Bill Gates Pushes Population Control on Africa Instead of Helping With Clean Water or Education

INTERNATIONAL   MICAIAH BILGER   OCT 31, 2018   |   12:58PM    WASHINGTON, DC
African leaders say impoverished families in their countries want clean water, food, education and basic health care. But some of the world’s richest billionaires are using their money to push contraception and abortions on them instead.
In a recent interview with The Star in Kenya, American billionaire Bill Gates said his foundation is not involved in abortions (though evidence suggests otherwise), but it does focus on providing contraception to women and girls in Africa.
He did not shy away from saying that population control is their goal. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation long has been pushing population control on Africa. It recently released a new report about its work toward “ending poverty and fighting inequality.”
According to the news outlet, the report suggests measures to shift Africans toward “wanted births or fewer early births as a means to reduce population growth in Africa.”
Gates said they are working toward that goal by increasing access to contraception.
“The biggest thing is the modern tools of contraception,” he said. “There are implants, injections, IUD. And, obviously, if you have those things available, then people are more in control of being able to space their children.”
He noted how the United States provides more funds for contraception than anywhere else in the world.
“The US’s overall funding on reproductive health has stayed high,” Gates said. “It actually is the biggest funder, even though the programmes have had controversy and a lot of discussion. So, you look at how are these contraceptive supplies getting out in Africa? The US, along with the European donors, are where most of those resources have come from.”
Gates and his wife have been strong critics of President Donald Trump’s Mexico City policy, which prohibits tax dollars from funding groups that provide or promote abortions overseas. The order ensures U.S. foreign aid will continue to support legitimate health care and humanitarian relief. It just will not subsidize abortions in foreign countries.

In the recent interview, Gates admitted the pro-life policy has not really hurt legitimate health care efforts in Africa. Abortion activists have claimed otherwise.
Gates told The Star: “You know, it’s actually not all that visible how much more difficult or what sort of impact that’s had. You know, we certainly have said that we think the rule doesn’t make sense, but it’s very much in place, and people have adjusted to try to minimize the negative impact of that.”
He said their foundation’s focus has been on providing “new tools of contraception and getting the message out.”
“A woman less able to have her desired family size, which both at the local and broad level, we think is very, very unfortunate,” Gates said.
But pro-life African leader Obianuju Ekeocha has criticized these population control programs as a new form of “colonialism” in Africa.
“As a society, we love and welcome babies,” Ekeocha said during a recent talk at Georgetown University. “Amidst our different difficulties and afflictions…our babies are always a firm sign of hope.”
Her important work has helped to expose how the western world pushes abortion on Africans. She said impoverished Africans want clean water, food, shelter and basic health care and education, but some programs push birth control and abortion instead.
“It is easier and cheaper to buy a bag of condoms than buy a bottle of water,” Ekeocha said.

CNN Host Don Lemon: “Biggest Terror Threat in This Country is [Conservative] White Men” (So there we have it, this proves it Don Lemon is a Bigot)

NATIONAL   KRISTINE MARSH   OCT 31, 2018   |   9:32AM    WASHINGTON, DC
The true threat to this country’s stability is not one ethnicity or people group, CNN host Don Lemon lectured at the end of Chris Cuomo’s show Monday night, before contradicting himself by stating that white conservative men are actually the biggest terror threat America faces.
Lemon made that statement as Cuomo was signing off his primetime show October 29, as the pair complained about Trump’s rhetoric on illegal immigration. The liberal journalists, taking a note from their peers, tied it to the recent horrific murders at a Pittsburgh synagogue and a Kroger grocery store (because of course somehow everything is Trump’s fault):
CHRIS CUOMO: It’s not just Pittsburgh. It’s not just the bomber. There was another hate filled criminal just last week in Kentucky. Another white man, history of violence, custody for shooting and killing two African Americans at Kroger’s. He tried to barge into a predominantly black church and failed and he chose a second target. We barely have time to cover it because we were distracted by another extremist that was was doing bad things.
DON LEMON: Yeah. And then now another one. You all of them in a row. We messaged a little about this this weekend.
That’s when Lemon absurdly scolded Trump and the country for “demonizing” Muslims and illegal aliens, adding that we needed to “realize the biggest terror threat in this country” is white men radicalized by the right, and suggested maybe there should be a “ban” on “white guys:”
I keep trying to pointing out to people not to demonize one group of people or ethnicity but we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else. Some people who are marching towards the border like it’s eminent, the last time they did this, a couple of hundred people came and they, most of them did get into the country. Most of them got tuckered out before they made it to the border, so we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them. There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban on — you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban. So what do we do about that?

Attorney Becomes Pro-Life After Watching “Gosnell” Movie: “At Some Point It’s Not Abortion, It’s Murder”

NATIONAL   MICAIAH BILGER   OCT 31, 2018   |   10:50AM    WASHINGTON, DC
Missouri lawyer Adam Mill was “agnostic” about the abortion issue before seeing “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.”
But like many others who have watched the film, Mill said he changed his mind after learning about the reality of the abortion industry in America today.
“Gosnell,” which opened Oct. 12, follows the true story of Kermit Gosnell, a Philadelphia abortionist who murdered newborn babies and committed numerous other crimes inside his “house of horrors” abortion facility. It stars Dean Cain (“Lois & Clark”) and is directed by Nick Searcy (“The Shape of Water,” “Justified”). It broke into the top 10 films in its first weekend.
Writing for The Federalist, Mill said the film “shattered my sheltered agnosticism over abortion.”
“When the sounds of a crying baby can be heard in an abortion clinic, I am forced to admit that abortion stalks the edges of the definition of murder,” he wrote.
What was eye opening for him was how Gosnell killed the babies. According to the grand jury report, Gosnell often induced labor and late-term babies were born alive, then he or one of his staff would take a pair of scissors and snip the backs of their necks to kill them.
Authorities estimated Gosnell may have killed hundreds of babies this way, but they only had enough evidence to convict him on three counts of murder. The grand jury noted the reason for the lack of evidence: “files were falsified or removed from the facility and possibly destroyed.”
Mill responded to these horrors:
Gosnell’s defense at trial was to point to the arbitrary legal line between what he did and what the law sanctioned. His attorney argued that even if he had followed proper procedures in a sterile clinic using the most advanced medical equipment to terminate pregnancies, the fundamental moral character of what he was doing wouldn’t change.

Although Gosnell’s technique sometimes resulted in birthing the child before terminating it, he argued that, from a medical point of view, it’s sometimes more dangerous to the woman to do the procedure while the child is still inside the woman. So, to Gosnell’s way of thinking, birthing the baby sometimes improves abortion’s health outcome for the mother.
… At the end of Gosnell’s procedure, he considers it a success if the woman is no longer pregnant and there is no baby. Is it really murder outside the womb, but legal when a doctor completes the procedure inside?
These revealing facts prompted Mill to reconsider his apathy on the issue.
“After seeing Gosnell sneer at the line, I see the urgency of public participation in the question. If it is left up to the advocates for unfettered abortion rights, would there be any line at all?” he wrote.
Mill said everyone should watch the movie, especially “Americans like me who avoided the abortion issue because I lacked the moral courage to really think about it and form my own opinion.”
The film has been eye-opening for many Americans. Earlier this month, media entrepreneur Patrick Courrielche and Kathy Zhu, a college student with a huge social media following, also said the film changed their minds about abortion.
Film producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney said they have heard many similar stories.
“We showed a liberal friend an early cut of the film and he left the theater and started chain-smoking declaring: ‘I’ll have to rethink everything,” they said. “That is why we made the Gosnell Movie – not to make people think a particular thing but to bring facts to people and to make them think again. As journalists and filmmakers it is all we want to do.”
In 2013, a jury convicted Gosnell of murdering three newborn babies and contributing to the death of a female patient, along with numerous other crimes. He was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison. The grand jury report found that abortion activists ignored Gosnell, allowing his horrific business to continue for decades.
The film is rated PG-13. Hundreds of theaters across the U.S. are showing the film. For more details, visit gosnellmovie.com.

Oprah Winfrey Campaigns for Pro-Abortion Candidate Who’s a “Staunch Defender” of Killing Babies

Oprah Winfrey Campaigns for Pro-Abortion Candidate Who’s a “Staunch Defender” of Killing Babies

STATE   STEVEN ERTELT   OCT 31, 2018   |   2:01PM    ATLANTA, GA
Earlier this year, Oprah Winfrey waded into political waters by promoting the “Shout Your Abortion” movement and its attempts to normalize the killing of unborn babies. Now the former television talk show host is heading to the deep end of the political waters by campaigning for a candidate who says she is a “staunch defender” of abortion.
Winfrey will campaign door to door for Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who is taking on pro-life candidate Brian Kemp. Abrams isn’t just an abortion supporter. She pledges as governor, to continue her 11-year career from the state legislature of opposing even the most common sense limits on abortion and has called herself a “staunch defender” of killing babies in abortions.
To get the abortion activist installed as Georgie’s governor, here’s what Winfrey will be doing:
Winfrey has rarely campaigned in-person with political candidates, but did so with Obama in 2008 (she endorsed Hillary Clinton in her presidential bid in 2016).
Winfrey will join Abrams on Thursday, Nov. 1, at two town hall conversations with constituents — in Cobb County and DeKalb County. She will also be knocking on doors, in these last few days of early voting in the state, encouraging eligible voters to cast their ballots for Abrams.
Even so, this is one of the tightest governor races in this election; polling analyzed by FiveThirtyEight has had the opponents neck and neck for some time now. The race could head to a runoff election in December if neither candidate gets above 50%.
Which is why Kemp is also taking no chances: On the same day as Oprah’s door-knocking and town halls for Abrams, Vice President Mike Pence will be hosting events with Kemp in Dalton, Savannah, and Grovetown. Pence’s visit will be followed by a flying visit on Sunday from President Trump, who already endorsed Kemp, and has been tweeting hard in support of him.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Abrams, said: “I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians.”
Thee campaigning will be an extension of Oprah’s abortion advocacy from this summer. The July issue of her “O” magazine featured “Shout Your Abortion” founder Amelia Bonow in its “Inspiration” section. Bonow, who began the campaign to urge women to brag about aborting their unborn babies, soon will be coming out with a new book by the same title.
Oprah’s “O” magazine is doing a disservice to its readers by promoting the “Shout Your Abortion” campaign. Bonow’s movement gives the impression that women are glad they aborted their unborn babies. The truth is that some women regret their abortions and others do not, but no matter what the women’s feelings, their abortions destroyed another human being, their own child’s chance to ever have a story.
