LA Fires Show Liberal, Socialist Policies Have Failed—Again

In 1873, President Ulysses S. Grant tasked Colonel B. S. Alexander from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with assessing California’s water supply. Eventually, some 1,200 dams were built to manage what is both vital for California’s farming and the state’s most elusive resource.

However, managing water was only part of the equation that made California habitable and profitable. Aside from water, fire also threatened.

Over the twentieth century, California waged a meticulous war against wildfires, taming nature’s fury. It created land-management agencies to clear excess timber, cultivated fire-resistant forests to withstand the Santa Ana-fueled fires and promoted projects that bolstered mountain economies and public coffers.

Sheep and cattle were brought into public lands, transforming grazing into an unorthodox solution for brush control. Firebreaks were carved into the earth like scars, and robust infrastructure ensured that sparks did not turn into infernos. Back then, politicians took seriously their mandate to act for the common good.

Eternal and Natural Law: The Foundation of Morals and Law

Enter leftist policies. That system is now in disarray.

The four recent fires in Los Angeles have exposed the disastrous consequences of foolish socialist policies and woke priorities.

Despite warnings about the growing risk of wildfires, the region’s leadership has neglected to invest in fire prevention and squandered vital resources, instead promoting LGBTQ+ and environmental initiatives.

Environmental red tape has hamstrung California’s ability to manage its forest floors effectively for years. Regulations intended to preserve the natural ecosystem intact have instead created a disaster waiting to happen. Leaves, debris and dead trees accumulate in the forest floor, providing ample fuel for wildfires when the ferocious Santa Ana winds inevitably arrive.

Proper forest management, including controlled burns and debris clearing, can significantly mitigate the risk of catastrophic fires. The wise use of fire can save California from fire.

However, leftist environmentalists and lawmakers resisted these measures, leaving taxpayers to pay the price when fires strike. Adding insult to injury, Governor Gavin Newsom cut spending on wildfire and forest resilience by $101 million months before the recent fires.

Prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success About Our TimesLearn All About the Prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success About Our Times

Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley harshly criticized city leaders: “Let me be clear. The $17 million budget cut and elimination of our civilian positions like our mechanics did and has and will continue to severely impact our ability to repair our apparatus,” adding that more than 100 fire apparatuses are already out of service.

California’s infrastructure is crumbling under the weight of political theater masquerading as woke progress.

Perhaps the irony of California’s ambition lies in its juxtaposition—a state with the fifth-largest economy in the world cannot protect its citizens while championing environmental and immoral initiatives. Sacrificing the immediate needs of its populace for aspirational, high-profile projects is no longer a mark of vision; it has become a glaring failure of governance.

From forest management and electrical generation to water resources, California needs authentic leaders who will invest in actionable, evidence-based policies rather than pander to woke environmentalists and the Alphabet mob.

The Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth and Hurst fires should serve as a wake-up call for Los Angeles and California. The lives lost, homes incinerated, and communities shattered are not just the result of natural forces; they are the product of deeply-rooted moral failures. Addressing these issues will require a return to order by prioritizing principles in governance over political optics.

10 Razones Por las Cuales el “Matrimonio” Homosexual es DaƱino y tiene que Ser Desaprobado

Governor Newsom laments that the fires are being politicized. Fire is a reality of nature, but a proper response is a deliberate choice. The heartbreaking events in California stem from years of misguided leftist policies crafted by self-serving politicians. Voters have the power to rewrite this narrative by voting out socialist politicians and holding those in charge accountable. The question is, will they act before the next wildfires ignite?

Sorry Biden, The Pro-Lifers You’ve Been Harassing Have Their Lives Back (VIDEO)

23 pro-life protesters just got fantastic news from their president

After 4 years of selective enforcement of the FACE Act (the same legislation that protects pro-life clinics from being, say, firebombed), 21 people can breathe easy.

With the stroke of a pen, Trump gave them their lives back.

Josh Hawley, among others was calling out the hypocrisy of Biden pardoning people locked up for violent crimes, including the 1st degree murder of.2 FBI agents, while letting an 89 year old grandmother — a holocaust survivor — rot in jail.

Biden has made his priorities clear. Lawless acts can be forgiven so long as they align with is politics… and the smallest infractions that conflict with them will be hit with every tool at the government’s disposal.

Trump does not share those priorities. Grandmothers do not need to be thrown in prison cells for singing hymns, especically when they were put there by an administration that openly raised bail money for violent rioters in the middle of a pandemic… and a DOJ that lacked any interest or capacity of prosecuting the desecration of churches and the firebombing of pro-life centers.

That’s how it’s done.

PETE HEGSETH: Newly Sworn In, He’s Already Racked Up His First Big Win

Mutineers take note, Pete isn't playing your games

If the neverTrump ‘resist’ crowd thought they could subvert the agenda in 2025 the way they did in 2017, they’re about to have a rude awakening.

Trump learned a thing or two during his time in the political wilderness. He hasn’t just licked his wounds, he’s some back with a strategy to stick government back in the box it was designed to fit in.

He came back with a mandate and he’s not afraid to implement it. You can see the change in the personnel choices he’s making this time around. He’s getting some absolute door-kickers overseeing departments that have been more than happy to run as rogues… in some cases showing open mutiny against the Commander-in-Chief and back-channeling with hostile nations.

Not this time.

Chain of command. Results. Accountability.

On Friday night, JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote (thanks for nothing ‘leader’ McConnell) that saw Pete Hegseth confirmed as Trump’s SecDef. Right from the beginning, you could see the tone was very different from the Biden days.

(The image is ‘clickable’ if you want to check out what he said.)

Unlike the slacker Hegseth replaced from the Biden days, the guy who went AWOL without so much as notifying his subordinates he was incommunicado, Pete Hegseth didn’t wait until Monday morning to show up for work. For anyone keeping score at home, the 25th was Saturday.

Before the weekend was done, he had already scored his first victory against the would-be mutineers, and set a zero-tolerance expectation for the next 4 years of Trump’s time in office: FAFO.

Here’s how the short-lived mutiny played out.

ACT I: The Lawful Order

ACT II: The Malicious Compliance

The Air Force has removed training courses with videos of its storied Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots, or WASPs — the female World War II pilots who were vital in ferrying warplanes for the military — to comply with the Trump administration’s crackdown on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

The videos were shown to Air Force troops as part of DEI courses they took during basic military training.

In a statement, the Air Force confirmed the courses with those videos had been removed and said it “will fully execute and implement all directives outlined in the Executive Orders issued by the President, ensuring that they are carried out with utmost professionalism, efficiency and in alignment with national security objectives.” — AP

As pointed out by Ron DeSantis, the left has a malicious compliance tactic they like to use when forced to roll yield back any ground they’ve taken. They look for ways to make the conservative’s changes look bigoted or cruel.

The same party that had spent years weaponizing cancel culture to chase everything from To Kill A Mocking Bird, to Huck Finn, to Dr. Seuss out of libraries — and sometimes even off of Amazon selling lists — had the audacity to claim that concerned parents saying school libraries were not an appropriate place for books with graphic sex scenes were some how ‘banning books’. It became an official talking point, and part of the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ criticism of Florida law that forbade introduction of sexual materials or terminology of any sort before third grade.

At no point did either Trump or Hegseth so much as imply that historical units like those mentioned should be struck from teaching. Just like a GOP school curriculum would never dream of omitting the historical importance of slavery in our shared history. But, as you can see by the compliant media who rushed to share this story right after Hegseth was confirmed, there is message coordination on the left between the political class and the journos who act as their megaphones.

ACT III — SecDef Takes Charge

A Senator brought it to his attention…

And Pete responded post-haste.

ACT IV: Brought To Heel

Keen observers will notice that the difference in these 2 time stamps is only 4 hours apart.

It won’t take many examples of public rebuke or dismissal with cause before the rebellion is put down.

It’s amazing how quickly change can happen when the guy in charge isn’t just another Raytheon man, isn’t it?

BOOM: Homan’s Team Busy Taking Dirtbags Off The Streets Througout The Country (VIDEOS)

When leftists clutch their pearls, THESE are the arrests they're objecting to

Once you realize the pinpoint-precision of the arrests and the heinous crimes they’re accused of, the left-wing outrage becomes absolutely indefensible.

This story starts in Chicago, where Dr. Phil is on a ride-along with Tom Homan and his crew. In this clip, (source) he’s talking about the arrest of an illegal with a criminal history of abusing kids, and how Dems like Gov Prisker with their ‘sanctuary city’ policies are making it easier for them to prey on unsuspecting citizens.

Here is the actual arrest (source) of the man they were looking for, with a history of sex offences.

It’s not just Chicago where criminal illegals are feeling the pinch, either.

Here’s the DEA crashing a Tren De Aragua party.

The DEA has been investigating the infamous Tren de Aragua gang’s activity in Colorado since last summer, including infiltrating social media sites where gang members communicate, Pullen said. Members of the gang have been meeting up to party in a makeshift private nightclub, and federal agents have seen their invitations advertising DJs and beer.

About 100 agents raided the club with a federal search warrant about 5 a.m. Sunday when about 50 people were still at the party, Pullen said. They seized four weapons, cash, cocaine and pink cocaine, which is a mix of cocaine and either methamphetamine or ketamine that gang members dye pink, Pullen said.
[,,,] Agents from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as other federal and local authorities, participated in the operation. ICE agents determined that most of the people in the club were illegally in the country, and they were loaded onto a bus and taken to the ICE detention center in Aurora. — Colorado Sun

How can we know if the ICE raids will be having any impact on society more broadly?

We already have some clues…

For readers who like hard figures, we’ve got you covered.

But numbers don’t tell the story nearly as powerfully as snapshots or videos of real-world impact. For example:

Phoenix, with an empty Mexican supermarket.

A family self-deporting back to Mexico to avoid the 20-year visa ban that comes with deportation.

And one that will really blow your mind, also courtesy of the Wall Street Apes account, a look at a popular Mexican shopping district in Los Angeles.

The times they are a-changing.

Giles Volume II The Trump Collection (Doug Giles Art Collection)

This Donald Trump art book is the victory lap that conservatives have been waiting for since 2020. This hard-cover, full-color glossy collection by conservative painter, Doug Giles, will entertain you for hours on end and quickly become a valuable collector’s item as an icon of the MAGA movement.

“I’ve had a blast painting my Trump Collection over the last seven years. Several of these paintings made me laugh so hard that milk came out of my nostrils, and I haven’t had milk for thirty-six years. These epic paintings now reside in bars, hunting camps, man caves, she sheds, trophy rooms, and God and Country MAGA homes from sea to shining
sea.

One word of warning before you purchase this Trump Collection: This book will spawn liberal tears, Marxist rage, and NeoCon hissy fits, of course.

Finally, I hope you thoroughly enjoy this DJT gaggle of my gadfly oil paintings.” God bless, and stay rowdy. Doug Giles
