Kash Patel is putting Christopher Wray to shame with this new achievement

There’s a new Sheriff in town – and his name is Kash Patel.
Kash is putting his stamp on the FBI as the agency’s new Director.
And now Patel just passed one milestone that has Christopher Wray hanging his head in shame.
Kash Patel and Dan Bongino give the FBI a makeover
If you could sum up the first 100 days of the second Trump administration in one phrase, it might be, “Out with the old, in with the new.”
That’s certainly the case with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
In February, the U.S. Senate confirmed long-time Trump-loyalist Kash Patel as the new Deputy Director of the FBI via a 51-49 vote.
“Anyone that wishes to do harm to our way of life and our citizens, here or abroad, will face the full wrath of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” Patel warned after his confirmation. “And if you seek to hide in any corner of this country or any corner of this planet, we will put on the world’s largest manhunt, and we will find you and we will decide your end state, not you.”
Kash’s confirmation was possibly the nomination from President Donald Trump Democrats fought the hardest.
But Kash didn’t come to the Bureau alone.
The deep state was in fear after Patel’s confirmation, but that turned to panic when his second-in-command was named.
President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Director Patel offered the position to conservative talk show host Dan Bongino.
Bongino brings with him years of service as a police officer and Secret Service agent.
“Everything I have in me, is going to be dedicated towards keeping this homeland safe,” Bongino told his audience. “We’re going to reestablish faith in this institution. The FBI belongs to the American people.”
And already, the new leadership team of Kash and Bongino is paying dividends.
Trump’s FBI is breaking records
Kash and Bongino took over an FBI that was invested with bureaucrats who put politics above crime fighting.
The dynamic duo wasted no time cleaning house.
And it appears there’s no shortage of new recruits who want to help the Trump administration right the ship.
Fox News is reporting a record number of applicants have applied to work for the new team at the top of the FBI.
According to Fox News, since the start of 2025, there have been 10,000 people who have applied to be FBI agents.
And the pace has picked up since Trump took office, Patel was confirmed, and Bongino was added.
In fact, in March alone, the FBI offices were flooded with 5,577 new agent applications.
Kash responded to the news by outlining his new strategy for the G-Men.
“The work is only beginning — but this FBI is letting good cops be cops, and more and more brave men and women are seeking to be a part of it,” Patel tweeted. “Our team is doing an outstanding job finding the best of the best. Renewed mission. Stronger future.”
