A childhood friend of Pope Francis has claimed that he intends to overturn the centuries-old ban on Catholic priests from getting married

The Pope considers the law on priestly celibacy ‘archaic’ and ‘not part of the doctrine of the Church‘, according to the confidante.
The friend also claimed the Argentinian-born pope also vowed to reform another Catholic rule which bars divorced people in new relationships from taking the Holy Communion, MailOnline can reveal.

In May, Pope Francis told a group of reporters that celibacy is ‘a gift for the church, but since it is not a dogma, the door is always open.’
According to Oscar Crespo, Pope Francis said that changing the Catholic law which bars civil divorcees from taking a full part in church life is the ‘number one priority’ of his papacy.
It is not the first time Pope Francis – the first non-European pope for 1,700 years – has expressed his personal softer stance on the Church’s traditional views about priestly celibacy
In May, he told a group of reporters that celibacy is ‘a gift for the church, but since it is not a dogma, the door is always open.’ And a few weeks ago, when he was confronted by a campaigner for married priests, he replied that the issue ‘is in my diary‘.

Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the USA to undermine President Barack Obama's attempt to dialogue with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Rather than observing customary protocol—that is arranging the visit of a head of state with top officials in the country to be visited—Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner informed the White House of the Netanyahu invitation just 10 minutes before it was announced to the public, on Jan. 21, the morning after the president’s State of the Union address.

During a secret recording as reported by Israeli Channel 10 on July 9, 2010, the Israeli PM Netanyahu boastfully stated, "I know what America is. America is something that can be moved easily".

Several members of Congress are planning to boycott the speech. Civil Rights icon and Congressional Black Caucus member John Lewis (D-Ga.), and Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) led the boycott. Assistant House Democratic leader Rep. James Clyburn, (D-S.C.), and CBC chairman G. K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) also announced they will not attend.

“I think it’s an affront to the president and the State Department what the speaker did.” Rep. Lewis told AP, calling Mr. Boehner’s actions “unprecedented” and the Netanyahu visit “politicized.” Rep. Butterfield said he was “very disappointed that the speaker would cause such a ruckus” among members of Congress. “To me, it is somewhat of an insult to the president of the United States,” said CBC member Rep. Greg Meeks, (D-N.Y.) “I’m not going to be there.”
