In Ancient Shiloh, Israelis Hold Prayer Gathering for U.S. Strength Before Elections

A Spiritual Call for U.S. Leadership and Support for Israel.

As the United States approaches a pivotal presidential election, hundreds of Israelis gathered in Ancient Shiloh to offer prayers for the strength and prosperity of America. The event, organized by the Binyamin Regional Council, saw men and women from various backgrounds native Israelis, American immigrants, and local students come together at this historic site to recite psalms and pray for the well-being of Israel’s closest ally.

Israel Ganz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and the Yesha Council, explained the significance of Shiloh as the site of the ancient Tabernacle, a place where blessings were once bestowed upon the region. “We chose to pray to God from the site of the Tabernacle... I hope that a blessing will come forth at this time, from this spot, to the United States, Israel, and the entire world,” he said.

The council has been proactive in urging dual U.S.-Israeli citizens to participate in the American election, recognizing the profound impact U.S. policies have on the region. “The elections in the United States could have even more impact on the future for the residents of Judea and Samaria than for those living in places like New York,” Ganz noted, referencing U.S. involvement in key Israeli issues, including the war against Hamas, sanctions, and the controversial push for a Palestinian state.

Among the participants was Shiloh resident Batya Medad, who emphasized the global need for prayer. Reflecting on the political climate in the U.S., she expressed concerns over societal divisions and the challenges faced by both nations. “The whole world needs prayers... especially the United States the hatred, and lack of tolerance for ideas,” Medad said, drawing parallels between past and present U.S.-Israel relations.

Eliana Passentin, director of the international desk at the Binyamin Regional Council, highlighted the spiritual and historical significance of the gathering. “We are standing here at the birthplace of prayer, where Hannah prayed for a child thousands of years ago, and are praying for a strong America. A strong America means a strong Israel,” she said. Passentin stressed that U.S. leadership understanding the importance of Israel’s biblical heartland, Judea and Samaria, is crucial for the peaceful existence of its residents.

Josh Reinstein, president of the Israel Allies Foundation, echoed these sentiments, noting the strong support for Israel among the American public. “Since October 7, we see that around 80% of Americans stand firmly with Israel... It is now our turn to pray for them,” he said. Reinstein underscored the strategic importance of a robust U.S.-Israel alliance, stating, “A strong America will bring peace and prosperity to the Middle East.”

Ruth J. Lieberman, a political adviser to Ganz, emphasized the mutual dependence between Israel and the U.S. “The idea behind this gathering is that we want America to know that Israel stands with them... The high-schoolers here today are the next generation of IDF soldiers. They expect a strong America to stand right behind them,” she said.

Lieberman acknowledged the ongoing support from U.S. Congress, particularly in providing military aid and legislative backing for Israel’s fight against shared adversaries like Iran. “We hope the [new] White House will realize what they have to do... We really hope those close friends of ours will be in positions of power and support us as strongly as they possibly can,” she concluded.

As the U.S. prepares for a significant electoral decision, the prayers from Shiloh serve as a profound reminder of the intertwined destinies of these two nations. Their shared values and mutual support are pivotal for facing the challenges that lie ahead.

Iranian Girl Defies Sharia Law, Walks In Public In Bra And Underwear

A young Iranian woman was forcibly dragged away by authorities after defying the authoritarian regime’s draconian Sharia Law dress code by walking around in public in just her bra and underwear.

The young woman has been identified as Ahou Daryaei, a student at the Science and Research branch of Islamic Azad University in Tehran.

Leading Iranian dissident Masih Alinejad broke the story, revealing that Daryaei had been dragged away by Iranian authorities and was allegedly admitted to a mental health hospital because authorities claim she had been suffering from a psychological illness. Alinejad then noted that this “accusation of mental instability is a familiar tactic by the Islamic Republic” to use against women who dare to defy Sharia Law — adding that this was the same tactic used against her in 2014 when she launched a protest organization against compulsory hijab.

“In 2014, when I launched the My Stealthy Freedom campaign against compulsory hijab, the regime used similar lies against me, claiming I had a mental breakdown, undressed myself on the London subway and was raped by three men. This is how they attempt to undermine those who resist their oppression,” Alinejad explained.

The Iranian dissident spoke to one of the woman’s classmates at the school who witnessed the incident, who revealed that Daryaei had originally been wearing a hoodie and pants, and school security officials had attempted to drag her into the security room because she was not wearing a “proper hijab.” She then lost the hoodie in a struggle and proceeded to remove her pants and walk through the campus in protest.

Alinejad quoted her as saying: “On Saturday, November 2, we saw the university’s security and Basij forces trying to forcibly drag a female student into the security room, under the pretext of her not wearing a proper hijab. She resisted, and in the struggle, her hoodie was pulled off, leaving her with only her undergarments underneath. Shocked, the security officers let her go, after which, in a moment of rage, she removed her pants and threw them at the officers.”

Reporter Babak Taghvaee added more context to the story in a post on X, revealing that Daryaei had been “studying French Literature (PhD) in Oloom Tahghighat University,” and has since been “imprisoned” in the psychiatric hospital “where many political prisoners are kept for punishment.”

Former President Donald Trump vowed to “help our country heal” as he prepares to take office as the 47th president of the United States.

Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election early Wednesday morning. Unofficial results show Trump securing 277 electoral votes, surpassing the 270 electoral vote threshold required to clinch the presidency.

Addressing his supporters in a victory speech, Trump described his presidential campaign as “the greatest political movement of all time.” Insisting that “there’s never been anything like this in this country,” the former president predicted that the movement was “going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal.”

“We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly,” he added. “We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything about our country.”

Trump thanked the American people for “the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president.” He also pledged to serve on behalf of “every citizen,” signaling his intention to “fight for you, for your family and your future.”

“Every single day I will be fighting for you, and with every breath in my body I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve,” he said. “This will truly be the golden age of America.”

Trump described the results of the 2024 presidential election as “a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to Make America Great Again.” He gave shout outs to the states that helped him win the 2024 election, specifically North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He also projected confidence that he would win Alaska, Arizona, Michigan and Nevada. The former president leads in all four states but the races are too close to call.

“America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate,” he proclaimed. “We have taken back control of the Senate.”

After acknowledging his family, campaign staff and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, in addition to taking shots at the mainstream media, Trump added that “this will forever be remembered as the day the American people regained control of their country.” He defined his political coalition as based on a “common core of common sense.”

“We’re the party of common sense,” he maintained. “We want to have borders. We want to have security. We want to have things be good, safe. We want great education.”

Addressing the assassination attempt against him earlier this year that resulted in a bullet grazing his ear and one of his supporters losing his life, Trump told the audience, “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason.” He identified that reason as to “save our country and to restore America to greatness.”

“We are going to fulfill that mission together. We’re going to fulfill that mission,” he asserted. “The task before us will not be easy, but I will bring every ounce of energy, spirit and fight that I have in my soul to the job that you’ve entrusted to me.”

Trump concluded his remarks by “asking every citizen all across our land to join me in this noble and righteous endeavor.” Stressing his desire to “put the divisions of the past four years behind us” and “unite,” he anticipated that “success will bring us together” and that “America’s future will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than it has ever been before.”
