Gary Varvel: Colts owner, Jim IrsayPaid subscribers: Humor Me cartoon winners, time lapse video and archive cartoons of the late Jim Irsay
The city of Indianapolis is in mourning since the death of Colts owner, Jim Irsay at 65. Since his father Robert Irsay moved the NFL franchise to Indianapolis in 1984, the Colts have transformed the city. Jim took over the team after his father passed away in 1997 and nine years later brought home the Vince Lombardi trophy winning Super Bowl XLI. Jim Irsay was an owner that the players loved. Irsay also known for his generous philanthropy. He donated millions of dollars to various causes, including mental health awareness, addiction treatment, and local charities in Indiana and beyond.
