Data from the FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) shows over three and a half times more people were killed with knives in 2020 than were killed with rifles of all kinds.

Moreover, FBI data shows more people were killed with fists and feet than were killed with all kinds of rifles. The FBI lists fist and feet under the heading of "personal weapons," noting 657 were killed with such weapons while 454 were killed with rifles.
