One of the most disgusting things about the modern liberal entitlement culture is that it encourages young people to grossly disrespect their elders — while prohibiting those in authority from putting punks in their place.

When a high school student in California was denied his request to have a failing grade of 43% rounded to a passing grade of 70%, he had a total meltdown and exploded on his teacher in the most embarrassing, infantile display of immaturity you will ever see.

His parents must be ashamed. Then again, who knows what kind of parenting the boy has received to behave publicly in that way.

The video seems to have been taken by a classmate at East Side High School in Lancaster, California. The misbehaving student follows his teacher (whom he calls Mr. Hsu) out of the hallway and into the classroom, where he verbally berates him for several minutes — shouting at the top of his lungs the entire time.

During his tantrum, nearly every other word is an expletive. He says “shut your f***ing mouth, f***ing tell me, who the f*** do you think you are.” And it continues to go downhill from there.

When the teacher goes to his desk, the angry student follows him, screaming in his face. When he sees that he won’t get a rise out of the adult, he throws a large garbage bin to the floor, covering the room with trash.

Eventually, the student seems to leave the room. It’s not clear from the video what happened after. What is known is that, once the video hit the internet, people across the country went into outrage over this reprehensible show of entitlement.
Internet users quickly identified the boy as Gideon Yapp. He lives in Lancaster, where his father appears to be an instructor at a martial arts dojo. After Yapp’s identity was revealed, people started sending him negative messages scolding him for his obnoxious behavior.

In response, the bratty student deleted all his social media accounts. It seems he got a taste of his own medicine and couldn’t handle the heat. Often, bullies are insecure individuals who are unable to bear the kind of treatment they dish out so readily on others.

It remains to be seen what punishment, if any, Mr. Yapp will receive. Once the school received word of this issue, they put out the following statement: “We take this type of situation very seriously. Our teachers’ safety is of the utmost importance to us. The incident has been investigated and appropriate action by school administration has been taken.”

Let’s hope the school — and the boy’s parents — do the right thing and give the boy some much-needed discipline. Unfortunately, incidents like this are becoming more and more common as authority figures are told they should not discipline children.
Do you agree this boy needs a healthy dose of old-fashioned discipline immediately? Share this story on Facebook and let us know because we want to hear your voice!
