The advancing jihad is making the case for an armed citizenry.

My colleague Chris Johnston is at the scene and has been speaking to witnesses:
Gerard Vowls, 47, had been watching the Champions League final at the Ship pub in Borough. He was at the start of the south side of London Bridge and saw a woman being stabbed by three men.
“I want to know if this girl is still alive,” he said. “I’ve been walking around for an hour and a half crying my eyes out. I don’t know what to do.”
Vowls said he was throwing chairs, glasses and bottles at the attackers in a bid to stop them. “They kept coming to try to stab me … they were stabbing everyone. Evil, evil people.”
It took at least 10 minutes for armed police to reach the scene, he added.

Photo shows man ‘with canisters strapped to body’
Pictures have been circulating showing a man on the ground; he appears to have canisters strapped to his body.
The Guardian is not showing his face until his identity and connection to the incident has been established.
The photo was taken by Gabriele Sciotto, a Juventus fan, who said he was on his way home after watching his team play in the Champions League final. “I had just been watching the football at The Sheaf pub and I left. I was trying to figure out which way to go home and I went the wrong way.”
As he walked down Park Street he said a man came running towards him. “He was maybe 35. He was saying ‘run away, there’s a terrorist attack going on’. There were other people around and they started to run away.”
Sciotto, a documentary maker, instead walked on:
I’m a documentary maker. I was doing what I’m trained to do.
It was dark, but behind him I could see three men at the other end of the street. They were about 20m away. It was quite confusing – it took me a few seconds to work out what was going on.
Sciotto said he saw them run in the opposite direction into Borough Market:
There was one policeman there, inside Borough Market. He was trying to scare them away. They ran towards me because the police officer was trying to chase them.
The three men ran out of Borough Market and turned left into Stoney Street towards the Wheatsheaf pub:
Suddenly lots and lots police came from the other direction. There was a lot of shouting. ‘Stop, stop, get on the floor’, stuff like that. Then the police shot them.
The 25-year-old took pictures of the men after they had been shot, lying on the floor:
I could see one of them moving still. There was blood. I could see the police were scared.
The policeman in Borough Market, he was trying to make sure that no one was hurt. He was trying to get them outside. The police reaction was very quick….

How many people have to die before it is recognized that the UK’s strategy of evasion, denial, appeasement and accommodation isn’t working? Britain, and the free world in general, must fight back effectively, or this will be just the beginning. The willful ignorance must end.
Madame Prime Minister: I tried to warn you. You banned me from the country, while allowing in a steady stream of jihad preachers. You now have the Britain you have made, and that you wanted. If Britons don’t swiftly remove you from power and replace you with someone who will speak honestly about the jihad threat, they will continue to reap the rewards of your treason.

Jihadi terrorists shouting ‘this is for Allah’ have reportedly killed seven people after mowing down up to 20 with a white van on London Bridge and stabbing revellers with 12-inch hunting knives.
The men, described as being ‘of Mediterranean origin’, reportedly drove the van at 50mph across the bridge, then jumped out and began ‘randomly stabbing people’ along Borough High Street in central London at 10pm.
One woman said she saw three people with what appeared to be their throats cut at London Bridge. There are also reports that a bystander was shot in the head in the crossfire and at least seven people have been stabbed.
One person has been killed at London Bridge – and one of the casualties is reportedly a police officer.
The gang had metal canisters strapped to their chests and two of them were reportedly shot dead by armed police, witnesses said. A search is underway for the third man.
The terrorists also tried to storm into a pub in the nearby Borough Market, where a man was reportedly stabbed five times in the chest.
Police responded to a third incident in Vauxhall, south London, which later turned out to be an unrelated stabbing. Officers are telling people ‘you must run, hide and tell’.
A man has been arrested, as Sky News reported live from Borough High Street.
There are also unconfirmed reports of gunfire on Southwark Street.
50 armed police have entered Monument station with police dogs and bystanders have been told to run. Bank and Monument tube stations have been closed.
Police are advising people who live within the London Bridge cordon to stay somewhere else tonight if they can.
Terrifying footage from the scene shows police officers shouting ‘Clear the scene now!’ as panicked pedestrians flee. London Ambulance said multiple resources were attending the area.
The car that the three men were in is believed to have veered in an ‘S shape’ across the bridge and has driven towards the Shard and is south of the river. There are unconfirmed reports that it is a B&Q and Hertz van.
‘The men said this is for Allah as they left the van and attacked victims. There were definitely three people sitting at the front of the van,’ London Bridge eyewitness Eric Seguenzo told BBC News….

This is a separate incident from the London Bridge attack. It also could still be some non-Muslim maniac, but if so, he is closely following established jihadi procedure.
