India: Two Muslims on way to mosque to pray stop to molest 12-year-old girl

Muhammad’s favorite wife was all but six when he married her, nine when he consummated the marriage. Of course there is no marriage in this story, but Mohammad Iqbal and Mohammad Rashid are by no means alone among Muslims in thinking that little girls are legitimate objects of sexual interest. And they have also almost certainly been taught that infidel girls are theirs for the taking, particularly if their heads are not covered. Thus they felt free to brutalize and try to rape this little 12-year-old girl.
“Baghsewania tense after molestation bid on 12 yr old girl,” Free Press Journal, May 27, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Bhopal : Tension gripped Baghsewania area following alleged molestation of a 12-year-old girl by two bike-borne youths in broad daylight on Friday. The accused also thrashed a minor boy, who came to the rescue of victim.
When local people started gathering at the crime scene, the accused duo entered into a mosque to save themselves. They were later arrested by the police from the mosque in the evening.
According to in-charge of Bagsewania police, S-I Rajkumar Dangi, both the arrested accused were identified as Mohammad Nihal and Mohammad Rashid, of Jatkhedi in Misrod area.
On Friday afternoon they were going to a mosque to offer namaz when they spotted a minor girl in Baghmugaliya area. The victim was going to her grandmother’s place alone.
Finding her alone, they started molesting her and also made lewd remarks. When she tried to avoid them, the duo tried to strip her and snatched her dupatta after which the terrified girl raised an alarm. Hearing her screams, a 14-year-old boy Shubham tried to save her from the clutches of the accused. His intervention irked the duo, who thrashed him badly….
S-I Rajkumar Dangi along with his subordinate staff reached the mosque and after discussing with Imam, both the accused were taken to police custody at 7:30pm….

Algerian Blogger Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison For Interviewing Israeli

An Algerian blogger named Merzoug Touati was just sentenced to 10 years in prison for the crime of interviewing an Israeli foreign ministry spokesman.
His lawyer told local media that the conviction came from charges of sharing sensitive intelligence information with the Israeli — but that the charge was untrue.
Merzoug Touati was just sentenced to 10 years in prison for interviewing an Israeli.
An appeal is in process in the mostly Muslim nation. But the blogger, 30, is behind bars, while his appeal goes forward.
An Algerian blogger has appealed a 10-year prison term imposed on him for interviewing an Israeli foreign ministry spokesman, his lawyer said on Sunday, according to AFP.
The blogger, Merzoug Touati, was convicted on Thursday of providing intelligence to “agents of a foreign power” likely to damage Algeria, by a court in Bejaia, east of Algiers.
The 30-year-old blogger submitted his appeal the following day and was feeling “optimistic”, his lawyer Boubakeur Esseddik Hamaili said.
“I have seen my client, he is doing well and is a tower of strength. He proclaims his innocence as he has done nothing but exercise his rights guaranteed by the constitution,” the lawyer added.
Touati has been in prison since his arrest in January 2017 over an online video interview with an Israeli foreign ministry spokesman. He was also under arrest for a Facebook post in which he called for protests against a new financial law, reported AFP.
During his trial the court dropped three additional charges including incitement against the state, which his lawyer said carries the death sentence.
The 10-year jail term was described as “utterly shocking” by Amnesty International, which said Touati had been convicted “solely for expressing his peaceful opinion online”.
Reporters Without Borders also condemned the sentence as “disproportionate and unjustified” and said a social network post should not lead to imprisonment.
Hamaili did not confirm when his client’s appeal would be heard in court.
Algeria, like many Muslim states, does not have relations with Israel. In April, an Algerian court sentenced eight people to 10 years in prison over espionage for Israel.
The eight were arrested in an operation carried out by the Algerian police in 2015 in the city of Ghardaia, 600 kilometers south of Algiers, and were allegedly found with documents and communications equipment related to espionage for Israel.
Last January, Algeria claimed it uncovered an international spy network made up of 10 members that was operating for Israel and was based in southern Algeria.

Donald Trump: ‘I Wish I Did’ Pick Someone Other Than Jeff Sessions as Attorney General (So Does The American People)

President Donald Trump, citing remarks made by Rep. Trey Gowdy on Fox News, expressed frustration with his attorney general and tweeted out a wish that he could have chosen someone other than Jeff Sessions for the job.
Funny. That’s what a lot of conservatives have been saying and thinking for some time.
Trump’s tweet came after Gowdy said on Fox that he understood why the president was a bit frustrated with Sessions, because Sessions could have given a heads-up he was going to recuse himself from the Russia investigation before he was tapped for the attorney general position.
And this:
And then this:
From Breitbart:
President Donald Trump again expressed his frustration with Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Twitter Wednesday, citing remarks from Rep. Trey Gowdy on Fox News.
Gowdy said that he understood why Trump was frustrated with Sessions, because the Alabama Senator should have explained to the president that he would recuse himself from the Russia investigation before taking the job.
“There are lots of really good lawyers in the country, he could have picked somebody else,” Gowdy concluded.
“And I wish I did!” Trump added on Twitter.
Trump frustration with Sessions has mounted in recent days, particularly after learning that Sessions was a key witness for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of charges against the president for obstruction.
The New York Times reported that Trump asked Sessions in March 2017 to un-recuse himself from the Russia investigation.
Sessions refused, prompting more anger from the president.
