Without Republican pushback, terrorists would have gotten the COVID-19 vaccinations before New York 9/11 victims’ families, first-year Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., lamented on Newsmax TV.

“It’s unconscionable to believe that the Biden administration and the Pentagon would think that it is appropriate to put terrorists at the front of the line,” Malliotakis told Saturday’s “The Count.”

“Individuals like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who is 9/11’s mastermind. Somebody who has a community in New York City who lost thousands, we are very offended, and I’m pleased to see – because of everybody being so outspoken throughout the last 24 hours – that they’ve actually rolled back this plan.”

Malliotakis added to co-hosts Heather Childers and Rob Finnerty, it was “outrageous” to even think of putting terrorists in the priority list over veterans, 9/11 first responders, or really any American.

“We really want to know what was behind this decision-making and why they would even think of this as a priority?” she added.

Malliotakis also rebuked Democrats for using COVID-19 as an “excuse to release criminals” back onto the streets.

“Then, we had to fight so hard to get corrections officers, the NYPD, the proper PPE to keep them safe while they did their job,” she said, adding she also had to “fight” to get them on the priority lists for vaccinations.

“So this in the type of thing we’re dealing with on a regular basis. It isn’t always common sense. I am glad to see when people have been vocal we do have these little victories, and it’s a shame I have to call it a victory, but quite frankly it is – at least for those I represent.”
