Clayton Van Huss talks with teacher and Jewish believer Larry Stamm about the origins of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. This Jewish holiday falls around the time of Christmas and is mentioned in the New Testament book of John when Jesus went to the temple for the Feast of Dedication. Finding its roots during the Greek oppression of the intertestamental period, Hanukkah demonstrates the hand of God in preserving His people. In a great miracle that “happened there” we see the great miracle that “happened here” in God’s gift of His Messiah, the Light of the World.
