James • an hour ago Loud voices in the episcopate appear to have but focus of concern -- the groin -- and shamelessly so. Obsessive-compulsives, do keep it up. Your exhibitionism will be your undoing.
RW in VTA • an hour ago Women "priestesses" from other denominations should be called "priestesses" as they are.
Robert Dunn RW in VTA • 44 minutes ago I entered priestess into my google search box and guess what came up first: female priest of a non-Christian religion!
licjjs • 2 hours ago I bet the 'My body, my choice' screamers are the same as 'You must be vaccinated or lose your place in society' screamers.
EFT • 3 hours ago • edited "none had yet received the sacrament"
Uh .. no.
None had yet ATTEMPTED to receive the sacrament.
Form and Matter.
Even if a female had the words pronounced and oil imposed nothing could happen as a component of the sacrament is the recipient must be Male.Razz Muffin EFT • 2 hours ago There have indeed been women ordained as priests and their priesthood affirmed. Rare yes. But Popes have condemned the ordinations but did not denial that they could validly hear confessions etc. This occurred centuries back... I am not implying precedent and soldiering for the ordination of women! Forgive my lack of specifics. I'm taxing my memory but not questioning the actual ordination of women though rare.
sanfordandsons • 3 hours ago We here in Kansas have been waiting for almost a year since we heard that Fr Kapaun was coming home. The American Legion Riders and the VFW were full strength at the funeral. Now that he is home and buried, let us not forget the sacrifice that he offered to his fellow captives AND his captors.
MarxismNoWay • 3 hours ago Compare the bravery and love of a Father Kapaun with Pachamama Bergoglio and our "brave woke generals" of the USCCB....Our "brave" Pachamama Bergoglio (and many so-called Catholics) ridiculed Cardinal Burke who struggled valiantly to survive against a corrupt medical system (bribed by politics and the evil Great Reset globalists) that refuses to give many the life saving treatments for the Fauci-CCP "virus". These "medical professionals" instead push an abortion-tainted, untested gene therapy, while Pfizer is now trying to develop a "new medication" that sounds a lot like Ivermectin. Keep praying for Cardinal Burke's full recovery. God Bless and Protect, Cardinal Burke...and thank God for priests like Father Kapaun. Our "church leaders" today are COWARDS and they are NOT CATHOLIC.
tap • 4 hours ago • edited What do "Anglican priest" and the "Loch Ness monster" have in common? They've both been seen by Pope Francis..
Diane • 4 hours ago I heard something yesterday. I do not know how true it is. There are so many transgenders who are trying to enter the priesthood that they want physicals before they are allowed to enter the priesthood to make sure they are men??????????????
Also, if the Catholic Church is to remain the One Truth, it cannot change to any of these homosexual acceptances.
Livewire • 6 hours ago I'm so sick of the twisted people of today and how they take opportunities to push their evil. Equally tired of how people you think are normal want to sweep it all under the rug. Are there any men who want to fight anymore!
Wolemai • 10 hours ago Where on earth did the English drag that fat, bow tie wearing, freak from? Every word that came out of his mouth was anti Biblical and pure heresy.
Peter Molloy Wolemai • 3 hours ago Sadly, I recognize his accent as Irish. I grew up there so I can recognize the accent.
The irony of it is, an Irish priest is working to destroy the Catholic Church in England.
Some months (possibly years) ago Michael had a great discussion on how the British tried for hundreds of years to destroy the Catholic Church in Ireland then in just a couple of generations with homosexuality and abortion the Irish manage to destroy their Church all on their own.licjjs Peter Molloy • 2 hours ago Yes he went to Maynooth (nuff said). He is a priest of Arundel and Brighton I think. Did you realise that he is a professor at the University of Nottingham that recently tried to block a priest Chaplain?
Peter Molloy licjjs • 2 hours ago I was going to say something about Maynooth, but I held my tongue because I couldn’t say with certainty that he was from there.
I’m not one bit surprised. That’s what they are churning out these days.
A once great institute, now a mere shambles of its former glorious days.
Stan • 10 hours ago One problem is for "trans" "men" (actual women) to attempt getting ordained. Another problem is, if the ordained sodomite men - and that's about 50% of US bishops, large numbers of priests, and Evil Jimmy SJ - would at some point want to come out as "women." At this point, they still know they would face instant laicization, but... under anti-rigid pope Bergoglio II, handpicked by Cupich and Tobin, you never know.
Rapiermarine • 12 hours ago That overweight, heretical priest is a scary sight. Fr. O'Laughlin needs to know that God is a God of order, not disorder. He absolutely left us with some schema of how the Church should go.
Peter Molloy Robert Dunn • 3 hours ago If this ‘priest’ is not the perfect example of the kind of evil that has infiltrated the Church, I don’t ever want to see what is!
The good thing is, we are seeing them now, out in the open, in full display to the world. They don’t hide any more.
What is most sad is, Ireland was the country that produced so many great priests, now this is what is coming out of Ireland. It’s very sad to see.Robert Dunn Peter Molloy • an hour ago He looks like a frog come out of the bog that needs to be stepped on, and how sad it is we have a hierarchy that won't take a step. You and I would take him by his fat frog legs and sling him into the Irish Sea.
Peter Molloy Robert Dunn • 37 minutes ago Many a monster came out of the bog!
The good thing about stuff that comes out of the bog, it burns very nicely. Much nicer than coal.
Jennifer Kraft • 13 hours ago When is someone going to simply point out that if you’ve been vaccinated you cannot donate plasma? it’s a very simple fact that proves everything you need to know. first of all, if we don’t stop this crap, we are going to run out of cancer treatments and other plasma related lifesaving treatments. What is the endgame to vaccinated everyone when they know that after they do – no one will have untainted blood? With a farm the unvaccinated immigrants that they brought in for blood? Will they farm children, infants? The next time someone asks you about a vaccine, ask them who supposed to donate the blood? It’s a legit and terrifying prospect.
Zea Bauer Jennifer Kraft • 13 hours ago Think that statement is incorrect as I donate plasma regularly and no one has said that to me..got emails saying my donation had been used as recently as this month
Jennifer Kraft • 14 hours ago You guys need to check out that bill, it means more than $3.5 trillion, there are provisions in there to give money to states for vaccine mandate enforcement-we praying that they fine private businesses, quarantine camps, ext.
ListenToThePeople • 14 hours ago There is no place in the Word of God that glorifies homosexuality and where it is mentioned it is condemned in no uncertain words. Why, then, is the Catholic clergy inundated with homosexual priests? How can the Church become a career field for homosexual men (and now trans-genders)? Why isn't there a formation of another schism to separate the Catholics who go with the Word and not with the latest social movement? I don't attend Mass anymore simply because of this influence in homilies and the fact the Pope has only given lip-service to booting homosexual priests from the clergy. I truly would like to see Pope Francis reform this church and push the gay trojan house off the Vatican grounds.
Peter Molloy ListenToThePeople • 3 hours ago In these times it’s more important than ever to receive the sacraments.
Please find a Church where you can both go to confession on a regular basis and go at least on Sunday to Mass.
Strive to maintain a state of grace as much as you can, for your own protection.
All the rest of this stuff is just noise.
Ultimately this life is all about you and your relationship with God.
Don’t let the ‘noise’ distract you. That is exactly what evil wants.Petrichor ListenToThePeople • 8 hours ago • edited Go find the nearest Ordinariate parish and you can be sure of orthodox teaching, reverent liturgy and holy priests who are dependable spiritual advisors. Failing that, find a Latin Mass church, or an eastern rite church and go there. You cannot live without the sacraments.
mrgees ListenToThePeople • 11 hours ago • edited To answer your question how they ended up in the clergy: While everyone was asleep his enemy came and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off. - Mt 13:25
To address your crazy idea of jumping the board during the storm from the seemingly sinking ship: Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. - J 6:53
Omitting a Holy Mass on Sunday is a mortal sin leaving you in a state without Sanctifying Grace without which you cannot go to heaven and therefore you are in grave danger of hell. You cannot receive Jesus' Body now without asking for His forgiveness the way He designed it, and a "sorry God" said at home or in a pew won't cut it. Go to confession. Even the worst priest ever still had authority to forgive your sins. If he is bad then be on guard for bad advices. And then and only then start going for Holy Masses to different churches in your area. Draw a 50m radius if needed to increase the chances. You *will* find good priests.
Blessings,
GregJohn C ListenToThePeople • 12 hours ago Attend the faithful Traditional Catholic Latin Mass, for it is without heresy or flaw.
PJ Mod ListenToThePeople • 14 hours ago I was with you until you mentioned you don't attend Mass anymore. Don't cut yourself off from Christ in the Eucharist and Penance because of some clergy. The devil wins then. Help cleanse Christ's earthly body. Further, it is the authority of Christ that reminds us that missing Sunday Mass without a serious reason is mortal sin.
Stan PJ • 11 hours ago There are some good, faithful, and Catholic Priests who suffer the homosexual infestation along with the Church.
Petrichor Stan • 8 hours ago Link up with them and help organise low profile "house masses" with people who want reverent liturgy and sound preaching.
