Ask Ilhan Why Her Beloved Somalia Has Been Starving An ‘Infidel’ Mother And Child To Death
It's easy to snipe at 'evil' Western countries, until you realize what happens elsewhere
Less than 2 months ago, Ilhan Omar scolded Trump’s America for becoming one of the ‘worst’ counties. She should take a closer look at her beloved Somalia.
Here’s Ilhan popping off about how badly America sucks this past June after the crackdown on California riots and a parade celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America’s Army.
“Can you imagine that image that is going to be coming out of our country? I mean, I grew up in a dictatorship, and I don’t even remember ever witnessing anything like that,” Omar said, referring to her early childhood in Somalia.
“To have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world, to now be turned into one of the, you know, one of the worst countries, where the military are in our streets without any regard for people’s constitutional rights, while our president’s spending millions of dollars propping himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade — it is really shocking,” she continued.

A Somali woman was overheard by her Muslim family, listening to Christian music, and punished by being locked in a room. She escaped, fled to another town where she met and married a Christian man. She bore a child. When the family discovered her whereabouts, they caught her, and locked her and her child in a room.
A Christian mother in Somalia has been locked in a room with her infant daughter since Aug. 6 after Muslim relatives relocated her following an earlier escape, sources said.
“My child has grown very thin for lack of enough food,” Fatuma Hassan, 28, told her husband by phone from Afgooye town, in Somalia’s Lower Shebelle Region. “My child is unwanted in the family, who say, ‘Throw away this bastard kid born of an infidel – we want you back, but not the child who deserves no right to live.’ I am always crying for my baby and hope one day I will escape this terrible ordeal to attain my peace and freedom.”
Though Hassan is from a royal family, since accepting Christ she now lives with danger in inhumane conditions as she nurses injuries from relatives beating her, sources said.
“My family and relatives have sworn that they will not allow me to seen the good sunshine until I surrender my Christian faith and return back to Islam,” Hassan told Morning Star News. “But I am praying for God’s intervention to escape and to join my husband once again. More so I need prayers from Christians.”
Before putting her faith in Christ and while still living at her parents’ home, she used to listen to Christian worship songs on her mobile phone, locking herself inside her bedroom, though she did not understand the lyrics. The songs touched her heart, and she had a vision of a person identifying Himself as Issa (Jesus) telling her, “I know you are thirsty. Come and drink of my water,” she said.
“Since then, I started experiencing abundant peace and followed Him,” Hassan said. — MorningStar News
The easy way out of her prison would be to renounce Christ, implicate her husband, and go free. But she is not taking the coward’s way out.
Many Western believers would be strongly tempted to do so. But she has not. She asks for God’s intervention and the prayers of faithful Christians. We at ClashDaily would invite our believing readers to do the same.
But there is one person in particular who can — and should — do something more tangible. If she has any heart at all.
As an elected official representing American interests and — as she is so keen to remind us — the Somali people and culture, Ilhan Omar is in a unique position to speak on behalf of a desperately oppressed woman in a hopeless situation.
Unless, of course, she is supportive of the starvation murder of children who happen to belong to the wrong religion. Or do such ‘humanitarian’ causes only interest you when they are in the service of a political rally?
If she won’t, perhaps Marco Rubio’s team will take an interest in this couple and offer them a safe haven in America.
If Democrats weren’t so busy twisting amnesty into the service of their political ambitions, they might recognize its original purpose. Amnesty was never about a free hotel and an income upgrade from some other country. It was offering a safe place to live and love as you choose.
Having your kid starved to death because you married someone from the ‘wrong’ religion after renouncing Islam IS the kind of thing that Amnesty was intended to address.
