A shocking video has gone viral showing a Michigan pro-Gaza activist calling for the destruction of the United States.
The Middle East Media Research Institute first shared the video, which showed a man in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, arguing that the U.S. needed to be destroyed in order to save Gaza. The man, who appears to be Middle Eastern, was seen wearing a keffiyeh and walking along the street “with a white woman, also keffiyeh clad, who looks on dumbly as he calls for the death of the nation,” according to The Post Millennial.
As is typical for these activists, he spoke with an obviously American accent but heavily accented the word “Gaza” as if he was a Palestinian, effectively showing how radical leftists love to masquerade as foreign “freedom fighters.”
“The message for the people of Gaza, is going to be more of the message that should be sent to the people here, in that they have achieved victory,” he began. “We haven’t done anywhere near enough. And the people here — I promise you — we do feel ashamed. We do feel like we’re not doing enough. We do feel like change needs to come, because change must come.”
“And in the form that it must come is that this empire, the American empire, that’s been hurting our people since the beginning, the imperial western powers that have been hurting our people since the beginning, they must fall,” the man added.
“And inshallah, inshallah, they will fall,” the pro-Gaza activist continued. “And my message to people of Gaza and oppressed people across the world is that there are people here, both young and old, who are going to be willing to fight and are willing to put their lives and everything they can on the line to bring these empires down. Because they must come down.”
The video was reportedly taken during a March 19 fundraiser in Dearborn Heights for the Middle East Children’s Alliance and the “Gaza Emergency.”
The man’s comments prompted widespread outrage on social media, with Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk writing: “Whatever America’s immigration policy is, it should be that no people who think like this are ever allowed to settle in the United States.”
