Pastor Andrew Russell preaches on 1 Corinthians 1:10-17. Paul uses the word brothers’ twice. He speaks as one who loves them. They should love each other, because they are Christian brothers and sisters. They belong to the same spiritual family. God is their father. ‘In complete agreement’ translates a medical word. It is about a way to join bones together that are broken. So, they must mend the broken unity of the church. Then the ‘body’ of the church will be healthy. Chloe may have been a business woman whose servants had travelled from Ephesus to Corinth. They had brought back news about the quarrels in the church at Corinth.
