As you probably heard, I recently became a mom. After nine months of waiting, I finally got to hear my baby boy’s first cries as he came into the world.
Every mom I know would count this as the most joyful moment of her life.
But imagine for a moment you heard those same cries coming from a cold metal garbage can in a dark room…
Imagine hearing the screams of a precious child, completely helpless and defenseless, begging for her mother’s protection, warmth, and love - a baby who has no idea she has been left to die...
carl, I know your first instinct would be to rush to help this child, in any way that you could.
Your basic sense of humanity would compel you to do something. No decent human being would let a newborn infant die alone in a garbage can.
Yet, in a nation that liberated millions from genocidal regimes and champions human rights around the world, our own leaders refuse to protect these helpless children.
On Tuesday, pro-abortion politicians blocked two bills that would protect preborn children: The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
In other words, these politicians heard those cries, walked past the trash can where the baby laid dying, and strolled along to collect their checks from Planned Parenthood’s political action committee.
carl, I hope this is a wake-up call for you. Because it is for me.

I’ve had enough of the euphemisms and excuses that the abortion lobby and their bought-and-paid-for politicians hide behind.

This isn’t just “extreme” or “radical.” This is inhuman and barbaric.
When children in school learn of all the atrocities of history - the Holocaust, slavery, and other human rights abuses - and are told “NEVER AGAIN” can we let this happen, this is EXACTLY what they meant.
Yet, a genocide is happening every day - in our own communities, in our own neighborhoods, just down the street from where we live.
Babies who survive abortion are cast aside, thrown in garbage cans, or taken to dark rooms to die alone as they cry out for their mothers.
Babies who can survive outside of the womb, who can feel pain, are violently killed by ghastly procedures.
In America, a so-called doctor can continue to kill defenseless babies by lethal injection.
In America, a so-called doctor can continue to rip apart defenseless babies alive in the womb with sharp metal instruments.
How is it humane to tear a baby apart, limb from limb? How is it humane to crush a preborn child’s skull?
The answer is it’s not. Plain and simple.
Infanticide...abortion...there is no difference. They’re both wrong. They both kill innocent children.
And, it doesn’t matter at what stage a pregnancy is, abortion is wrong from the moment of conception.
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, were not hard calls to make. Protecting babies should pass by 100-0, every time.
carl, I’m sure you are just as frustrated as I am that many of our so-called leaders don’t possess the moral clarity to defend these precious children.
But YOU can do something. YOU can force them to act.
Pro-abortion politicians may be protecting their abortion industry donors now, but if we change hearts and minds, and educate people about the horrors of abortion, they will hear us loud and clear: Planned Parenthood’s radical agenda does not represent American values.
