South America is the new epicenter of COVID-19 (The Coronavirus pandemic). How did South America become the COVID-19 hotspot? Peru, Brazil, and Chile are quickly taking the top spots for most cases of Coronavirus in the world. The region has more than 630,000 cases of COVID, and these are just the confirmed ones. We are two travelers from the United States who have been stuck in Cusco, Peru during the pandemic. We were traveling South America when a strict lockdown hit Peru, and we've been here ever since documenting our daily lives during the COVID-19 Epidemic. The top spots go to Brazil, Peru, and Chile while other South American countries like Ecuador, Bolivia, and Argentina aren't far behind. This is the South America Coronavirus Lockdown Vlog.
