Apostle Paul, using his powerful rhetorical arguments, sought to convince the Roman Christ-followers, who were pressured to disassociate from the Jews, of this simple fact – not everyone who claimed to be a Jew was "truly" so before God.
 
Paul's argument was not at all that “the 'true' Jews were now the Christians” or that “the Jews were no longer really Jewish”. In fact he maintained that the opposite was true. A "true" Jew, according to him was ...
