He was later executed, leaving his wife and children vulnerable. Shuja, another Christian in the same situation as Nashimus, said, “Many people who are believers, we know they are in jail. Their children are in prison. There are hundreds in the Taliban's jail. They are raped. They are tortured…” This isn't about politics—it's about preventing the execution of fellow believers in Christ who followed every legal pathway to find refuge.
