Proving that the Black Lives Matter movement is not about black American lives at all, but is a collection of anti-Western, anti-Israel, anti-capitalist radicals with global intentions, a BLM delegation arrived in Israel last week to promote “the fight for dignity, justice and freedom” against the Israeli "occupation" and the “genocide” of Palestinian Arabs.
Israel National News reports that the delegation participated in an anti-Israel protest in the Samarian village of Bilin, near Modi’in Illit. Two Arab protesters were arrested during the event.
In a Facebook post last Friday, the delegation from the movement that is supposedly about drawing attention to the black victims of racist police brutality expressed their broader true aims:
In the fight for dignity, justice and freedom... the Movement for Black Lives is committed to the global shared struggle of oppressed people, namely the people of occupied Palestine and other indigenous communities who for decades have resisted the occupation of their land, the ethnic cleansing of their people, and the erasure of their history and experiences.
In this violent, political climate, it is urgent that we make clear the connection between violence inflicted on Black people globally that is encouraged and permitted by the state and the profiling, harm, and genocide funded by the United States and perpetrated by Zionist vigilantes and the Israeli Defense Forces on Palestinian people. Our collective oppression mandates that we work together across geography, language and culture to decry and organize an end to capitalistic, imperialist regimes.
Predictably, BLM also felt compelled to express its support for the anti-Israel BDS movement:
We commit to global struggle, solidarity, and support of the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement to fight for freedom, justice and equality for Palestinian people and to end international support of the occupation.
Not a word about Palestinian terrorism. Just the standard lie that Israel is waging genocide against Palestinian Arabs, who are the fast-growing population in the world. That has to be the most inept genocide in human history.

Apple Replaces Gun Emoji with Water Pistol

"A symbolic gesture to limit gun accessibility."

Apple will replace its gun emoji with a water pistol in its next version of the iPhone and iPad.
The water gun swap is not Apple's first foray into cartoon gun control. Earlier this year the governing body in charge of emojis nixed a proposed rifle emoji. It was one of a number of possible new additions, but Unicode Consortium members Apple and Microsoft argued against the Olympics-inspired gun, according to Buzzfeed.
The gun emoji has gotten some users in trouble. A 12-year-old in Virginia was charged after using the gun, knife and bomb emoji to threaten a school. A teenager in Brooklyn was arrested after using a police emoji with a gun pointed at its head.
The move is the result of a campaign by leftist group New Yorkers Against Gun Violence. The group sent a letter "as a symbolic gesture to limit gun accessibility."
"Apple has stood up to the bullying tactics of the NRA and gun industry by showing that there are many more life-affirming ways to express oneself than with a gun," said Leah Barrett, NYAGV's Executive Director on Monday.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke to his supporters about Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail yesterday. He weighed in on Sanders' decision to endorse Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention.
Trump said Sanders should have stayed in the race and not endorsed Clinton.
"He would’ve been a hero," Trump said. "But he made a deal with the devil. She’s the devil. He made a deal with the devil."
Trump has implied Clinton was the devil before, saying Sanders had sold his soul to the devil, but this time he was much more direct.
Trump also said he looks forward to the debate with Clinton.
"I look so forward to the debate with Hillary, I look so forward."

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio will host a high dollar lunch fundraiser for Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
According to Variety magazine the event will cost $33,400-per-person and be marketed as a "Conversation with Hillary."
The event on Aug. 23 is priced at $33,400-per-person and is billed as a “Conversation with Hillary.” The first $2,700 will go to the Clinton campaign, and the remainder will do to the Democratic National Committee and state and local parties. Complete details are to be announced on Tuesday. Sources said plans were in the works for the event to take place at his home, but they were still being finalized.
The night before the DiCaprio event, entertainment heavyweights Haim and Cheryl Saban wil host another fundraiser for Clinton. For a $100,000 donation, one can be a host for the event.
The night before, a number of entertainment figures are planning a dinner-time event. Deadline reported last week that the Aug. 22 will be hosted at the home of Haim and Cheryl Saban, although sources said that plans were still being finalized. Sources say the list of co-hosts also includes Thomas Tull and his wife Alba, Megan and Peter Cherin, Robert Iger and Willow Bay, Casey and Laura Wasserman, Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg and Jon and Ellen Vein. Tickets start at $2,700 per person, and run to $27,000 for co-host level and $100,000 for host. The latter includes a dinner and photo with Clinton.
Another southern California event is being planned for the "low dollar" donor.

University education has become the stuff of satire... or more accurately, the kind of drivel one might hear emanating from a padded cell at Bellevue.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is back in the news again, this time with its new online guide for how to address people by their preferred gender/non-gender pronoun. To note, the guide was published by the State run school's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center.
The guide offers a complex slew of pronouns including “zie,” “zim,” “faerself,” “verself,” “terself” and “xemself.”
[...] “It is a privilege to not have to worry about which pronoun someone is going to use for you based on how they perceive your gender,” the UW-Milwaukee pronoun guide warns. “If you have this privilege, yet fail to respect someone else’s gender identity, it is not only disrespectful and hurtful, but also oppressive.”
The UW-Milwaukee Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center employs two full-time, taxpayer-funded staffers. They are Jeanette Martín, “a first generation Chicana” who believes passionately in social justice, and Jennifer Murray, who uses “the framework and lens of her lived experience with the Social Justice Training Institute.”
Below are screenshots of the guide's rather complex array of pronouns, along with a worksheet to test out your progressive, political corectness-skills:

Venezuela's election board has reviewed the petitions for the first phase of a recall of socialist President Nicolas Maduro and determined that the opposition movement had adequately collected the necessary signatures to move forward.
However, council head Tibisay Lucena called for a judicial probe to look into some cases of identity fraud:
The timing is crucial because if Maduro were to lose a referendum this year, as polls indicate he would due to an economic crisis, that would trigger a new presidential vote, giving the opposition a chance to end 17 years of socialism.
But should he lose a referendum next year, Maduro, 53, would be replaced by his vice president, maintaining the Socialist Party in power until the OPEC nation's next presidential election scheduled for the end of 2018.
The opposition is pushing Lucena to set a date for the collection of 4 million signatures to trigger the actual recall.
"Only one step remaining," tweeted opposition lawmaker Freddy Guevara. "The better Venezuela is coming."
The government still insists there will be no referendum to recall Maduro. "Legally, it is dead," said senior Socialist Party leader Jorge Rodriguez.
But Lucena confirmed that the opposition collected twice as many signatures (408,000) as necessary for the first phase of the recall.

If you were starting to think that the media was giving far more time to the Khan family than the Smith family, well, you aren't crazy. An analysis by the Media Research Center shows coverage of the Khan family has thus far received 50 times more coverage on the major networks.
Patricia Smith, mother of fallen Benghazi victim Sean Smith, called out Hillary Clinton at the Republican National Convention over her lies about the deaths of four Americans in the Benghazi terrorist attack of September 11, 2012. A week after Smith gave her speech, Khizr and Ghazla Khan gave a speech hailing their late son who fought and died in Iraq, and used that as a springboard to attack Donald Trump.
The mainstream networks loved the Khan story, but basically ignored the Smith story.
While all the grieving parents deserve sympathy, the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) network evening and morning shows seemed to only care about the parents that showed up at the Democratic Convention. Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazla’s DNC appearance earned 55 minutes, 13 seconds of Big Three network coverage, nearly 50 times more than Pat Smith, whose RNC speech honoring her son earned just 70 seconds of airtime.
In the days (July 19 to August 1) that followed Smith’s indictment of Clinton from the RNC podium, CBS (3 seconds) ABC (13 seconds) and NBC (54 seconds) gave her speech a total of just 70 seconds of coverage.
In the four days (July 29 to August 1) following Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala’s speech NBC (31 minutes, 39 seconds), offered the most amount of time followed by ABC (14 minutes, 21 seconds) and then CBS (9 minutes, 13 seconds).
MRC also points out that the morning shows of the main networks have covered the Khan family extensively, including with personal interviews, while Smith remains ignored.
