6 Ways to Trust God's Timing in Every Aspect of Your Life Trust in God’s timing and you’ll never be disappointed. By Lesli White

There are times in life when God will make us wait. In those periods, He wants to get our attention. He may be trying to speak to you about a situation occurring in your life, or He may know the timing of what we’re requesting just isn’t right. When life seems to be running the smoothest during those periods, it’s easy to forget to call on God. When we are requesting something in life from God, it’s hard to be patient because we want our prayers answered right then. However, trust in God’s timing is imperative. When we align our steps with God’s and walk in submission to Him, we can hear His voice more clearly. Sometimes, our waiting period is when God prepares us for something greater than we can ever understand. Here are six ways to trust God’s timing in every aspect of your life.

Remember, there’s joy in waiting.

Waiting can be frustrating. Think about when we have to wait in line for a purchase or get stuck behind a slow car driving in the fast lane. This same hurriedness can also find its way in our faith lives which causes us to rush into life situations without consulting God. We know we are supposed to turn to God for direction, but our inability to be patient can pull us away from God. While life may calls us to rush, God is not. In fact, God is never in a hurry. There is great joy that lies on the other side of patience. We often forget that God has a purpose for our lives greater than we could have ever imagined. We will have to make important decisions on our life journey and figure out which way to go. If we rush the process without turning to God, we may go down a path we regret. However, when we trust God, and the path puts us on, incredible things will be revealed to us. Waiting can reveal what God was trying to tell us when we couldn’t see it.

Acknowledge the presence of God, even when things are collapsing.

It can be difficult to trust God when you don’t know what your path looks like or what a situational outcome is. However, we must remember that God is there. He is still good and present. Joshua 1:9 says, “Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” The choices we make in our waiting period are critical. They can propel us forward or away from God. Therefore, when times are difficult, we should hold on to God. Choosing to trust God can help us grow in relationship with Him and glorify Him better.

Know that God is strengthening you spiritually.

We may not always be able to see it, but waiting can really help strengthen us spiritually. When we hear the term spiritual strengthening, we generally think of it as being different from physical strengthening. The truth is there are times the Lord has a plan for our future that we can’t understand. He may have to accomplish it in us before we can handle it. Think about it. If we receive instant direction from God, we would hardly ever be able to exercise true faith. God may be using your waiting period to strengthen you spiritually. A major sign of Christian maturity is when we can wait in confidence peacefully. We can know exactly how to move when we can trust in God’s timing.

Know that patience pays off.

Patience is imperative when it comes to trusting in God’s timing. This is something David and other biblical figures recognized. They knew they needed to wait on the Lord. David discovered that nobody but God could deliver Him. His main hope was for God to answer his prayers. Think about what your prayer looks like right now. Do your prayers revolve around you asking God for what you want with a spirit of hurry because you want immediate answers? Sometimes, God’s answer to us is to simply be patient and wait on him. In Psalm 5:3, David reminds us to listen to God’s voice in the morning. “Each morning, I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly,” David said. We also can trust God’s response, even when it didn’t come when we hoped it would.

Understand that God is building dependence on Him.

There will be periods when our condition is unhealthy physically and emotionally. During these moments, we often lack patience because of the circumstances. We may even begin to look for certain thrills in our lives. When it comes to our physical life, this may show up in the form of obsessions and destructions. These things can destroy us spiritually. The reality of God’s presence is not contingent on our determinations to keep God before us continually. Our problems show up when we refuse to put our trust in God’s presence and timing. We must build dependence on Him if we want to see our lives grow for the better.

Believe that God is transforming your character.

Trusting in God’s timing can build great character. Think about biblical figures like Moses. He became a great leader in His. He also allowed God to work through Him to share many miracles for the children of Israel. This didn’t happen overnight. Moses had to go through a long waiting period in the desert, 40 years to be exact, before God came to Him. When Moses was given a second chance, he decided to go about it in God’s way and trust His timing. Waiting has the power to humble us and make us less rough around the edges. These waiting periods can reveal the Christlike character within us.

There are times when we will be taken off our faith path and struggle with waiting. Sometimes that very impatience can cause us to lose sight of the many blessings God has placed in front of us and miss His Will for our lives. However, when we trust in God’s timing by waiting, we can begin to walk in peace and total certainty. What is more beautiful than this?

Luke 4:14-30 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and a report concerning him went out through all the surrounding country.

Luke 4:14-30

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and a report concerning him went out through all the surrounding country. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read; and there was given to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened the book and found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." And all spoke well of him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, "Is not this Joseph's son?" And he said to them, "Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, `Physician, heal yourself; what we have heard you did at Caper'na-um, do here also in your own country.'" And he said, "Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his own country. But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Eli'jah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land; and Eli'jah was sent to none of them but only to Zar'ephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Eli'sha; and none of them was cleansed, but only Na'aman the Syrian." When they heard this, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. And they rose up and put him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong. But passing through the midst of them he went away.

The Truths About Satan Christians Overlook He is more powerful than many Christians realize. By Megan Bailey

Satan is the chief opponent of God and His people. He is the leader of demonic forces and thrives on tempting Christians into sin. Satan is in an all-out war against the forces of good in the universe, like Jesus Christ. We know this enemy and think we stand firmly against him - but could it be we are underestimating his power?

Having God by our side means that we can overcome anything that Satan tempts us with. However, Satan is more capable than we might originally think. Here are some biblical truths we need to understand if we want to beat him each day.

Satan mimics the Lord.

In 2 Corinthians 11:14 it says, “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” Everything that God does, Satan will try and copy. He is a great actor that knows how to play a role right to deceive and manipulate Christians. The images we see of a red devil with a pitchfork are not reality. Instead, Satan will try to impersonate the angel of light. But inside, Christians will be able to tell there is a great darkness. Being able to discern between the two is easier the closer you are to God’s Word. Become so familiar with the gospel’s truth that Satan will never be able to manipulate you in such a fashion! You will be able to spot him as a counterfeit.

Satan is God’s opponent, not opposite.

Some people that are not familiar with the Bible think that God and Satan are separate equals, but that is not the case. Satan is not omnipresent or omnipotent like God is. His power has limits and he is not able to do everything he wants. He also is not omniscient, meaning he doesn’t know everything. Only God is all-knowing. Isaiah 46:9-10 says, "Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me."

Satan lies.

John 8:44 says, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." Satan can only speak one language...the language of lies. He is incapable of speaking the truth at all. Jesus says that there is no truth left in him, and that all started with Adam and Eve in the garden.

Satan’s power will not last.

Satan had a glorious beginning to his life. You can read about his past in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:13-19. Satan was beautiful, but pride got to his head and he was kicked out of heaven. Despite him once being someone in God’s favor, he now faces eternal judgement. In Revelation 20:10 it says “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Satan knows that his end awaits him. His goal, therefore, is to take as many Christians as he can down with him (Matthew 25:41). We can make sure he doesn’t reach his goals by promoting the gospel and sharing Jesus with others.

Satan is a thief.

In John 10:10 it says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” Satan’s priority is to steal your faith so that you never have a chance at salvation. He does not want people to know the truth about Jesus Christ. If he cannot have that, he will do whatever else he can to steal your vision, destroy your purpose, or strip your hearing. He wants to block you from being able to hear Christ in your heart. He will also do what he can to prevent you from spreading Christ to others by stealing your voice. But Satan can be beat! Continue to resist his urges and temptations and keep your heart and mind focused on God.

Satan is the “god” of the secular world.

Satan’s influence is everywhere in modern society. The sinful condition of man thrives on it. People are blinded by their unbelief, making it easy for Satan to swoop in and influence others. These people are prisoners to their sin and do not even realize it. In 2 Corinthians 4:4 it says “Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” The architect behind all sins is Satan. He wants people to stay confused, blinded, and trapped in the destruction he created.

You have power against Satan.

It can be scary to hear about all the power and influence that Satan has. You, though, already have what you need to overcome him with ease. Satan can attack and wage war against you. He can bring all the forces of darkness, but he can’t overtake you unless you allow it. In John 4:4 it says "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." God has positioned you in the earth for this exact moment in time. He has equipped you and filled you with His Holy Spirit. Satan is weak against Christ!

As you continue your Christian journey, be aware that Satan is always following you and trying to disrupt you path. Christ, though, has given you the power to fight off Satan’s attacks. Push back against his powers of darkness and spread the light of God. The world desperately needs it.

Elon Musk just summed up DOGE’s mission with six words that Democrats will hate

Mar 10, 2025

Democrats are hell-bent on stopping Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from taking an axe to the federal bureaucracy.

Musk and his team have already saved taxpayers more than $105 billion.

But Elon Musk just summed up DOGE’s mission with six words that Democrats will hate.

Donald Trump created the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on his first day in office and tasked Elon Musk with leading the effort to find $1 trillion in waste, fraud, and abuse to cut.

Democrats have been increasingly focusing their attacks against Trump on Elon Musk and DOGE over its massive audit of the federal government.

Some Democrats in Congress are calling for Elon to be arrested and deported back to his original home in South Africa.

At one protest, Democrats were smearing Musk as a racist and a Nazi.

But the massive amount of wasteful spending on outrageous programs has left most Americans stunned.

Donald Trump delivered an address before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday where he laid out his accomplishments and vision for the future.

“We’ve ended the tyranny of so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion policies all across the entire federal government and indeed the private sector and our military, and our country will be woke no longer,” Trump said.

When it comes to woke, Elon Musk and DOGE have terminated DEI contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Trump said he created DOGE to root out the corruption, waste, and fraud in the federal budget.

“To further combat inflation, we will not only be reducing because of energy, but we’ll be ending the flagrant waste of taxpayer dollars, and to that end, I have created the brand-new Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE,” Trump said.

He called out Elon Musk and thanked him for his hard work.

Trump then listed out some of the “appalling waste we have already identified” through DOGE.

“$22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens, $45 million for diversity, equity and inclusion scholarships in Burma, $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants, $8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of, $60 million for Indigenous peoples and Afro-Colombian empowerment in Central America, $60 million. $8 million for making mice transgender, $32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova, $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique, $20 million for the Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East,” Trump said. “A $3.5 million consulting contract for lavish fish monitoring, $1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia, $14 million for social cohesion in Mali, $59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City.”

Trump pointed out that it was Elon Musk and his team of “very intelligent, mostly young people.”

“We found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud, and we’ve taken back the money and reduced our debt to fight inflation and other things,” Trump said.

He warned the Left that Elon Musk and DOGE were just getting started and would find the estimated $500 billion in annual fraud.

In a post on X, Elon Musk summed up DOGE’s mission in six words that will drive the Left mad.

Musk said the goal was to “get the government off your back!”
