Violent practice of sucker-punching random victims in headlines again

The “knockout game” is back.
In fact, it never really went away.
It’s when mostly black youth randomly attack pedestrians and knock them unconscious, and it is once again raising fears around the country. In Pittsburgh recently, a woman was brutally assaulted and knocked unconscious. No passerby stopped to help the woman; indeed, some stopped to take “selfies.” The victim was left to lie on the ground until she regained consciousness.
A similar attack occurred soon afterward in New York City, when a 43-year-old man was sucker punched by a teen attacker outside a Shake Shack. The teen reportedly took a selfie with the victim afterward.
Three black men are also being sought in a “knockout game” assault on a 53-year-old woman in late September.
One of the men reportedly exclaimed, “I’m gonna do it” before hitting the woman, causing swelling and bleeding. A wanted poster with pictures of the three suspects has been distributed by the police, but no arrests have been reported.
Colin Flaherty, the independent reporter who helped expose the “knockout game” through his online videos and his book “White Girl Bleed A Lot,” says it is interesting how the mainstream media no longer denies the existence of this “game.”
“Contrary to what some reporters wish, the ‘knockout game’ is not some organized activity like cribbage,” Flaherty told WND. “There are no rules about saying a certain thing or doing a certain thing.
“When I first started reporting on the knockout game for WND a few years ago, every story about the ‘knockout game’ would carry a reminder that most people thought the game was a myth, a lie, concocted by yours truly for my own nefarious reasons. But what is interesting about the coverage of the recent episodes of this mostly black-on-white violence in the New York and Pittsburgh areas is that these ritual announcements that used to accompany these articles are gone.”

“The knockout game is someone beating the hell of out of someone just for the hell of it,” he said. “If, at the end, someone gets their pockets rifled or loses a cell phone, that is secondary to the joy, the ecstasy, that some folks take in creating violence and mayhem on others.”
Flaherty identifies the “knockout game” as mostly driven by black attackers. However, this is not true in every case. Last month, police in Rosenberg, Texas, reportedly feared the “knockout game” had reached their community after a viral video showed a man being knocked unconscious in an unprovoked attack.
Still, Flaherty argues the overwhelming majority of attackers in these cases over the past few years are black. He says this should cause Americans to view the eternal victimhood claims of groups like Black Lives Matter with suspicion.
“Black Lives Matter and its allies in the press and among politicians claim blacks are always the relentless victims of white racism, all the time, everywhere, and somehow that explains everything,” said Flaherty.
“But this isn’t true. The answer is close to the opposite. The hard reality is blacks are driving an enormous amount of violent crime and crimes against property in this country and both victims and law enforcement know that. And we should also start recognizing the disturbing pattern in these episodes of joyful violence.”
Luckily, Flaherty believes the Trump administration is going to crack down on such violence because the president is a supporter of law enforcement.
“President Trump has stopped the bleeding in ways we do not even know yet,” Flaherty said. “During the eight years of the Obama presidency, it cannot be over-exaggerated about how every person in that administration saw the world through the lens of white racism victimizing black people. That has now stopped. Some of the overt activities in support of people who hate cops has stopped. I don’t think we’ll be seeing hordes of cop haters chatting up the attorney general at this year’s White House Christmas party.”

During Wednesday’s broadcast of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, former presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attempted to defend her presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee’s funding of the controversial Trump-Russia dossier.
Clinton told host Trevor Noah that there is a major difference between what the DNC and her presidential campaign did by working together to obtain the dossier, compared to that of “Trump’s people” who she alleges worked with the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election.
The former First Lady and Secretary of State claimed the dossier was not made public before the November 2016 election, saying the American people were not even aware that the FBI was conducting an investigation into the Trump presidential campaign.
“The people doing it came to my campaign lawyer and said, you know, ‘would you like us to continue it?’ and he said, yes. He’s an experienced lawyer. He knows what the law is. He knows what opposition research is,” Clinton said to host Trevor Noah.
Funding for the infamous dossier first started with monetary compensation flowing from Clinton’s general counsel, Marc Elias, to Fusion GPS, then on to the author of the dossier Christopher Steele in London.
Steel used the money to finance spies and officials connected to the Kremlin, the Washington Times reports.
The dossier was then made public in January after internet news and media website BuzzFeed published it.
Attempting to defend the funding of the research Clinton said on Wednesday evening, “When Trump got the nomination of the Republican Party, the people doing it came to my campaign lawyer, and said, would you like us to continue it.”
“He said yes,” Clinton said. “He is an experienced lawyer. He knows what the law is. He knows what opposition research is.”

In an exclusive article published by Politico, former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile claims former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, used “unethical” finances to reign in the DNC during the primary race against opponent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Brazile writes that as she took control of the DNC after the convention, she had promised Bernie that she would uncover the truth of whether Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign team had rigged the nomination process.
She had felt compelled to research the allegations after emails of the Democratic National Committee had been stolen or leaked and then published online suggesting Clinton had rigged the primary process.
“I’d had my suspicions from the moment I walked in the door of the DNC a month or so earlier, based on the leaked emails,” Brazile said. “But who knew if some of them might have been forged? I needed to have solid proof, and so did Bernie.”
Brazile wrote the following,
So I followed the money. My predecessor, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had not been the most active chair in fundraising at a time when President Barack Obama’s neglect had left the party in significant debt. As Hillary’s campaign gained momentum, she resolved the party’s debt and put it on a starvation diet. It had become dependent on her campaign for survival, for which she expected to wield control of its operations.
Debbie was not a good manager. She hadn’t been very interested in controlling the party—she let Clinton’s headquarters in Brooklyn do as it desired so she didn’t have to inform the party officers how bad the situation was. How much control Brooklyn had and for how long was still something I had been trying to uncover for the last few weeks.
By September 7, the day I called Bernie, I had found my proof and it broke my heart.
Brazile claims Gary Gensler, the chief financial officer of Hillary’s campaign, told her over the phone that the Democratic Party was broke and in debt $2 million.
She claims to have learned that President Obama had left the party $24 million in debt. $15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 presidential campaign.
President Obama’s campaign was not due to pay it off until 2016, however Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund both helped pay off 80 percent of the debt in 2016.
“If I didn’t know about this, I assumed that none of the other officers knew about it, either,” Brazile wrote. “That was just Debbie’s way.”
“In my experience she didn’t come to the officers of the DNC for advice and counsel,” she wrote. “She seemed to make decisions on her own and let us know at the last minute what she had decided, as she had done when she told us about the hacking only minutes before the Washington Post broke the news.”
Brazile again writes,
“Gary, how did they do this without me knowing?” I asked. “I don’t know how Debbie relates to the officers,” Gary said. He described the party as fully under the control of Hillary’s campaign, which seemed to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp. The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearinghouse. Under FEC law, an individual can contribute a maximum of $2,700 directly to a presidential campaign. But the limits are much higher for contributions to state parties and a party’s national committee.
Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund—that figure represented $10,000 to each of the 32 states’ parties who were part of the Victory Fund agreement—$320,000—and $33,400 to the DNC. The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money to Brooklyn.
“Wait,” I said. “That victory fund was supposed to be for whoever was the nominee, and the state party races. You’re telling me that Hillary has been controlling it since before she got the nomination?”
Brazile claims Gary told her that if the campaign had not done it, the party was in danger of collapsing.
Gary explained to Brazile that the deal was struck between Debbie and Robby Mook, former campaign manager for Clinton.
Brazile claims she was “livid” after learning the details of the financial situation of the party that she had just inherited.

With his Twitter account reactivated, on Friday President Trump pounced on new revelations from former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile regarding Hillary Clinton’s alleged takeover of the Democratic Party.
Allowing her to defeat rival Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders during the 2016 Democratic presidential primary.
President Trump urged the United States Justice Department to initiate an investigation into his political rival and key individuals connected to her presidential campaign.
“Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn’t looking into all of the dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems,” Trump tweeted early Friday. “New Donna B book says she paid for and stole the Dem Primary. What about the deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus, plus…”
Trump seized on Brazile’s claims the Democratic presidential primary process was rigged or fixed to guarantee Hillary Clinton would be the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee over Bernie Sanders.
“I had promised Bernie when I took the helm of the Democratic National Committee after the convention that I would get to the bottom of whether Hillary Clinton’s team had rigged the nomination process, as a cache of emails stolen by Russian hackers and posted online had suggested,” Brazile wrote in a article for Politico published Thursday. “By Sept. 7, the day I called Bernie, I had found my proof and it broke my heart.”

On Thursday Pope Francis made an emotional plea for world peace.
“Please Lord, stop. No more wars. No more of these useless massacres,” the pope said at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy
The pontiff made the statements during mass celebrating All Souls Day, when Italians honor their dead, Fox News reported.
“Wars produce nothing more than cemeteries and death,” Pope Francis said, reported Reuters. “Humanity seems to have not learned that lesson, or doesn’t want to.”
“The world is once more at war and is preparing to go even more forcefully into war,” Pope Francis said, the Washington Post reports.

Bergdahl dishonorably discharged, no jail time

On Friday, Army Sgt. Bow Bergdahl walked out of a North Carolina courtroom a free man, Fox News reports. Eight years after he left his Army base in Afghanistan and ended up in the hands of the Taliban.
Bergdahl pleaded guilty to endangering his fellow troops and was fined, reduced in rank to E1 and dishonorably discharged, however, he did not receive any jail time.
As part of his sentence, Bergdahl will forfeit his salary of $1,000 per month for the next ten months, Fox News reported.
Bergdahl was shaking and appeared visibly upset and emotional as the verdict was read aloud quickly.
Bergdahl had faced the possibility of life in prison for desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, and prosecutors had originally asked for a 14-year prison term following a week of emotional testimony from the survivors who were wounded during missions to retrieve Bergdahl after he left the military base in June 2009.
“Sgt. Bergdahl has been punished enough,” Capt. Nina Banks, a defense attorney said. “Sgt. Bergdahl paid a bitter price for the choices that he made.”
“He relives that torture he experienced for five years,” Banks said at the courthouse on Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, during closing arguments. “He will forever carry those scars with him.”
