Spiritual Seduction of the Vulnerable :: By Geri Ungurean

As I am beginning to write this article, I must tell the reader that the Lord showed me how the heretical and satanic practices of Bethel Church and other NAR churches who teach aberrant “doctrines of demons” breaks His heart. When He revealed that to me, my heart broke, and I have been weeping for over an hour.
Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries just finished a two-part interview of the parents of Caitlin, who was seduced into this “cult.” These people literally lost their child to Bethel. Jan asked me if I would write on the interview and expose in depth the practices of Bethel and other NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) churches.
I pray that this article travels far and wide and that the Lord would direct it into the hands of many who are spiritual prisoners of Satan because of Bethel and other NAR churches.

We know that doctrines of demons come from the devil.  But have you wondered what vehicle Satan uses to seduce the children of God?
I have written extensively on Yoga and the Kundalini serpent (demonic spirit). In those writings, I have attempted to warn Christians of the dangers of Yoga, and that even without taking part in the “meditation” the Christian is still at high risk of demonic influence or even possession.
Each “pose” in Yoga is submission to a Hindu god.  Yes, you read that right. What the Christian believes is just stretching their bodies, is in truth telling the gods of Hinduism that you welcome them. The most dangerous of these gods (demons) is the Kundalini serpent.

Have you watched videos about “holy laughter” or have seen people writhing about on the floor?  If you have seen these demonic manifestations, then you know that something has gone amuck in the NAR churches where these practices take place.
There is absolutely nothing in the Word of God about these bizarre practices.
What you may not know is that “holy laughter” and other strange behavior in the church comes straight from Hinduism. Perhaps these people, including Bill Johnson (head pastor of Bethel), think that our God has gifted their people with these strange behaviors.
God has NO part in this.
But the god of this world has everything to do with it.

The reader should note that the Kundalini spirit in Hinduism is their version of the Holy Spirit Who lives in the true children of God.  
Brethren, let us look closely at the teachings and doctrines of Bethel Church.
Sozo Counseling 
Question: “What is Sozo ministry / Sozo prayer?”
Answer: Sozo ministry, or Sozo prayer (from the Greek word for “save” or “deliver”), is defined as “a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Sozo has its roots in the Charismatic movement, being created by a group of people from the Bethel Church in Redding, California, and modeled after spiritual practices observed at revivals in Argentina. The group that originated Sozo is tied to such aberrant movements as the Toronto Blessing and the New Apostolic Reformation
A Sozo session is designed to provide Holy Spirit-led wholeness and freedom for the Sozoee (the one seeking deliverance). Sozo requires the presence of a mediator or guide who is trained to walk Sozoees through a time of prayer and reflection that is supposed to facilitate intimacy with God. The facilitator guides the Sozoee through an ascent of the “Father Ladder,” in which the Sozoee is encouraged to “visualize” God and speak to the image of the Lord created in the mind’s eye.
This is followed by identifying various “doors” that have allowed sin to enter one’s life, closing them, and “sealing” them by the blood of Jesus. Obstacles to the process are identified as “walls” that must be torn down. When a “door” is closed or a “wall” is demolished, the Sozoee is told to give a single clap of the hands, supposedly to help disengage the lie that had taken root in his or her mind. Past hurts are explored as various “rooms” of the mind are opened and searched—Sozo practitioners even claim to track down spiritual wounds acquired in the womb! Of course, none of this is found in Scripture.
According to the Bethel Sozo website, one of the goals of Sozo is to enable participants to “heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfill your destiny.” Sozo aims for the complete healing of body, soul, and spirit. Sozoees will know their deliverance is complete when they are able to discern that the “strong man” has been defeated (based on Mark 3:27).
One of the emphases of Sozo is extending forgiveness to those who have wounded or in some way committed an offense against the Sozoee. Forgiveness is granted in order to bring about certain blessings:
– forgiveness relieves one of a burden he had carried
– forgiveness frees one from a “prison of torment”
– forgiveness closes a “door” that was allowing Satan access to one’s life
– forgiveness allows one to “step out of the way” and let God have a “direct line” to the offender
Intimacy with God is definitely something we should seek, and forgiveness of others is a biblical command; however, the methodology of Sozo is questionable at best. Attaining intimacy with God via a facilitated mental journey through visualizations and new spiritual experiences is fraught with danger.
Our motivation for forgiveness should be more than just the blessings we reap from “letting go.” We forgive in obedience to God and because we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Maturity in Christ comes with the exercise of the spiritual gifts within the church and “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:11–16). Sanctification comes through the Word of God (John 17:17).
The experience-based, extra-biblical practices of Sozo are of human invention and require human instruction—not to mention the payment of a “suggested donation.” With its visualization techniques, guided meditation, and “soaking prayer,” Sozo is, in many ways, closer to New Age mysticism than to Christianity.
The Bible tells us that a Christian’s peace is found in prayer and thanksgiving, not through being “Sozoed” (Philippians 4:6–7). A Christian’s destiny is to be conformed to the image of God’s Son (Romans 8:29), and God will complete His work in him (Philippians 1:6). A Christian has no need of extra, man-made programs when he has already been blessed with “every spiritual gift in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 1:3). A Christian has the written Word of God and needs not seek further messages from God or new experiences in the spiritual realm.
One of our goals is to “no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching” (Ephesians 4:14). Sozo is yet another “wind of teaching” that believers moving toward maturity would do well to avoid. – source
During Jan Markell’s two part interview with the distraught parents of a “lost” child, Caitlin, to the cult of Bethel church, they revealed that during the “Sozo” counseling, the practice of regressive memories (false memories planted in the victim’s mind) was used with their daughter. Bethel had her convinced that she was abused by her parents and that Bethel would keep her safe from them.

Fire Tunnels
Fire tunnels are used at Bethel and other NAR churches:
“The practice of “fire tunnels” is a relatively new phenomenon. The basic idea is that people form 2 lines (i.e. a “tunnel”) through which others walk to receive laying on of hands, prayer, prophecy, and “impartation of the spirit.” There are often physical manifestations noted in the participants going through the tunnels. Manifestations include appearing drunk, hysterical laughing, falling down, and twitching. It is important to note that NO Scriptural support or precedent can be found for this practice.”  source

Grave Soaking
I am hoping that the reader has discerned by now that these aberrant practices at Bethel are completely NEW AGE. In the practice of “Grave Soaking,” it is taught that lying upon the gravesite of famous Christians will allow the person to “soak up” the anointing of the deceased person.
The practice of Grave Soaking is so over-the-top New Age (and might I add “creepy”?). The people who are participating must be possessed. I have no other explanation.

Sometimes Todd from “Wretched” is a bit too much for me, and I hardly use him. But in this instance, I believe that he presents Love Bombing for what it is. He also makes an observation about the lack of love in many sound churches. Oh, Satan is so very sneaky.

NAR churches and the Seven Mountain Mandate
What is the seven mountain mandate, and is it biblical?
Answer: The seven mountain mandate or the seven mountain prophecy is an anti-biblical and damaging movement that has gained a following in some Charismatic and Pentecostal churches. Those who follow the seven mountain mandate believe that, in order for Christ to return to earth, the church must take control of the seven major spheres of influence in society for the glory of Christ. Once the world has been made subject to the kingdom of God, Jesus will return and rule the world.
Here are the seven mountains, according to the seven mountain mandate:
1) Education
2) Religion
3) Family
4) Business
5) Government/Military
6) Arts/Entertainment
7) Media
These seven sectors of society are thought to mold the way everyone thinks and behaves. So, to tackle societal change, these seven “mountains” must be transformed. The mountains are also referred to as “pillars,” “shapers,” “molders,” and “spheres.” Those who follow the seven mountain mandate speak of “occupying” the mountains, “invading” the culture, and “transforming” society.
The seven mountain mandate has its roots in dominion theology, which started in the early 1970s with a goal of “taking dominion” of the earth, twisting Genesis 1:28 to include a mandate for Christians to control civil affairs and all other aspects of society. The New Apostolic Reformation, with its self-appointed prophets and apostles, has also influenced the seven mountain movement, lending dreams and visions and other extra-biblical revelations to the mandate.
The seven mountain mandate says that it is the duty of all Christians to create a worldwide kingdom for the glory of Christ. Teachers in the movement use Isaiah 2:2, which mentions mountains, in an attempt to support their view: “In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.” The principal goal of dominion theology and the seven mountain mandate is political and religious domination of the world through the implementation of the moral laws—and subsequent punishments—of the Old Testament.
Lance P. Wallnau coined the term seven mountain mandate and is its most prominent teacher. Wallnau adapts the missionary mandate of Jesus to His disciples to “go and make disciples” of all the nations into a mandate to effect social transformation. He reasons that, since churches already have a presence in every nation in the world, we need to now concentrate on influencing the systems (the “mountains”) within these nations. The problem, according to Wallnau, is that Christians are not currently influencing society outside the church. Christians have left the mountains susceptible to the “gates of hell,” which are spiritual portals over the “kings” (influence-shapers) of those mountains.
Wallnau’s teaching is loosely based on the Abrahamic Covenant, which promised Abraham a seed and a lasting inheritance. Also, Israel was promised in Deuteronomy 28:12–14 to be the “head and not the tail” among the nations. Proponents of the seven mountain mandate infer that the church, not Israel, is the entity to claim that promise. It is now up to believers to move in proximity to the “gates of hell” and position themselves to exert the greatest amount of influence. The church then needs to be dissected into “micro components” and infiltrate the mountains. Since every Christian can’t position himself at the top of every mountain, each individual is to find his particular smaller peak and be a leader in that realm.
The leading edge of the seven mountain mandate is the New Apostolic Reformation, which teaches that the church of the 21st century will be ruled by apostles and prophets. The movement is not governed by a specific denomination but by the alleged apostles and prophets who, of course, claim to receive direct revelation from God. In lending credence to modern-day prophets and apostles, the NAR denigrates the Bible and sola scriptura, emphasizes experience-oriented theology, and promotes mysticism.
The NAR and proponents of the seven mountain mandate have abandoned biblical teaching on the end times, choosing to believe that Christians must set the stage for Jesus’ second coming by achieving dominion over the world’s systems. According to 7-M theology, Jesus will only return to a world that mirrors the kingdom of God. This idea parallels the New Age teaching that anticipates a cosmic spiritual shift when man becomes a co-redeemer of Planet Earth.
Christians are called to be lights in the world (Matthew 5:14). There is no biblical requirement, however, to take the helm of all the world systems in order to usher in Christ’s kingdom. The Bible says that the world will grow worse, not better, in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1, 13; 2 Peter 3:3).  (Emphasis added)
The theology associated with the seven mountain mandate is dangerous, and it sheds a terribly negative light on Christians everywhere. The 7-M teaching puts a tremendous burden on believers to perform, make progress in their relative spheres of influence, and set the stage for Jesus’ return to earth—all without a definite end point. Little emphasis is placed on the gospel message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; the movement is more about staking claims and taking control. The seven mountain mandate is a movement led by false prophets, and it should be avoided and exposed whenever Bible-believing Christians encounter it. – source
When will people who are attempting to serve the Lord finally realize that He has everything we need to know in His Word? These grandiose ideas born out of the minds of men are stubble – nothing – God created the Universe and He created us. How arrogant for any of us to think that our ideas are better than His!
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord.
‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts’” (Isaiah 55:8-9).
God does NOT need our help.  He needs for us to love and obey Him, to be Salt and Light in this dark world – and to occupy until He returns for us.
I hope and pray that I have equipped the brethren with enough solid information about Bethel and about NAR churches everywhere, that many will know how to speak to those who have fallen victim to this grand deception.
I also pray that if you are one who fell for this New Age heresy, that the Lord will use this article to convict you to leave this Cult called Bethel Church; or if you are in another NAR church with similar errant and evil teachings – that God will give you the strength to run from that place and never look back.
Please pray for the distraught parents in Jan’s interview and for their daughter, Caitlin. Pray that the Holy Spirit might even come to her in her dreams and reveal to her that she is in a cult and that she must come out.
And for the parents – that God will give them His peace which does pass all understanding.

The Status Quo is About to Be Upended
We are watching every precursor to last days events falling right into place. As horrific as things are here and everywhere else for those who are believers and for the world in general, it’s so exciting to see every little piece of the end-times puzzle fitting right into place.
We are living in a weird place between what appears to be on one hand a return to American pride with a seeming chance at restoring “peace and prosperity,” and hanging over the cliff of complete devastation on the other. It is a weird dichotomy in which we are living. We could well see Isaiah 17 erupt in the next few weeks or even days (I am NOT predicting anything, merely surmising based on current events).
Turkey’s Erdogan (the modern-day Sultan wannabe) just solidified his hold in Turkey in their latest “election,” while in Russia, Putin, that sly old KGB fox, is working behind the scenes doing all he can to strengthen his hold in the Middle East, just biding his time until he feels the time is most advantageous for him to strike Israel.
And what event would be big enough for Putin to feel that he was free from the almost certain ramifications and retaliation from the United States, Israel’s staunchest, most ardent ally and defender? Why, an America that has been devastated and decimated by the rapture would certainly be a major green light for Putin to believe that he had a clear shot at what he’s always been salivating over – Israel’s “spoils” of oil and natural gas (God’s “hook in the jaws” of Gog as per Ezekiel 38-39).
Iran is openly pursuing her nuclear goals again, thumbing her nose at the whole world while the UN – the Useless Nations – sit idly by defending the tyrants and blaming Israel for everything wrong under the sun.
North Korea is back to her old communist ways also continuing to go forward with its nuclear program despite the recent peace talks between Kim Jong Un and President Trump.
Meanwhile, within the morass of the so-called Palestinian Authority, Abbas has one foot in the grave and the other on a wet banana peel with the Palestinian people being used as cannon fodder in the PA’s continuing suicidal hatred of Israel.
Bashar Assad in Syria thinks his situation is solidifying (all the while, the evil grand maestro Putin is playing Assad like a master violinist playing a Stradivarius). Iran is continuing to become more entrenched in Syria – especially Iran is being drawn into DAMASCUS. Israel knows she’s going to have to move soon against Iran’s continued presence in Syria because she (Israel) cannot allow Iran a stronger foothold there (can anyone say Isaiah 17?).
Almost every volcano in countries all along the Pacific Rim are in some state of eruption with many more once dormant ones becoming, not only active, but causing rising death tolls and destruction as they awaken and strengthen. Sink holes are opening up all over the place as the very ground underneath our feet becomes more and more unstable. Kilauea in Hawaii is continuing to erupt with no sign of stopping or even slowing down. The Yellowstone caldera in the US is waking up; and now, low and behold, geologists have found another super volcano, unknown before, lying under the New England states.
A new strain of Avian flu has breached the species barrier between birds and humankind, and is already beginning to make a slow burn throughout China. If it breaches the borders there, there is a high possibility that it will be poised to become a global pandemic along the scale of the Spanish influenza of 1917-18 that killed in the tens of millions worldwide.
All forms of social media and internet giants such as Google, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, et al, are cracking down on free speech in any form. Facebook – the NWO’s global version of George Orwell’s Big Brother – is tightening its “security” by the end of next month, which means that the global social- engineering giant Facebook will take another giant step in making it much more “secure” from the likes of us: political conservatives, and more importantly, Biblical believers (their real enemies).
Once our ability to freely spread the gospel, defend the faith, and speak truth in an open forum is severely compromised or shut down completely, then there won’t be any point for the Church to remain here. Besides, as we plainly see now, very few are listening anyway.
In Revelation 3, Jesus tells the Church of Philadelphia that He knows that she has “but a little strength.” Well, the Remnant Church is right there now. The very next thing of which He reminded the Philadelphia Church was of an open door that only He could open and close.
I am NOT making any predictions, nor am I setting any dates for the timing of the rapture, so let’s get that established now. All I am doing is giving a “watchman on the wall” report of the lateness of the hour and of the impending event that is going to rock this world like nothing ever has before—an event that will shatter forever the status quo that the majority of the world is clinging to with such futile hope. Jesus is coming for His bride; and when He does, NOTHING will remain the same from that point on. So get ready. Come to salvation NOW if you are lost.
I know I’m “preaching to the choir” here, but I want us all to be encouraged because we really ARE right on the cusp of the rapture. Hang in there believers and keep on keeping on. I expect that July (if we even get there) or the rest of this year, should we still be here, has the potential to be very significant. Keep looking up!

Many people get bogged down in religion. Religion consists of rites and rules. Christianity isn’t a religion; it’s faith. Unfortunately, many people have perverted the Gospel by bringing in the doctrines of men. What is the Gospel? It’s Good News. To appreciate the Good News, you first need to understand the bad news.
Human beings are sinners. You are and I am. We don’t like to admit that fact, and mostly we judge our actions by human terms. “I’m as good as the next guy.” That’s not good enough to allow you to stand in the presence of God Almighty. The “next guy” is a sinner just like you.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;“ (Romans 3:23).
We don’t recognize our sin for a couple of reasons. We can justify our own sins and we don’t look at sin through the eyes of God.
Sin is rebellion to God. Only His opinion matters and there’s no negotiating with Him. If that seems unfair to you, then that’s a sign that you’re in rebellion to Him. You want life on your own terms with no thought to consequences of your actions.
Sin always causes damage. God gave us rules to protect us from ourselves. All things in life have rules, but we only rebel against God’s rules. Have you ever played baseball? The rules say you only get three strikes. Do you have to be at work by a certain time or be fired? If you break the rules, you face the consequences. These are rules that we just accept. Why, then, do we rebel against God when the rules He gave us are to protect us?
“For the wages of sin is death…“ (Romans 6:23a).
When we rebel against God, we choose our own destruction. The death referred to isn’t just moving from this mortal life to the next one. The death referred to is eternal death. When a human dies, the mortal body goes to the grave but their spirit lives eternally. We all make our own choice as to where we spend that eternity.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord“ (Romans 6:23b).
That’s good news.
The first rebellion against God was when Lucifer/Satan/the devil decided he wanted to be like God. He led a band of angels in rebellion; and when he couldn’t prevail against God, he decided to convince Adam and Eve to rebel.
God had placed them in the Garden of Eden where they had everything they could possibly want. Satan convinced Eve to eat the one thing that God had forbidden them to eat. He told her God had lied when He said that they would die if they ate the fruit… that God knew they would become gods if they ate it. Satan lied. By eating the forbidden fruit Adam caused the fall of mankind; and today we’re under the curse of death.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned“ (Romans 5:12).
Adam’s sin broke fellowship with God, but it didn’t stop God from loving His creation.
Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, and their life became full of heartache and toil. They watched as their son Cain murdered his brother Abel. They watched as their daughters and granddaughters mated with rebellious angels and saw all of God’s creation corrupted. God judged this rebellion by sending the Flood. Today we’re living in the same rebellion to God that has existed since Adam chose to eat that fruit.
None of this surprised God. God exists outside of time, and He knew that the rebellion would happen. He didn’t want it to happen but He loved His creation enough to allow free will. Each and every person has the choice to follow God’s ways or the ways of the world controlled by Satan.
Only eight genetically pure humans entered the Ark. Their genes weren’t corrupted through mating with the fallen angels. What Noah and his family had witnessed prior to the Flood should have convinced them to follow God’s laws without question, but the sin nature was still there. It wasn’t long before sin was rampant. When the time was right God called a man out of a pagan culture to follow God and become the father of His chosen people.
“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went“ (Hebrews 11:8).
By faith the Hebrew nation began.
Many years after Abraham lived, God’s chosen people would go into Egyptian captivity. When the time was right, God called another man to lead the people out of Egypt. Moses was born Hebrew but was raised in the pagan culture of Egyptian royalty. Eventually Moses had to flee to Midian, and there he met God. This encounter was life-changing. God directed him to return to Egypt and petition Pharaoh to set the Hebrews free from the slavery they had been living in for centuries.
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured as seeing him who is invisible“ (Hebrews 11:27).
Instead of looking to the pagan world for answers, Moses had faith in God. That faith caused him to confront Pharaoh, and eventually the Hebrews were set free. In faith Moses led them to Mt. Sinai where God made His laws clear. Most people can name one or two of the Ten Commandments, but those are just a small part of the entire Law.
The first Commandment is “Thou shalt have no other gods before me“ (Exodus 20).
Satan wanted to be like God and convinced Eve that sinning would make her like God. There is no God but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and no god is to be put before Him. Not the god of self, riches, greed, or any other idol that causes us to turn from Him. Still, people rebel. We listen to Satan’s lies rather than God’s truth and then blame God when we run into trouble and get hurt. The Law was given as protection. If followed, it would separate the Israelites from the pagan culture around them.
“Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster“ (Galatians 3:24-25).
The Law was just one step in the perfect plan of salvation that God had devised before the foundation of the Earth was laid.
The Jewish Law is recorded in the Torah—the first five books of the Bible. Nobody can follow that Law perfectly. It was given to the Jewish people, but it is the rules for all of mankind. We might think we can follow it, but people have lower standards than God.
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: but I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire“ (Matthew 5:21-22).
God’s standards are much higher than humans who follow the god of this world.
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart“ (Matthew 5:27-28).
Do you watch movies which are designed to provoke lust? Do you ogle every woman who walks by you? God’s plan is that one man and one woman come together as man and wife and cleave to one another. Anything other than that is sin. Don’t think this is limited to men looking at women; it pertains to every lust of the flesh.
Is there any hope for us?
“O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?“ (Romans 7:24).
It was never God’s will that humans be separated from Him. Still, He gave Adam and Eve the right to choose to obey Him or to rebel. Eve followed the wrong rules and allowed Satan to talk her into choosing death. Adam could have chosen not to join in the sin, but he also chose rebellion against God. Through Adam, humans have inherited the sin nature. Through it all, God had a plan to heal that separation.
“For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins“ (Hebrews 10:4).
The Law stipulated blood sacrifices of animals to cover sin, but only the pure blood of God, untainted by sin, can take sin away. God Himself entered His creation and shed His perfect blood for our redemption.
Listen carefully. There is only one way for you to be reconciled to God. Only one. That is faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Law taught God’s expectations, but He knew that people wouldn’t be able to live up to those standards. If God lowered His standards, then He wouldn’t be God….sovereign and holy. The once for all sacrifice was made by God Himself…Jesus Christ.
God’s love is perfect. There’s no sin that’s beyond His forgiveness. Most of us know this verse, but let’s say it together:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life“ (John 3:16).
We all need to understand those words. God loves us. God gave His only begotten Son to pay the price for our sin.
Jesus came because He loves us; He didn’t come to condemn us. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God“ (John 3:17-18).
God doesn’t condemn us…we condemn ourselves. The only unforgivable sin is rejection of Jesus Christ. If we choose not to believe in Jesus Christ, then we choose eternal death. That choice has to be made while you live on this side of Heaven.
That’s the Gospel…that’s the Good News. Our sins are forgiven by faith in Jesus.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures“ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
No ritual can bring salvation…not following the Jewish Law, Catholic guidelines, or any other religion not based upon faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is an individual choice. If someone baptized you when you were a baby, you need to make your own choice today.
God’s Law hasn’t changed. Sin as disclosed by Scripture is still sin today. There’s only one way for your sin to be forgiven, and that’s first to recognize that you’re a sinner and then accept the shed blood of Jesus Christ for your redemption. Do that today…right now. Tomorrow may be too late. That’s the Gospel truth.

Has it Already Started? :: By Daymond Duck

A few weeks ago, Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu was talking about Israel’s conflict with Iran and Hezbollah in Syria; and he said, “It is not over.”
He recently saw fit to repeat that statement.
I have often said everything Jesus said is important, but the things He said more than once are very, very important.
When Mr. Netanyahu deliberately repeats something, it is very, very important.
On June 21, 2018, Israel Today Magazine carried an article by Yochanan Visser titled “ANALYSIS: Has Iran’s Multi-Front War Against Israel Already Begun?”
Every good student of Bible prophecy knows that Prime Min. Netanyahu was right when he said, “It is not over,” but Mr. Visser’s article generates at least three questions.
One, has the Psa. 83 War started (if there is one because some writers include it as part of the Battle of Gog and Magog)?
Two, are the events that are taking place in Syria a prelude to the destruction of Damascus (Isa. 17)?
Three, is the Battle of Gog and Magog on the horizon (Ezek. 38-39)?
First, concerning the possibility that the Psa. 83 War has started; since March 30, 2018, under the influence of Iran, thousands of Hamas terrorists and Palestinians have been rioting in Gaza, firing rockets and mortars into Israel, sending helium-filled balloons with bombs into Israel, etc.
These crude weapons have destroyed thousands of acres of Israeli crops and forests. And the Hamas terrorists and Palestinians say they plan to keep doing it.
Dozens of Hamas terrorists and Palestinians have been killed and thousands have been wounded.
About 200,000 Israelis are sent scurrying to bomb shelters every night.
Israeli officials say they have plans to stop it, they are prepared for war, they will be forced to launch a major invasion of Gaza soon, etc.
Three days before the Visser article, the situation was bad enough to cause the UN Sec. Gen. Antonio Guterres to warn the UN Security Council that Israel and Gaza are “close to the brink of war.”
Second, concerning the destruction of Damascus, troops from Syria and Iran recently attacked targets in a de-confliction zone established by Russia in agreement with the U.S. on Syria’s border with Israel and Jordan.
The U.S. and Israel had both warned Syria and Iran not to attack these targets, but they did it anyway.
Thousands of people have fled the area in anticipation of a widening war.
Syria and Iran want to take control of this area to create a way to get behind Israeli troops on the Golan Heights and expand the war against Israel.
Many think it is unwise for Syria and Iran to ignore the clear warnings of Pres. Trump and Prime Min. Netanyahu.
On June 26, 2018, a large Iranian cargo plane landed at the Damascus International airport in Damascus, Syria.
The plane was struck by two Israeli missiles while it was being unloaded.
There are contradictory reports on what happened, but one source said the plane exploded and many people were killed.
Third, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog, the U.S. doesn’t believe Syria and Iran would attack targets in the de-confliction zone in Syria without the permission of Russia.
The U.S. was recently proven right when Russian jets provided air cover for another attack in the de-confliction zone.
Since that attack, Iran has started massing troops in Syria near the Golan Heights on Israel’s border with Syria.
This confirms that Iran is not satisfied with the territory they now hold.
Iranian and Hezbollah troops keep moving closer and closer to Israel’s border with Syria (or should I say closer and closer to their destruction).
On June 26, 2018, loud explosions were heard near the Golan Heights. Sources said Syria was firing anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli jets.
On that same day, Syrian and Iranian-backed Hezbollah troops violated a Syrian-Israeli agreement and took illegal possession of an abandoned UN post in a demilitarized zone on the Golan Heights.
This writer can’t predict whether Israel will respond or not, but Israel has made it clear that the Israeli military is aware of the illegal presence of those troops, and the Israeli military may have to remove them by force.
It is anyone’s guess as to whether or not the prophesied wars have started, but the conflict is definitely not over, and it is growing more serious with each passing day.
Incidentally, before I close, on June 25, 2018, the value of Iran’s currency plummeted against the dollar and massive protests broke out in Tehran.
Protesters chanted “death to Syria” and “our enemy is here, not the U.S.”

A report on June 25, 2018, by The Times of Israel staff said: “Videos posted to social media showed protesters chanting: ‘No to Gaza, no to Lebanon’ and ‘Leave Syria and think of us.’ Chants of ‘We don’t want the ayatollahs’ and ‘Death to the dictator’ were also heard at some rallies.”
The Mullahs of Iran badly need silver and gold, cattle and goods (Ez. 38:11-12).

HERE WE GO: Millennial Democrats EMBRACE Socialism

A few months ago, Hillary Clinton was asked about whether her self-identification as a capitalist had hurt her among members of her own core constituency. She said it had. She was right. And the Democratic Party is now moving openly in the direction of embracing socialism.
All of this follows what are, in any serious sense, relatively minor wins for self-proclaimed Democratic Socialists within the party. The momentum began with Bernie Sanders’ stunning 2016 presidential run, which galvanized young people in a way Hillary’s campaign never did. Sanders’ radicalism permeated the party and radicalized ambitious politicians like Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). But Warren and Booker and Harris and Gillibrand still don’t openly embrace socialism as a philosophy.
Not so with a few fringe members of the party getting outsized attention for winning primaries. These would be Summer Lee, 30, and Sara Innamorato, 32, and Elizabeth Fiedler, 37, all three of whom won nominations for the Pennsylvania State Legislature in the Democratic Party. And the latest and greatest of these emissaries of Marx is, of course, the media’s beloved Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 28, who just knocked off Joe Crowley in a primary vote in New York.
Now, Michelle Goldberg of The New York Times points out that millennials are embracing socialism in large numbers:
Talk of popular control of the means of production is anathema to many older Democrats, even very liberal ones. It plays a lot better with the young; one recent survey shows that 61 percent of Democrats between 18 and 34 view socialism positively… Indeed, while there’s a lot of talk about an ideological civil war among Democrats, on the ground, boundaries seem more fluid. In Pennsylvania recently, I met with moderate suburban resistance activists who’d volunteered for Innamorato, thrilled to support a young woman who could help revitalize the Democratic Party.
And herein lies the issue for Democrats: while the agenda of the DSA is utterly unworkable and insane — nationalized healthcare, guaranteed housing, guaranteed government jobs — the Democratic Party is happy to embrace the crowd, even if it means embracing unworkable policies. Socialism allows Democrats to fit President Trump’s victory into an ideological framework: he’s the apotheosis of evil capitalism run amok, finally at the head of American government. As Goldberg writes:
The young members of the D.S.A., meanwhile, are hopeful because their analysis helps them make sense of the Trump catastrophe. They often seem less panicked about what is happening in America right now than liberals are, because they believe they know why our society is coming undone, and how it can be rebuilt. … After Ocasio-Cortez’s win, Pelosi denied Republican claims that socialism is ascendant in the Democratic Party. It’s hard to blame her for being defensive, since for generations “socialist” was considered a slur, and it’s one that’s hurled at Democrats indiscriminately. But I think she’s wrong. There are more candidates like Ocasio-Cortez out there, and the Democrats should welcome them. It needs their youth and zeal and willingness to do the work of rebuilding the party as a neighborhood institution. And they’re coming, whether the party’s leadership likes it or not.
Now, socialism has failed every time it has been tried. European-style socialism isn’t actually socialism in the true sense — it doesn’t nationalize the means of production, or “democratize” them. But socialism provides a sense of meaning to people who have none. Perhaps the most interesting part of Goldberg’s piece is her insistence that socialists are working to recreate social fabric:
I was struck by the work they put into building community. On some days that public schools are closed, the D.S.A.’s socialist-feminist committee puts on all-day events with child care and free lunches. Like several other chapters, the Pittsburgh D.S.A. holds clinics where members change people’s burned-out car brake lights for free, helping them avoid unnecessary police run-ins while making inroads into the community. A local mechanic named Metal Mary helped train them.
But this all comes to an end the moment socialists actually hold power. Then they abandon local charitable solutions, and immediately turn to government. Socialism isn’t voluntary. It’s inherently coerced.
The Democratic move toward socialism is easy to mock, but the reality is that Americans tend to swing from party to party electorally. There will come some point when Democrats are again ascendant. If they’re the party of Bernie Sanders when that happens, get ready for American liberties to be thrown under the bus in favor of hackneyed nostrums about the power of the people, amidst increasing suffering of individuals.
