Evil: Hamas Gave Freed Hostages an Absolutely Sick Parting 'Gift Bag' They Will Never Forget

Just a reminder: A cease-fire agreement doesn’t make Hamas any less evil, even if they’re releasing hostages.

After a hold-up on Sunday, the fragile agreement ending the 15-month Israel-Hamas war took effect, with the first group of three hostages taken by the terror group during the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attacks being handed over from their captivity in Gaza.

The three female hostages were 24-year-old Romi Gonen, a waitress who was taken from the music festival the terrorists slaughtered their way through; Doron Steinbrecher, a 31-year-old Israeli-Romanian veterinary nurse taken from her apartment on a kibbutz; and Emily Tehila Damari, a 28-year-old British-Israeli woman taken from the same kibbutz.

“In Tel Aviv, people gathered at a plaza dubbed Hostage Square holding pictures of the three women as they waited for word of their release and watched it live on a large screen. As footage of the women appeared on the screen, many in the crowd began to cry.”

For swapping the three innocent women, 90 Palestinian prisoners were to be released by Israel, just in case you’d forgotten how unbalanced this agreement really was.

And in case you thought the release was any better, consider the “gift bag” the women received as a parting reminder of their captivity.

“Hamas gave the survivors ‘certificates of release,’ and made them pose and smile with them before the women were transferred to Red Cross custody.

“The representatives of the Red Cross that collected the three women signed the documents, as seen in the video.”

The bag included “memoirs” such as a map of the Gaza Strip, photos of them while they were in captivity, and other certificates.

The certificates included a “release decision” inscription.

And that wasn’t the only outrage. Consider the fact that even up to the moment of release, their captors still subjected the women to terror, forcing them to run a gauntlet of minatory pro-Hamas revelers:

And for that act of “diplomacy,” 90 Palestinian prisoners — who generally weren’t just arrested for laughs, mind you — were released.

If you need anything that tells you how poxed this deal is, that’s it. Imagine this being done to your mother, sister, or daughter. You’d demand the barbarians who did it were wiped out. If Hamas isn’t at least removed from power in Gaza permanently and its leaders held to account for their crimes, this cease-fire agreement is clearly doomed from the get-go.

Critical Hack Blamed on Previously Arrested Army Soldier by Mark Megahan January 21, 2025

Critical Hack Blamed on Previously Arrested Army Soldier

Now that the DOJ “has linked the arrest of a serving U.S. Army soldier” in December to a massive hack of AT&T and Verizon last year, FBI rats can breath a little easier. The bureau recently notified them that data which can identify them was loose in the wild. It’s a really good thing President Donald Trump plans to clean out the Pentagon. There have been too many service members accused of serious crimes under the current watch.

Army Soldier linked

When Army soldier Cameron John Wagenius was arrested in December, the feds charged him with “trying to sell confidential phone records of both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

On Friday, January 17, the DOJ linked him to an even bigger breach. A “massive hack of AT&T and Verizon last year.

The phone company compromise is listed as “one of the most wide-reaching attacks of 2024, with more than 160 companies impacted.” The attackers stole “millions of phone records from telecom giants.

Army
An active duty U.S. Army soldier has been linked to the massive hack of AT&T and Verizon last year.

Besides the incoming and outgoing call logs of FBI agents, “victims also included major corporations such as LendingTree, Santander Bank, and Ticketmaster.” Nobody expected one of our Army soldiers to be responsible. Apparently, he has too much time on his hands and not enough supervision. Incoming Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth plans to change that.

The phone companies share some of the blame. An ordinary hacker, even one with Army training, shouldn’t be able to walk right through “weak cybersecurity measures.” The telecom giants made it easy through “the lack of multi-factor authentication.

The soldier and his associates were easily able to “siphon customer and corporate data using stolen passwords infected with malware.” Wagenius was stationed at Fort Cavazos, formerly known as Fort Hood, in Killeen, Texas.

Connected to earlier case

The FBI was already on edge from the “growing list of cybersecurity issues” as hack attacks have become a hobby for opportunistic people with access to computers. There are off the shelf hacking tools freely available with lots of social media instruction videos on how to use them.

Federal officials don’t want to make a big deal of the fact we have criminals in the Army. Especially not after New Year’s Day revealed an ISIS sleeper cell terrorist and a suicidal Green Beret. Both were in the same branch of the service.

As DOJ leadership is about to be replaced with President Trump’s hand picked officials, federal prosecutors announced Wagenius’ involvement with “an earlier case involving two alleged hackers, Connor Moucka and John Binns.

Previously charged with trying to sell confidential phone records of both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

After being arrested for trying to shake down Trump and Kamala Harris, the Army soldier was “later extradited to Washington state.” His alleged co-conspirators “were charged with breaching cloud-computing platform Snowflake, resulting in the theft of sensitive data from numerous corporate clients.

While they’ve probably known about it for a while, “this marks the first time prosecutors have publicly tied Wagenius to the Snowflake data breaches, an attack that compromised sensitive information from over 160 companies.

They didn’t want the world to know he was in the Army when he did it. Security insider and journalist Brian Krebs was way ahead of them. “Krebs reported in November that Wagenius allegedly threatened to release stolen data, including call logs of Vice President Kamala Harris and President-elect Donald Trump if Canadian authorities did not release Moucka.

ICE Arrives for Mass Deportation Round Up by Mark Megahan January 21, 2025 No comments

ICE Arrives for Mass Deportation Round Up

Illegal aliens in Chicago are going frantic, ahead of President Donald Trump’s big swearing in ceremony. He gets inaugurated on Monday, January 20 and they all expect to get deported Tuesday. “Operation Safeguard” kicks off that day and the Windy City has been selected as the starting point.

Chicago deportations first

President Donald Trump’s new Border Czar, Tom Homan decided to start the illegal alien rodeo in Chicago. The big roundup kicks off Tuesday, January 21.

Operation Safeguard” is expected to last through the following Monday. Sources relate that those dates could change but it’s not likely.

Reports note that somewhere “between 150 and 200 Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers” are on their way to Chicago.

Chicago
Operation Safeguard kicks off Tuesday.

Local officials who stand in their way have been warned that they will be arrested for aiding and abetting criminals.

Last month, Homan declared mass deportation efforts will “start right here in Chicago.” the city will be forced to “open the city and its county jail to the will of federal immigration agents,” whether they like it or not.

For now, he’s not providing any details about how he plans to “dismantle local legal barriers.” He has a few ideas.

A sanctuary city

Because Democrat run Chicago considers themselves a “sanctuary city,” police refuse to share information with ICE. They aren’t willing to take it far enough to get themselves arrested, though. They promised Homan they will not intervene “with other government agencies performing their duties.

You bet they won’t Homan chuckles. The mayor might not get it but local cops realize the new administration isn’t playing around.

As the big day approaches fast, “immigration advocates and politicians gathered at a press conference to inform immigrants of their rights.

They have the right to remain silent as they’re dragged off to deportation.

Asylees in the sanctuary of Chicago have the right to ask to see a warrant, which ICE will keep handy to show them. They have the right to remain silent as they’re dragged off to deportation. They can ask for a lawyer but probably won’t get one.

We were expecting this,” complains Eréndira Rendón, the Resurrection Project’s vice president of immigrant justice. Chicago is full of illegal aliens who were here long before Joe Biden took office.

This is a moment to make sure that our communities know what their rights are. I myself, am undocumented. I came to the U.S. when I was four years old to be reunited with my dad, who came when I was a baby.” Which means he had a nice long time to get the paperwork properly completed and blew it off. Hiding in Chicago didn’t help, There’s a seat for him on the bus.

Victory! The Laken Riley Act has passed, marking the end of sanctuary city policies across the United States, and it's a testament to the relentless efforts of patriots like you.
