decline, achieving this target appears increasingly challenging.
Critics argue that the focus on expanding the charging network, while necessary for supporting EV adoption, does not address the underlying issues affecting EV reliability and consumer confidence. Reports highlight that 21% of public EV chargers are non-functional due to various technical problems. EVs have 79% more reliability issues than their gas-powered counterparts.
These factors, combined with the rapid evolution of charging technology that could render newly installed chargers obsolete, raise questions about the efficiency and foresight of the state’s investment.
California, long flush with surplus public funds, faces a $68 billion budget deficit this fiscal year, and concerns are mounting over the state’s fiscal resilience.
Despite these challenges, the state remains committed to its clean transportation goals, with a significant portion of the investment directed to disadvantaged and low-income communities. With EV sales waning and technological advancements in flux, California’s ambitious plans may need reevaluation to align with economic reality and the evolving landscape of electric transportation.

269 Chinese Illegal Immigrants Reportedly Apprehended At US-Mexico Border

Border Patrol agents reported that 269 Chinese illegal immigrants were apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The figure excludes those who managed to evade detainment and enter the U.S.
The Daily Mail reported that Chinese nationals comprise the largest demographic of unlawful migrants trying to pour across the southern border.
Since fiscal year 2024, which began in October 2023, more than 20,000 Chinese unlawful migrants were apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border, marking a stark increase compared to 2021, when such a figure stood at only 342.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox News host Bill Melugin reported on the unlawful Chinese border crossings, writing, “NEW: Per CBP source, Border Patrol’s San Diego sector apprehended 269 Chinese nationals who crossed illegally yesterday.”
“More than 200,000 Chinese nationals have now been encountered by CBP in FY’24 so far.
For perspective, there were only 450 Chinese encountered in all of FY’21,” Melugin added.
The recent development comes after the head of the U.S. Border Patrol warned that his agents are being overwhelmed by the surge in Chinese illegal immigration, fearing that the Biden administration’s watering down of the vetting process could pave the way for communist spies to enter America.
In September 2023, during testimony before the House Homeland Security Committee, Chief Border Patrol Agent Anthony Good of the agency’s El Paso, Texas, Sector told Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) that his agents were “trying their best to figure out why [individuals from other continents are] coming” to the U.S.
Green blamed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for the disaster at the southern border, saying that he has made it “clear to the entire world that our borders are open.”
“While it is true that some individuals may be seeking relief from authoritarian regimes, there is no way for our brave men and women on the frontlines of this crisis to adequately vet all of them before being effectively forced to release them—particularly when countries like China won’t allow us access to their various law enforcement databases,” Green added.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center if you’re looking to spot a UFO Lincoln County in Nevada is the place to be. This area famous for the secretive Area 51 military base topped the charts with the most UFO sightings in the US, recording a whopping 820.9 sightings per 100,000 people from 2000 to 2023.
Not just the West Coast, the East Coast has its own hotspots for UFO enthusiasts. Hamilton County in upstate New York and Dare County in North Carolina have seen their fair share of mysterious aerial activity, with 451.9 and 371.4 sightings per 100,000 residents, respectively.
Two of the most intriguing sightings in 2023 included a mysterious glowing object over Forney, Texas, and a pair of spherical metal objects racing through the sky near Arches National Park in Utah. The Texas sighting had a local stunned, exclaiming in a video, “That is not a motherf–ing airplane!” Meanwhile, the Utah encounter looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
Christian Stepien from the Center thinks these sightings are worth more attention from the government. He believes the Texas and Utah videos show something truly unusual, especially the V-shaped craft seen in Texas.
The Pentagon is also stepping up its game launching a new portal for service members and others to report UFO sightings. This effort aims to gather more info for a big report to Congress by June 2024.
Last year the Pentagon looked into nearly 300 UFO or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena [UAP] as they’re calling them now, sightings. Some of these flying objects had abilities that raised eyebrows, like zooming at high speeds or moving in ways that just don’t make sense. So far none of these sightings have been linked to any foreign activities.
Kroger Faces Lawsuit Over Role in Opioid Crisis; claiming that each of its pharmacies fueled the state’s opioid addiction crisis.
Kroger Faces Lawsuit Over Role in Opioid Crisis

(WatchDogReport.org) – Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman initiated legal action on February 12 against Kroger Co., claiming that each of its pharmacies fueled the state’s opioid addiction crisis. The lawsuit against one of the most famous grocery chains in the country says that more than 100 pharmacies were directly responsible for over 11 percent of every single opioid pill dispensed in Kentucky between the years 2006 and 2019. The suit added it amounted to hundreds of millions of doses that “inundated” numerous communities in the state without any reasonable safeguard.
In a statement, Coleman claimed that Kroger is guilty of flooding Kentucky with opioid pills that eventually lead to death, pain, and addiction. The state attorney general also said that the company did it for “more than a decade,” claiming that it should be held responsible.
The lawsuit, which was filed in Shepherdsville’s Bullitt County Circuit Court, seeks civil penalties of $2,000 against Kroger for every alleged willful violation of the state’s Consumer Protection Act. According to some reports, officials of the grocery chain have refused to respond to numerous emails seeking comments on the matter.
Over the last few years, Kentucky has been one of the most affected areas in the United States by the overdose crisis, with over 2,000 fatalities in 2022. Numerous Kentucky attorneys general from both political parties have pursued legal actions against companies that distribute or make opioid-based medication.
Coleman’s lawsuit claims that Kroger failed to apply monitoring programs to stop suspicious opioid orders in the so-called Bluegrass State. In his suit, Coleman argued that Kroger made these “highly addictive” and “dangerous” substances “too accessible” for the public.
The attorney general’s office said in a statement that, as a dispenser and distributor, the company had full access to real-time data that revealed unusual prescribing patterns. Coleman’s office also stated that, despite these “red flags,” the grocery chain didn’t report any single suspicious prescription in the state between the years 2007 and 2014.
