I have some terrible news—but together, we can stop it.
A group calling itself the “Church of Satanology” is pushing to raise a Satanic flag at the Hartford City Hall. This isn’t just some small town. Hartford is the capital of Connecticut, my home state!
I immediately decided to launch a petition drive against this outrage.

Here’s the backstory.
During Holy Week, Hartford City Hall raised a Christian flag—a beautiful gesture that honored our nation’s godly roots. But now, this Satanist group is using that as an excuse to demand “equal representation” for evil.
However, both of us know that Satan has no rights. Evil cannot be protected by law. That’s why murder, robbery and defamation are punishable offenses.
That’s what I plan on telling Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam when I deliver your signature to his office.
We still have time. The City Council has not acted upon this proposal yet. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
That’s why the time to act is now. If we put the pressure on, council members will think twice before allowing the Satanic flag to fly.

It has come to my attention that Chaz Stevens, who leads the “Church of Satanology,” is trying to raise a blatantly Satanic flag at the Hartford City Hall.
I demand that you prevent the display of this evil flag. America is one nation under God. To fly an explicit symbol of Satan goes against the moral fabric of this country.
The First Amendment does not protect slander, liber or lies. Satan, being the father of lies, has no rights to be given a platform in the United States of America.
Please, don’t invite Satan to Hartford. Do not allow the Church of Satanology to come into your state and raise their flag.
