The number of under-18s in England with a diagnosis of gender dysphoria recorded by a GP has risen 50-fold in the last decade, a study of medical records released Friday details.
The work looked at GP records to shed light on trends in the community over the past 10 years.
The NHS defines gender dysphoria as a term “that describes a sense of unease that a person may have because of a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity.”
It may be so intense it can lead to depression and anxiety and have a harmful impact on daily life.
“What we have is the number of children who’ve ever had a diagnosis of something related to gender dysphoria,” Prof Tim Doran, co-author of the work from the University of York, said.
Writing in the journal Archives of Disease in Childhood, Doran and colleagues describe how they examined data relating to children and young people aged 18 and under attending GP practices in England between 2011 and 2021, encompassing 3,782 individuals with gender dysphoria or similar diagnoses.
The Guardianreports the results of the spread of the disorder:
The results, based on data from about 20% of GP practices, show both the rates of incidence – the number of new cases each year – and the prevalence of such diagnoses rose over the decade.
The prevalence increased from about one in 60,000 in 2011 (equating to 192 children and young people nationally) to about one in 1,200 in 2021 (equating to 10,291 nationally) – more than a fiftyfold increase.
The team said that from 2015, prevalence rose more quickly among children recorded as female on their health records, ending up about twice as high as for recorded males by 2021.
Doran said among 17- and 18-year-olds, the prevalence of gender dysphoria was about one in 238 in 2021.
“[It’s] still really uncommon, but obviously much, much, much more common than it used to be 10 years ago,” he said.
The researchers found both incidence and prevalence rose with children’s age, but there was no link to the level of deprivation in their area.
The team also looked at the prevalence of anxiety, depression and self-harm in children and young people with gender dysphoria.
They found they were on a par with, or even exceeded, levels for children and young people diagnosed with autism or eating disorders – populations known to have high levels of these problems.

Lola Sheen, the youngest daughter of Hollywood stars Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, has accepted Jesus as her savior and been baptized after “hitting rock bottom” in her life.
Lola, 19, told her followers and friends on Instagram that her religious beliefs have made a major difference in her life after she fell into depression in recent years.
“My testimony. When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment where I realized I hit rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day,” Lola wrote in her Instagram post.
“I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again,” she continued.
“Until, I met not only my Savior but my best friend, Jesus. I can’t really explain it other than it was supernatural, but Jesus met me exactly where I was, and He forever became my sun,” she explained.
Lola, whose sister Sami, 20, is famous for her X-rated OnlyFans video not to mention her troubled father, went on, saying, “I began to trust Jesus with my life, when He chose me when no one else did, and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love. He gave me a light, when I couldn’t find my own, and rescued me from the darkness.”
She told her followers that Jesus saved her from “battling severe anxiety” and says that her faith has allowed her to laugh again “in places I only had cried.”
“Jesus fulfilled His promise of making me new, and completely renewed my mind. Jesus is the only reason why I’m here today and made my life worth living,” she testified.
“I am so happy to go into this next year, after publicly declaring Jesus as my Savior. I am forever saved by His grace, through Faith,” she wrote, concluding, “I thank you Jesus for everything, I love you, and I hope you are proud of me.”
The young lady kept the location of her baptism underwraps, but posted many photos of the ceremony.
Lola also told fans that she intends to start a religious podcast and has set up a Youtube channel, called “Heavenly Bonded,” to serve that goal. She has not yet started adding videos, though.
“I have been wanting to share how God has transformed my life for so long, and I’m so happy I’m finally doing so. I can’t wait to see how Jesus uses this podcast, and I couldn’t be more excited. I love you and God loves you more,” the Youtube channel description reads.
Unlike her sister, Sami, who is making tens of thousands a month with her X-rated content on OnlyFans, Lola works a normal job at a restaurant and eschews the spotlight. Her life is quite different than her sister’s and parents.
Dad Charlie is well-known for his wild, drug-fueled, porn star-filled lifestyle. Her sis, of course, has the X-rated Internet site. and even her mother, Denise Richards, joined OnlyFans with the initial intent of posting racy videos with her stripper daughter.
Two former staffers at the far-leftPolitico confirmed what everyone already knew about Politico: it protects Democrats, in this case Joe Biden and his family of gangsters.
Marc Caputo, who currently works for the far-left Axios, and Tara Palmeri, who works at something called Puck, got together for Palmeri’s Somebody’s Gotta Win podcast and to talk about how the general public has lost all trust in the legacy media (as though that’s a bad thing).
But then they did something fairly extraordinary… They dropped the far-leftPolitico in the grease for its key role in interfering in the 2020 election with a fake story about Hunter Biden’s laptop being Russian disinformation.
MARC CAPUTO: Another great example is when Politico did that terrible, ill-fated headline: “51 intelligence agents, or former intelligence agents, say that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation, or bore the hallmarks of disinformation.” Turns out that [the Politico] story was closer to disinformation because the Hunter Biden laptop appeared to be true.
TARA PALMERI: But then Facebook also pulled all stories down about the Hunter Biden laptop, and I think Twitter did at the same time, too.
CAPUTO: Correct, they punished The New York Post, that didn’t help.
That’s just how big of a deal the Politico story was. All of this election interference and censorship was justified by the Politico story and the 51 degenerate liars who have thankfully had their security clearances revoked by President Trump.
The ramifications of the far-leftPolitico doing stenography for the Deep State went far beyond even that. The Deep State’s letter and the Politico story were deliberately timed to drop three days before Biden and then-President Trump met for their second debate on Octrober 22. Everyone knew Biden needed a talking point to dismiss the truth about the laptop and the corruptPolitico was all-too happy to help.
CAPUTO: I mean, Politico, my former employer and I knew at the time, didn’t do itself any favors.”
I disagree. The far-leftPolitico did itself a huge favor. Politico wanted Biden elected and to keep its sources in the Deep State happy. Those Deep State sources are crucial to giving the regime media cover to publish lies under the guise of “unnamed sources say Donald Trump had sex with a giraffe while wearing a Klan hood.”
Now we get to the truly interesting part…
CAPUTO: I was covering Biden at the time, and I remember coming to my editor and saying, ‘Hey, we need to write about the Hunter Biden laptop.’ And I was told this came from on high at Politico: Don’t write about the laptop, don’t talk about the laptop, don’t tweet about the laptop. And the only thing Politico wound up writing was that piece that called it disinformation, which charitably could be called misinformation, at the least.
Palmeri then talks about the hoops she had to jump through to report on Hunter Biden lying on a gun permit and wonders…
PALMERI: I do wonder if it could have, if it would have been published a little quicker if it was a different type of story. It was the beginning of his administration, it was a honeymoon period — you know what I mean?
Trust me, we know what you mean.
CAPUTO: Since we’re spilling tea about our former employer, I still have a copy of the story on my external hard drive. In 2019, a rival presidential Democratic campaign of Joe Biden’s gave to me the tax lien — the oppo research — the tax lien on Hunter Biden for the period of time that he worked at Burisma. And I wrote what would have been a classic story saying, you know, ‘The former vice president’s son was slapped with a big tax lien for the period of time that he worked for this controversial Ukrainian oil concern, or natural gas concern, which is haunting his father on the campaign trail.’ That story was killed by the editors, and they gave no explanation for that either. So that general experience, you know, obviously the public doesn’t know about those things, but as a reporter having witnessed the way in which the two candidates—
Unfortunately, Palmeri cut him off then to criticize the great unwashed public…
PALMERI: We just get called, like, ‘the terrible mainstream media.’ It’s like you don’t understand the process there.
CAPUTO: Well, you also don’t understand the dumb decisions of cowardly editors that are made above us.
Process.
Cowardly.
My ass.
This is naked corruption involving a political publication conspiring with the Deep State to rig a presidential election.
What’s extraordinary is that this conversation occurred in public. The first rule of the degenerate media is that you don’t talk about the degenerate media. It’s also the second and third rule, and it is one that has been so well-enforced, that I cannot remember this ever happening before, and by “this,” I mean former employees exposing an outlet’s left-wing corruption while they still work in the corporate media.

Maybe we are witnessing a whole new era where regime media reporters blast their former employers to pieces in an effort to boost their own credibility and brand with the public. I’m good with that. Or maybe Palmeri and Caputo didn’t expect a few minutes of a full podcast to go viral.
Either way, this is another crystal clear example that proves the legacy media operate exactly how we all know they operate. Add this to the internal texts that prove far-left CNN doesn’t care about facts or truth. It’s all about demonizing and destroying.
If you want a good laugh, the far-leftPoliticoreleased a statement to the far-left Mediaite claiming Caputo and Palmeri got it all wrong. This included links to a couple of stories that supposedly prove Politico was tough on Biden. Well — lol — one story is dated almost a year AFTER the 2020 election and while the second link doesn’t work, the url tells us it linked a story dated eight months BEFORE the election (March 9, 2020).

President Donald Trump announced that he would be deploying the United States Army Corps of Engineers to North Carolina, highlighting how the people in the state need their riverbanks and roads fixed in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s destruction.
During a visit to the state on Friday, Trump admitted that he did not know “what took so long” for the Biden administration to address the destruction that communities in western North Carolina faced due to Hurricane Helene. Trump added that his administration would get them “the resources” they need and the support they deserved.

“We have a lot of things in mind, and we’re getting the Army Corps of Engineers all set,” Trump said. “You need your riverbanks fixed. You need a lot of roads fixed. And, we’re going to get it done in rapid time, and I’ve asked Susie Wiles and all of my people to start calling up. Get the Corps ready and their going to get ready to go. I don’t know what it is, I don’t know what took so long for the other administration.”
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which has roughly “37,000 dedicated Civilians and Soldiers delivering engineering services to customers in more than 130 countries worldwide” works “diligently to strengthen” the security of the U.S. “by building and maintaining America’s infrastructure and providing military facilities where our servicemembers train, work and live,” according to the Army Corps of Engineers website.

According to the Army Corps of Engineers website, “Under the National Response Framework (NRF) and authorities of the Stafford Act; USACE works under the direction of FEMA as a member of the federal team to support State and Local governments in responding to major disasters”:
Each year, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) deploys hundreds of its trained personnel and resources across the United States and its territories to respond to emergencies and aid in disaster response recovery. Under the National Response Framework (NRF) and authorities of the Stafford Act; USACE works under the direction of FEMA as a member of the federal team to support State and Local governments in responding to major disasters. USACE also has its own authority to directly respond to State and Local needs related to flooding or coastal emergencies under Public Law 84-99.”
Trump added that he wasn’t in office “for the first four months or three months, whatever it may be,” and noted that his administration could “only start” as of a few days ago.
“We’re going to get you the resources you need and the support that you deserve. And, we’ll be at your side through every step of the rebuilding and no American is going to be left behind,” Trump added.
Several places in western North Carolina such as, the Village of Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Swannanoa were faced with devastating flooding, severe landslides, and destruction to roads, homes and communities as a result of Hurricane Helene. Other communities in Georgia, Florida, eastern Tennessee, and southwestern Virginia also faced severe flooding and landslides in the mountains.
While the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced in an October press release that it had given “more than $45 million” to Hurricane Helene relief efforts, residents in North Carolina criticized former President Joe Biden and his administration’s response to the hurricane.
Out of the $45 million, “more than $17 million in housing and other types of assistance” was given to over 10,000 households in North Carolina; more than $23 million was given “to more than 4,400 households” in Florida; “over $150,000” was given to survivors in Georgia; “over $4.5 million” was given to more than 5,600 households in South Carolina; and “more than $124,000” was given to survivors in Virginia.
In another press release from October 9, FEMA revealed that “federal disaster assistance for survivors” had surpassed $344 million.
Several residents revealed that they had been left to fend for themselves and had seen no signs of FEMA, while other residents said the Biden administration “took too long” to respond.
During a rally in Kinston, North Carolina, Trump criticized the Biden administration’s response to Hurricane Helene, calling it “a disgrace.”
