Joy Reid felt humiliated after she got caught deceptively editing this one Republican’s words
Joy Reid spends virtually every second of her program on MSNBC attacking anyone who disagrees with Joe Biden’s agenda.
But this time Reid went too far in her effort to make Republicans look bad.
And Joy Reid felt humiliated after she got caught deceptively editing this one Republican’s words. MSNBC host Joy Reid is one of the most left-wing radicals in the cable news industry.
Reid frequently makes false accusations against conservatives like Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
Of course, Reid’s lies usually consist of her ranting about the alleged racism and sexism that runs rampant in the Republican Party.
She recently claimed Ron DeSantis is “attacking black people and brown immigrants and gay people and trans people.”
When DeSantis signed a bill into law that removed sexually-inappropriate books from children’s libraries, Reid accused him of infringing on “children’s freedom to read books.”
She attacked DeSantis for banning Critical Race Theory and claimed he was “banning books about history and any mention of the existence of gay people from Florida schools,” as well as “barring public high schools from teaching AP African American studies.”
But Joy Reid is going beyond just telling lies on her program.
She’s now editing interviews to paint Republicans in a false negative light.
“Reid decided to lie about conservatives and Republicans in the United States House of Representatives by claiming they want to drive the United States into default on its debt in order to hurt President Biden’s reelection chances,” Media Research Center reported. “She even edited Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel’s comments on Fox News to make it seem like she was hoping for a default to help GOP chances in November 2024.”
Reid played an out-of-context clip of RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel saying “this is a President that is failing the American people, so I think that bodes very well for the Republican field.”She claimed the clip was proof of McDaniel “joining the quiet part out loud club with Matt Gaetz who said earlier this week that he and his MAGA colleagues do not feel like they should negotiate with our hostage.”
But Reid conveniently cut out the portion just before the clip she played where McDaniel was talking about Biden’s failure on everything, not just the debt ceiling.
In the full interview with Fox News, McDaniels listed off all the many issues where Joe Biden has failed the country.
“This is a President that is failing the American people,” she said after listing all the issues. “So I think that bodes very well for the Republican field.”
Joy Reid’s twisting of McDaniel’s words only shows how worried the Left is about Biden’s reelection chances, especially given the economy is teetering on the brink of a recession.
