Abp. Cordileone is "skirting" (pun intended) the issue. He is merely one of the cabal of the US Coven of Cowardly Bishops. While prayer is always good, as Ms. Tisor mentioned -- despite his repeated admonitions (both public (and by his own admission), private) Pelosi will never change. Cordileone simply hasn't the spine to excommunicate her nor to deny her Holy Communion.
The archbishop needs to take a stand, both to try and avoid further scandal to the Faithful and for the sake of Pelosi's soul.
So glad CM points out that the pope avoids the word Islam in these attacks. If you read any of the Quran there are passages that legitimize these actions.
