3rd straight record-breaking year for antisemitism in Canada

Jews are unquestionably the most targeted group for hate crimes in Canada. However, instead of proposing a plan to combat anti-Semitism and to protect Canadian Jews, the hopelessly incompetent Prime Minister Trudeau continues to focus on fighting against Islamophobia, with motions such as M-103. Under Prime Minister Trudeau Canada has become much less safe for Jews.

Canada is not immune to the global trend of rising anti-Semitism, according to a new report for B’nai Brith.
The Annual Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents, presented on Monday, found 2018 saw a 16.5 per cent increase in anti-Semitic harassment, vandalism and violence with 2,041 recorded incidents compared to 1,752 incidents in 2017.
“Our primary concern with the trend we are observing is that this may be indicating a new normal in terms of the propagation of anti-Semitism in Canada, along the same pattern of growth in anti-Semitism that has been observed in Europe and elsewhere in the world, ” Michael Mostyn, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada, explained.
The report found that 80 per cent of harassment reported to B’nai Brith was from online communication — Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, email and others — and ranged from malicious sentiments to threats of violence and calls for genocide.
Mostyn said this faceless, online form of harassment is favoured because of the anonymity it affords the users and the “ease in which online mediums can be utilized to target Jewish individuals.”
According to the report, some of the harassment experienced by Canadians last year included a group of teens shooting lit fireworks at Hasidic Jews in Quebec, two Saskatchewan elementary school students being harassed and beaten by their peers, a group of Orthodox students in Toronto being assaulted on the streets, a Winnipeg high school student being mocked for her “Jewish nose” as well as having family members die in the Holocaust, a Manitoba woman being threatened in an anonymous phone call and a 13-year-old Toronto student harassed by a peer who threatened to “shoot up a Jewish school” and told her to “go back into the ovens.”

After decades of supporting the Left, Britain’s Jews are now facing the horrific possibility that a neo-Nazi will be their next Prime Minister. Don’t think that such a scenario can’t happen in the United States. Britain’s Jews did not begin to confront the far-Left Labor Party until it was to late. American Jews are doing the same thing by not confronting the anti-Semitic Democrat Party. Today, a Democrat Senator from Vermont who has similar views to Jeremy Corbyn, may become the Democrat Party’s nominee for President in 2020.

British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn wrote a forward to a book that says that banks and the press were controlled by Jews.
Corbyn wrote the forward praising the new edition of JA Hobson’s 1902 book “Imperialism: A Study,” for a new edition issued in 2011. He wrote the forward four years before he became head of the Labour Party, whose leaders have been accused of tolerating anti-Semitism in the party’s ranks and even encouraging it with anti-Israel as well as what some have deemed anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Corbyn, a far-left and anti-Israel politician, has faced allegations that he himself is promoting anti-Semitism in Labour, though he denies this.
In the book, Hobson describes the global and financial system as controlled by people “united by the strongest bonds of organization, always in closest and quickest touch with one as other, situated in the very heart of the business capital of every state, controlled, so far as Europe is concerned, by men of a single and peculiar race, who have behind them many centuries of financial experience, they are in a unique position to control the policy of nations.”

Palestinian convicted of bus bombing in Israel stripped of US citizenship

A Palestinian American who was sentenced in 1991 to 10 years in prison—though had his sentence reduced—for attempting to blow up a bus in Israel three years earlier had his U.S. citizenship revoked for lying to the U.S. government, which reportedly knew about his past since at least 2010.
Vallmoe Shqaire, 51, who served four years in an Israeli prison, lied about his past to U.S. immigration officials when he entered America in 1999—something he should have been barred from doing by not revealing his involvement in the attempted attack and his ties to the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Shqaire was charged in September for illegally getting his American citizenship.
“By concealing his violent, terrorist conduct, defendant circumvented the procedures our immigration system depends upon,” wrote prosecutors in a sentencing memorandum.
