Man throws Molotov cocktail into Dem headquarters

Authorities are looking into an incident involving a man wearing an American flag bandana throwing a Molotov cocktail into the county Democratic Party headquarters in Austin, Texas.

The device failed to ignite when lobbed into the Travis County Democratic Party headquarters early Wednesday morning, officials said. A pile of papers was set ablaze, but employees of a nearby business quickly extinguished it.

Security cameras recorded the incident, which occurred at about 2 am. According to Travis County Democratic Party Chairwoman Katie Naranjo, the suspect left a threatening, politically motivated note.

“Anyone who wears an American flag as a bandana and then throws a Molotov cocktail … into a building and leaves a note, a threatening note, is a coward,” she said.

According to Austin Fire Capt. Brandon Jennings, the man in the video may also be responsible for vandalizing a county administrative building a few hours later.

Russiagate prosecutor subpoenas law firm tied to 2016 Clinton campaign

Special Counsel John Durham issued a fresh round of grand jury subpoenas as part of his probe into alleged misconduct during the Trump-Russia investigation, including one targeting a law firm with ties to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The new subpoenas come after Durham charged Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann with lying to the FBI. His firm, Perkins Coie, was the subject of the new orders. Perkins Coie worked for Hillary Clinton during her 2016 campaign, and former partner Mark Elias retained political intelligence firm Fusion GPS, which went on to help fund the infamous ‘Steele dossier.’

The new orders could lead to a legal battle over privileged information and more insight into the Clinton campaign. Additionally, Durham’s continued use of a federal grand jury could mean he’s interested in bringing more charges to Sussmann or against additional ants.

Sussmann pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Use me this day as I am a willing vessel Lord, in leading others to your kingdom. Wash me as white as snow. Put a hedge of protection around me as I go forth in doing your will. Thank you Jesus for saving me, as I know that only through my faith in you that all this is possible.
