Gov Abbot Latest Policy Proclamation Opens New Toolbox In Fighting Radical Islam

Will other states follow Texas's lead?

And before anyone calls it ‘Islamophobia’, several Arab nations have long since taken this same step.

Ironically, the same organization largely responsible for the term ‘Islamophobia’ being popularized (weaponized?) in Western political culture happens to be at the center of this story.

Governor Abbott has obviously taken a look at the cultural impact certain strains of Islam have had not only in the rapid colonialization of Europe as a direct consequence of the mass migration that became such a central issue to European politics about a decade ago, but at the radical change in places like Michigan or Minnesota where critical masses of cultures have arisen whose belief system are explicitly antithetical to the central tenets on which this nation were built.

Abbott has officially designated both CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist and Transnational Terrorist organizations. In Abbot’s own words, ‘this blocks them from buying or acquiring land in Texas & strengthens enforcement to protect Texans.’

Why is this a relevant and important step?

Maybe this will help with context:

Despite being the ‘good guys’, CAIR has been connected to some of violent campus insurgencies post-10/7, funding violent insurgencies here in America:

Anti-Israel agitators who spread disruption at US colleges and were punished by authorities were awarded checks for $1,000 by a Muslim nonprofit, The Post has learned.

The money was given to students who faced penalties for leading pro-Palestinian protests before and after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 2023, according to a bombshell report by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and the Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN).

The cash was awarded from a “Champions of Justice Fund,” set up by the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) as “institutional endorsement,” the report claims.

In California, the largest arm of the CAIR web of nonprofits, affiliates in San Francisco and Los Angeles raised more than $100,000 in donations for campus radicals, while the main group solicited $64,000 in donations, records show. — NYPost

Not quite as on-the-nose as pay-to-slay stipends given by Hamas for the killing of Israelis, but it’s in the ballpark.

Some of our readers will remember this story from not that long ago…

For all the various cultures that come to America because they see the country as one of great opportunity and freedom with a system that welcomes anyone who shows up in good faith? America embraces them.

But those who arrive in America, with an intention of bending it to the will of their culture and their religion?

If you want such a country that operates under such rules, there are dozens to choose from. But this is America… and a Sharia law that diminishes the rights of a woman to act as a witness in court, or allows a husband to beat his wife ‘lightly’, or lawfully marry any girl old enough to have begun puberty, or that non-muslims have to pay an additional tax and accept inferior status as citizens, with restrictions on worship?

No thanks.
