Dear LifeNews Readers,

Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, over 65 million babies have lost their lives to abortion in the United States alone. That number is staggering—it represents generations of dreams, potential, and hope extinguished before they could even take their first breath.

But today, we have the chance to change this tragic reality and fight for life. Together, we can be the voice for the voiceless and save countless lives from becoming part of this heartbreaking statistic.

Every day, over 2,300 babies lose their lives to abortion in America. That’s more than 2,300 unique lives with a heartbeat, fingerprints, and unlimited potential that are gone forever. But the good news is that we don’t have to accept this loss as inevitable.

With your support, LifeNews can reach people with the hope they need to choose life.

Each dollar you give to LifeNews goes directly toward saving lives.

Imagine a world where every life is valued, where mothers and their babies thrive, and where the culture of death is replaced with a culture of life. That world begins with us, here and now.

Your gift, whether it’s $25, $100, or more, plays a vital role in building that future. For every life saved, we take a step closer to ensuring that no more children become part of that devastating 65 million statistic. Together, we can turn the tide and create a legacy of life and hope for generations to come.

Today, I’m asking you to join us in this fight for life. Can we count on your support to ensure that no more babies are lost to abortion?

Trump gives DEI staffers orders to exit by EOD Wednesday, merit-based hiring resumes immediately January 22, 2025 | Vivek Saxena | Print Article

Trump gives DEI staffers orders to exit by EOD Wednesday, merit-based hiring resumes immediately

With President Donald Trump now in office, so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is quickly and rightly being excised from every part of the federal government.

It started on Monday when the president signed an executive order to end DEI efforts across the federal workforce.

On Tuesday the president doubled down with a new executive order directing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to “return to non-discriminatory, merit-based hiring” and eliminate DEI initiatives.

“I hereby order the Secretary of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administrator to immediately return to non-discriminatory, merit-based hiring, as required by law,” the order reads.

“All so-called DEI initiatives, including all dangerous preferencing policies or practices, shall immediately be rescinded in favor of hiring, promoting, and otherwise treating employees on the basis of individual capability, competence, achievement, and dedication,” it continues.

“Illegal and discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring, including on the basis of race, sex, disability, or any other criteria other than the safety of airline passengers and overall job excellence, competency, and qualification, harms all Americans, who deserve to fly with confidence,” it concludes.

Also on Tuesday, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) directed the heads of major federal government departments and agencies to place all DEI staff on leave by Wednesday evening.

OPM also directed agencies to delete any DEI-related websites and social media accounts and to cancel any DEI-related training sessions.

One of the first “casualties” of the federal DEI purge was the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, Linda Fagan, who was fired on Tuesday for focusing too much on DEI and not enough on doing her job.

Speaking with CNN, a Department of Homeland Security official confirmed that she was ousted over her “leadership deficiencies” and glaring “operational failures.”

Citing specific examples, the DHS official pointed to her “failure to address border security threats” and “excessive focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.”

“Additionally, the official said the Coast Guard suffered ‘significant shortfalls in recruiting personnel’ under Fagan’s leadership,” according to CNN.

The public meanwhile has been celebrating the long-awaited elimination of DEI from the federal government.

The problem with DEI is it attempts to make up for PAST discrimination against blacks by applying modern discrimination against everybody else. For example, DEI goes hand in hand with affirmative action, a policy that calls for purposefully discriminating against Asians and whites to artificially prop black people up above everybody else.

Critics say DEI is therefore nothing more than a new form of racism and discrimination.
